I have been going to this Tim Hortons for years, and their coffee flavors never disappoint. I love the range they have from their rich dark roast to the indulgent iced cappuccinos. Declining Quality and Service
Tim Hortons used to be my favorite coffee shop, but lately, it feels like the quality has declined. The coffee tastes weaker than it used to, and the food often seems hastily prepared. Tim Hortons has lots of potential, but in many ways, it doesn't live up to par. The food is average, but most times the sandwiches and pastries seem to lack freshness. At times, the coffee might taste great; other times, it's just lukewarm or bitter. The service is sometimes slow, even during their off-peak hours, and the attitude of the staff is not always friendly or attentive. I also find the seating areas at many locations cramped and not very appealing. I have found my visits to Tim Hortons to be very frustrating. My local Tim's has an unorganized staff; they mess up many orders and often leave items off. The coffee isn't great either; sometimes it is too weak, other times, it tastes burnt. Wait times for anything are longer than they should be, even at off-peak hours. Also, the seating area is not too clean, such as tables being sticky or just not cleaned often enough. The prices have also slowly increased, which makes it even more difficult to continue to pay so much for a company with subpar service and quality. I used to like going but will now continue to look at other places for coffee.

Could Be Better
I really want to like Tim Hortons, but recently it has been hit-or-miss. While their coffee is normally quite good, it sometimes isn't very hot. This is highly unsatisfying on those cold mornings. The food is merely OK, and the sandwiches occasionally taste stale or don't contain all the advertised ingredients. Many of the staff are friendly but appear overwhelmed at busy periods; consequently, service is sometimes slow, and orders are sometimes wrong. At my local branch, the drive-thru has been poorly laid out, so queues often snake out into the street. I do appreciate that their menu items are relatively affordable, but such inconsistency in quality and service is just too hard to continuously be a loyal customer of theirs.

Tim Hortons is far too overpriced for the meal one gets. The coffee doesn't have a rich, bold taste that a restaurant chain of this caliber should have, and the portions of food ordered seem to be getting much smaller. The breakfast sandwiches, convenient, are more often than not cold or partially made. They are polite, yet appear to be in a rush, and the service is compromised. Cleanliness is another issue; some locations feel neglected with trash bins overflowing and tables not being wiped down. For the prices they're charging now, I expect better quality and service. Tim Hortons used to be a favorite of mine, but it's no longer living up to its reputation.

I have been very disappointed in the drive-thru at Tim Hortons lately. The lines move slowly, and even then, my order is wrong mostly every time. I've had to go back inside many times to rectify mistakes, which takes away from the convenience of it. The service is hit-or-miss, too, and this seems related to staff being very busy; sometimes they are less attentive than in times past. Places seem clean or not, depending on the location. I still go because of habit, but it can be recognized that some changes may be necessary for them to return to how much better they used to be.

Overcrowded and Messy
Tim Hortons at busy hours is stressful. The dining area is often overcrowded, with limited seating and tables that aren?t cleaned promptly. The staff seem overwhelmed, which leads to long wait times and frequent order mistakes. The coffee quality isn?t consistent, and the food often arrives cold or poorly prepared. The drive-thru is no better, with long lines and slow service. While the menu items are cheap, the dining experience is not nice at all, and the food and service are inconsistent; that's a major turnoff. Tim Hortons should work on making these right to make the experience enjoyable again.

Disappointing Drive-Thru
The drive-thru experience at Tim Horton's has gone downhill. It?s supposed to be quick and convenient, but the lines are often long, and the staff seem unprepared to handle the rush. My orders are frequently incorrect, and I?ve had to park and go inside to fix mistakes. The coffee is lukewarm more often than not, and the food feels like it?s been sitting out for too long. Another thing is cleanliness; I've also seen trash pile up around the parking lot. While I appreciate affordability, the drive-thru problems and declining quality make it hard to recommend.
