I placed a number of orders with Asda online, anticipating the transaction to go smoothly. Needless to say, this was not the case. I never received a copy of my order confirmation and, thus, did not receive an order number. Two weeks later and still no sign of the goods. Customer services was also impossible to access. I was forced to take the matter further with my bank when trying to get the issue sorted and claim some kind of refund. This type of lack of communication and poor service is unacceptable for any retail operation - in my opinion, especially for something like Asda. The frustration and waste of time experienced in trying to resolve this problem has put me right off using their online again. It is frustrating that even a simple grocery order becomes a financial and time consuming headache.

I really had an annoying experience at Asda when, trying to use a promotional coupon for grocery shopping, it wasn't properly applied at the checkout. I called customer service, and they immediately told me that they didn't understand my problem and handled my issue with an unfriendly attitude. I got transferred from one department to another for more than an hour, getting confused each time. The problem was still unsolved, and I left without being understood or valued as a customer. It is really disappointing when simple questions turn out to be such a marathon of inefficiency. Asda should train their staff better in terms of customer relations and problem-solving. Support channels need to be available, capable, and empathetic as well for better customer retention.

The Asda shop that I visited recently was the grimmiest. The floors were crammed with trash, shelves were dusty, but the most devastating was the toilet. They were completely filthy, containing broken dispensers, and a stink so egregious that it was almost impossible to use them. Such a massive retailer like Asda should not be short of the most basic hygiene. On the other hand, it reflects poorly on its brand and creates health hazards for all its customers. It is high time Asda acted on these issues quickly. A shopping place must be clean and attractive rather than a place where one has to worry about sanitation. This experience led me to decrease my respect for Asda and deter me from going there again.

Asda's customer support staff deserves kudos for quality service. The minor problem that occurs because of misplaced orders was responded to by customer support through quick and courteous courtesy. They got this sorted with hardly any hassles and followed up on my satisfaction. The staff members knowledgeable as well as sympathetic, it was stress-free work. It is very rare one finds such proactive and customer-focused service. This hasn't simply solved my concern quickly but has also come closer to strengthening my allegiance towards Asda as a retailer that really cares for its customers.

There's always enjoyment in shopping at Asda due to the vast assortment of goods. I always come across whatever it is I am seeking-from gourmet food to household and electronics. The supermarket layouts are eyecatching and make it easy to navigate around; prices are competitive on a wide range of products so there's good value for money. The budget and premium brands that are sold in the supermarkets enable me to shop according to my needs and budget, so it's never disappointing. This varied range that Asda offers makes it a shop where everything is covered for me to shop.

My last experience with Asda delivery was very disappointing. In fact, I had booked a slot with them and would not be around at the time they were supposed to deliver, yet they just kept saying it would arrive on that day without an explanation of why it was running so late. I spent the whole day getting ready for the delivery and was unable to take care of some other personal commitments, but, when I contacted customer service, they were not helpful at all. In fact, the caller seemed disinterested in solving my problem. The grocery ordered was really important for my week and the failure on their part to deliver on time caused me a lot of inconvenience. Moreover, when delivered, some of the items were missing, and the subs they provided were quite unsuitable. So, Asda's delivery service has proven unreliable, and their customer care requires serious improvement. I had expected much better from such a well-established company.

Dealing with Asda's return policy was such a nightmare. I tried to get a faulty kitchen appliance returned to the shop, but this process dragged on for several weeks with poor communication. The staff members were not helpful and could contradict each other about the same piece of information so you never knew where you were. A serious fault with their customer service is there is no straightforward procedure in place to deal with returns. It is frustrating to be passed around from person to person without ever getting anywhere. This experience has really made me think about shopping at Asda again in the future.

Asda customer service was utterly ineffective when I tried to deal with a problem concerning an online order. The answers were very slow, and whenever I finally got through to someone on the phone, they could not give a satisfactory response to my problem. It actually took several calls and emails just to have a general acknowledgement of the problem. And even then, the problem was not solved. This lack of effective customer support is unacceptable for a retailer of Asda's size. Customers expect and deserve better handling of their concerns.

The management at my local Asda store is really poor. On my last visit, there were several aisles blocked with stock unpacked that I found totally impossible to navigate the shop. The staff appeared very disorganized and did not seem to take initiative in helping customers or manage the queues at the checkout, which were enormous. Poor management in stores like these affects the shopping experience but presumes a much deeper issue with the leadership of the store. It's sad to see that such a well known store failed to set and uphold basic standards of customer care and management of its stores.

I found my Asda self-checkout experience very frustrating. The machines were all the time out of order, and there were not enough members of staff around to provide support. When I did have to seek help, it was slow in coming and unsupportive. This created unnecessary delay and stress as well over my shopping. A store like Asda should ensure that people are available in good enough numbers, and at the checkout is a critical part in your journey. This has created a bad impression and dissuades me from returning.

