Not Worth the Cost

I was paying them top-dollar prices and discovered that tons of basic treatments were either excluded or reimbursed at a fraction of that price. I filed a claim for the dog's dental surgery, and the reimbursement was much lower than expected. What's more frustrating is that there were all these delays. Each time I would file a claim, it would take me weeks before the response, then the reply was my claim was incomplete or lacked the right paperwork. In instances when I do call the customer service hotline, it just ended with generic responses and was of no help at all. I would not recommend Pumpkin Care to anyone.

I have been a customer of Pumpkin Care for about six months, and my experience has been largely negative. While their website and marketing materials make the insurance seem like a good deal, in reality, the coverage is quite limited, and the exclusions are not clearly defined. I discovered the hard way that some treatments my pet required were not covered, which has been extremely frustrating. Plus, their customer service has been absolutely terrible. Every time I tried to contact them about a claim or policy question, I was put on hold for long periods or received no response at all. I have never had such poor service from an insurance company, and I will not renew my policy with them. Avoid at All Costs

Not Worth the Price
I joined Pumpkin Care when a friend spoke well of it; it has been a huge disappointment. The amount of reimbursement that I got while filing a claim for the surgery of my pet was a fraction of what I was expecting. Pumpkin Care's experience has been a nightmare. I was initially using it as a good coverage plan for my dog's needs. I realized, however that many treatments are excluded from the coverage. Claims on certain services will be reimbursed, but they never are. The reimbursement is always less than what is expected, and there is an enormous amount of time taken to process claims. Worst of all has been the customer service. Every time I have called them with a question, I have been placed on hold for a long time and received very vague, unhelpful responses. Overall, I am beyond frustrated with Pumpkin Care and their inability to provide clear answers or decent coverage. I'll cancel my policy as soon as possible and get another provider.

Since signing up, I have encountered nothing but issues with Pumpkin Care. The biggest issue has been how extremely delayed claims processing has become.
