I was being told one thing by one person and something else by another person all the time, and no one seemed to be on the same page. I had to follow up several times just to get basic updates, which was tiring. Also, there were last-minute inquiries for documentation that could have been requested sooner in the process. It was very chaotic, and I did not know half the time whether my loan was going to go through. The interest rate I received was okay, but all the hassle of dealing with them made me question if the end result was worth it. I wouldn't call them the worst lender in the world, but I definitely wouldn't go back to use them unless they get their communication together and streamline their process. There are definitely better lenders out there.

Though I did acquire the loan, the surprise fees gave me a sour taste in my mouth. I will never be using them again, and I would not recommend them to anyone who likes things transparent. If you do decide to go with them, make sure to triple-check all the fees before closing.

Unnecessary Delays and Poor Follow-Up
I had a very frustrating experience with New American Funding. They took much longer than expected to process my mortgage, even though I had submitted all the required documents on time. Every time I called for an update, I was given vague answers or transferred to someone else. The lack of follow-up was incredibly disappointing, and I felt like I was chasing them to get things done. When we finally got to closing, I discovered some unexpected costs that hadn?t been clearly disclosed before. It made me wonder if I had made the right choice in selecting them as my lender. While the loan terms themselves were acceptable, the stress and delays made the experience miserable. I wouldn't use them again, and I wouldn?t recommend them unless they improve their communication and processing times. If you need a quick and efficient process, look elsewhere.

Disorganized Process, Too Much Stress
My experience with New American Funding was full of unnecessary stress. The process started smoothly, but as it progressed, everything became disorganized. I kept receiving conflicting information from different representatives, and I had to resend documents multiple times because they claimed they couldn?t find them. It was frustrating and time-consuming. The final approval took much longer than promised, and I almost missed my closing date because of their delays. Their rates were decent, but the lack of efficiency and organization made the experience unbearable. By the time I closed, I was relieved to be done with them. I cannot recommend them based on my experience. If they improve their internal coordination and customer service, maybe things would be better. But as it stands, I wouldn?t take the risk again.

Decent Rates, But Too Many Hurdles

I had to provide additional documentation multiple times because the underwriting team kept changing what they needed. It caused frustrating delays, and at one point, I almost considered going with another lender. The loan officer was nice but didn?t seem to have much control over the process. The final loan terms were fair, but the amount of back and forth was exhausting. If you don?t mind a slow and sometimes frustrating process, they might be okay. But if you want something smooth and efficient, I?d suggest looking elsewhere.

Not Worth the Hassle
I regret using New American Funding for my mortgage. They were disorganized and slow, and their customer service was poor. Could Have Been Better