Product availability at Asda is becoming very unpredictable. I have had several occasions where my visit to the shop results in many items on my shopping list not being available in store. It is no longer a one-off disappointment but seems to be turning into a regular occurrence. Most frustratingly, this usually happens with everyday household supplies and groceries. If Asda does not manage proper supply stock, there is no point in offering one-stop shopping. I've been made to shop elsewhere where I know every time that I will get every product.

I have been attracted by the offers given at Asda, but did indeed lose out once I got to the store. This has happened far too often and seems more of a bait and switch. If I bring it up with the staff, they seem neither convinced nor knowing if these offers exist in-store. This discrepancy between what they say and what is available in-store is misleading and wasting customers' time and energy. Only when Asda can ensure that their offers are on offer at the time of their advertisements will they get a return on the trust factor.

The current online shopping system at Asda is woefully inadequate and frustrating. The website is usually slow to load, and on several occasions, items in my cart have simply disappeared at checkout. However, this was the last straw?a completed order did not process correctly, yet somehow the payment was taken. From this experience, I had great difficulty getting a customer services issue resolved efficiently. This inconvenience should not be expected from a leading retailer, and the online shopping experience Asda offers currently is not of the quality today's consumer expects.

The quality of fresh produce has really deteriorated in Asda. Most of the vegetables I buy appear to be wilted, and at times fruits even have a 'use by' date passed. This is shameful since I source all my weekly groceries from Asda. Poor quality control on their part in the fresh produce department makes healthy options a gamble while shopping. I have had to discard some produce a few times due to this quality. Not only is it a waste of cash, but it also discourages the healthy adoption of good eating habits.

Asda's Click & Collect is really disorganized and very badly managed. I have used this service with the anticipation of being convenient, but often the pickup points are chaotic, orders being messed up or delayed. Staff appear overwhelmed and not adequately trained to cope with the volume of orders. This has resulted in long waits and wrong items being taken out. Asda needs to streamline their processes and improve staff training so that the pickup service matches the convenience it promises.

Getting through to Asda customer care is a test in futility. Waiting times are far too long, and when one finally does get through, the service people are usually not very helpful and seem in a hurry. In quite a few instances, my problem was not addressed at all and I had to sort things out by myself. For the size of the company that Asda is, I expect far more thoughtful service. Their customer care system needs a lot of reworking to be more responsive and effective.

They constantly fail to achieve their promised delivery times on my orders, and this unreliability affects my scheduling and planning. Their customer service team's response to these challenges has been very disappointing; they promise more than they deliver, and in some cases, all they do is apologize without directing me to a concrete solution or offering redress. It is abysmal for any supermarket company not to deliver on their scheduled goods delivery time, especially when they are service-providing institutions towards which customers must rely for their immediate everyday needs.

Store policies at Asda differ in crazy ways from one visit to the next, especially on returns and exchanges. One day they take it; the next day they won't. Nobody ever tells me that. It just doesn't make any sense. If I go in knowing what I want, then I'm probably going to have to return it at some point, and that makes me avoid buying anything. A good clear-cut policy should be a part of good retail service.

The checkout process is abysmal and ridiculously slow at Asda. At busy times it is really painful to wait in the queue, and at times I haven't managed to find an available till with such obvious demand. It's happened to me more times than I'd care to remember - left my shopping behind and gone elsewhere. Asda needs to get a grip on its flow of checkouts to avoid losing customers who want to have a quick shop.

The quality of the meat products I bought from Asda was not so good. Chicken was smelling odd, while beef was tougher in contrast with what I used to buy from the store. It is alarming when the quality control of such basic items becomes compromised. Sourcing and quality check have also been on the downtrend according to my latest few visits. People want to buy fresh, high-quality food from a supermarket, and Asda is failing to do that.

Asda has unreliable price items. Several instances recently where shelf prices do not reflect the bill later at checkout have caused awkwardness and a decision whether to continue at higher levels of prices. I have shopped at Asda for years and never failed to find fresh groceries; the fruits and vegetables are never stale or dull but, in fact, crisp and vivid, indicating that they sourced their products with quality as a priority. Standards with Asda food items seem to be high and this has an impact on both the taste and shelf life of the food purchased. Thus, Asda is a good reliable destination for shopping on a weekly basis; I am also guaranteed that anything which has been purchased will still be fresh when I get home.

The approachable staff members who seemed to go out of their ways just to ensure they would actually help find specific products. I was also impressed by how quick the checkouts were and the extra health and safety mechanisms that clearly showed a safe environment for all customers. Such regular positive experiences ensure that, even after a long time, I return to Asda for my regular shopping.

Apart from being stale and old, one of the reasons the bakery products in Asda never fail to disappoint me is that they are also hard. While bread and pastries are supposed to be soft fresh items, in Asda, they have been mostly come out to be stale and hard. It is a very disappointing thing to see about something as important as that department in a shop. Asda needs to correct this if it is serious about retaining its customers.

It was a pleasant place to shop at Asda, but the atmosphere lately has changed so much. The aisles of the stores are mostly congested and noisy for promotional stuff, which fills up the aisles, making it difficult to pass through. Asda's online shopping interface is frustratingly outdated and difficult to navigate. You often get results that are completely useless while trying to find a product, or so many steps to check out. The frozen stuff coming out of Asda is just absolutely inconsistent. Despite giving several feedbacks on various issues ranging from product quality to service for customers, I experienced no improvement or acknowledgment from Asda. As pet owner, I find the range of pet products offered by Asda to be disappointing-the choice is bad and often not of the quality one expects from pets. It is evident during my visits that the Asda staff are overstretched and under-resourced. They cannot cope with the questions thrown their way by customers, to restock shelves completely, or even clean up their stores. Asda should look at improving its staffing levels and support systems toward bettering store operations.

Normally, the electronics section at Asda is disorganized and poorly stocked. Items advertised online infrequently are available in the store, and staff are rarely knowledgeable about products. The toilet and baby rooms in Asda are normally dirty and not well looked after. Irresponsibility in this aspect can affect how a customer lives in the precinct of the business. It started with some recent attempts at online shopping with Asda-it was a complete disaster. Not only was the website down, but it was hard to select and buy any items. Then, when my order finally came in, some of the products I looked forward to were missing from the list, and it had offered me some other products which were very useless to my needs. It was almost impossible to have someone pick up the phone to talk about the problems, and when it became possible, the experience was of no use to solve my problem. It consumed so much time and energy as if it would have saved, since online shopping would do it for me. It is frustrating to see such inefficiency come from such a big company. It really made me think seriously whether or not I should shop with Asda again.

A visit to the Asda hypermarket proved to be an unacceptable experience. The aisles were messy with disorganized store layout, particularly annoying for those people who require walking and should have some space to navigate through. Products were placed without much care on shelves, and numerous necessities are out of stock. Adding insult to injury, employees appeared to be unmindful of customers' needs, discussing amongst themselves instead of helping the customers out. When I managed to find someone to help me, they lacked knowledge of products they were dealing with, apparently, giving wrong information concerning available goods. Checkout lines proved to be way too long, and the area was entirely chaotic without one member of staff to direct the queue. This is not the kind of experience one expects from a big supermarket chain like Asda.

I am highly disappointed by the delivery service Asda. My order was promised to me to be arrived on a specific day, but that never arrived. I didn't get any message from Asda regarding this delay. When I called the customer service department, the line was kept open for such an unreasonably long time that made me worry about it. The representatives showed no apology towards my matter and lack of empathy. They were not able to clarify to me when my groceries would be delivered which really affected my regular weekly meal planning. This kind of service and customer handling is really unacceptable by anybody, especially when the matter is as serious as food delivery. There was not only significant trouble in the failure of goods delivery by Asda but also the company ignored customer satisfaction and trust.

Of late, the electronics bought from Asda have been a letdown. The product had broken down within days of usage, leading to my return. Getting back my money via returns was a nightmare. Customer service desk staff was not informed in any way about the return policy for electronics; three trips back and forth were enough for that nonsense. Each visit saw irritating conflicts regarding advice and requirements presented. It's such a pity to see such bad service and product quality from a reputed retailer like Asda. It makes me sure not to give them any more business in the future.

Clearly, the complaint and problem procedures at Asda are not accountable or efficient. I was left with an assortment of groceries close to their shelf life and many unfit for consumption. I approached the customer service at Asda for a response. The response came very slowly, and the solutions suggested had completely failed to comprehend the seriousness of the problem. Besides proving a slip into irresponsibility in quality control, it points also to a disregard for customer health and safety. A bureaucratic delay in further follow-up calls and unmet promises spoke poorly of Asda's commitment to satisfying its customers. Such situations go on to dent faith and confidence in the brand name Asda, which pinpoints an urgent requirement for improvement in customer service protocols and more significant quality assurance.

I have just used Asda's online shopping system, and I must say that I was quite impressed by how effective and efficient the service was. It was very easy to navigate around the website; it took me a couple of minutes to look at what was available before making my selections and actually ordering. The delivery arrived on time, and all the things were packaged nicely, so there was no damage. Quality of produce was great. How refreshing that Asda has put some quality and thought into their online offering. That way, those who would not go in store will still be able to shop here. That's certainly made me want to use the online service again.
