Great Service in General

A Great Investment for Pet Owners
Embrace Pet Insurance has been a great investment for my pet's health. I've been an insured member with them more than two years now, and their coverage has really come in handy. Worst Experience Ever
I so wanted to love Embrace Pet Insurance, and so far it has been a disappointing affair. Now they are dragging me through the hoop of a claim for surgery on my poor canine and promise me that I'll be paid while all this time telling me we still are in the process. It had to take several weeks to get approval, but when the final approval came, the amount was less than my expectation. I was expecting and hoping for transparency and support, especially considering that I pay at least a few hundred dollars monthly. Regrettably, Embrace failed to live up to my expectation.

Not What I Expected
I selected Embrace because my friends recommended the insurance company. However, my experience has not been great so far. The options that are under policy are good, but I have faced a few problems in getting my claims approved. Terrible Claims Process
My experience with Embrace Pet Insurance has been nothing less than frustrating. After my cat developed a serious health condition, I filed for claim hoping that they would be very responsive, but guess what? Terrible claims process. It took them over a month to think about my claim and the communication was completely absent from their end. While the response reached, it was really astonishing that some of the treatments were not added even though they said that they included them in the bill. It's such a betrayal to feel this way about their services, and I would not suggest them on the basis of this experience.

Good Cover, Bad Communication
So, Embrace Pet Insurance does a good job in covering, but the communication is not good. If my dog had an attack and I need to file for it, it was quite hard to know its status update. The customer service representatives of the company are really friendly but mostly do not know the answers on paper. It's frustrating when one pays for a service where lack of clarity is all that exists during stressful times. I appreciate that they provide cover, but their communication process must do better for the future.

Mixed Feelings
Had mixed feelings about Embrace Pet Insurance. Initially, I liked it until recently when I lodged a claim for my dog and was really disappointed by this company. It took them ages to deal with the claim while I wasn't updated on the progress. They just keep requesting more documentation that would then just extend everything. Weeks just kept passing in trading back and forth, and finally, I got a partial refund that was not even close to what I had in mind. I do not know if I will continue in the future. For the amount I pay, I thought it would have been easier. It is after my dog's surgery that I submitted the claim. I found a stream of hindrances. They took a while to clear the claim, and I have been calling them more than once for an update. I finally received a response, with which I was left in the cold as quite a few of the costs I expected them to cover were denied. I think I was misled during the enrollment process. Generally speaking, the experience has been a nightmare, and I will be looking elsewhere for my pets' provider.

There are various choices of cover, but even in my claim when my pet went for her scheduled procedure took so long to be processed; not all those listed as covered were going to be covered. Claims Process is Unnecessarily Complicated
Embrace has been an enormously confusing and disappointing experience. When my pet faced emergency care, I had to file a claim. It was very cumbersome to try to understand what they wanted for this process. The paperwork was not so clear, and this delayed all the process. Customer support was good but could not solve any of my problems quickly. At the end, I only got a fraction of what I waited to get reimbursed, which left me really disappointed to have borne stress with my pet. Well, I hope they try to ease up a bit on this procedure to the next batch of customers.

Definitely Not Impressed
My experience with Embrace was definitely not impressive. I would say that I was more than a little disappointed, especially since there was such hype over the company. Now, regarding my cat's vet visit: it took quite a while and was quite the ordeal. Customer service was friendly enough but not effective at providing the kind of help one needs at a certain time. Only being partially reimbursed doesn't help to quell those thoughts of having me cancel and switch to a different insurance company for my pets.

Confusing Policy
I did not find the policy issued by Embrace to be understandable for myself. In fact, when I was to file a claim for cat treatment, I became greatly entangled in a quite complex process where I was left utterly unsure of what was covered. Overhyped
I went here expecting a lot based on other people's rave reviews, but the experience was not very good. The process of beginning claims is long and not very accessible. Neither are they very informative of what I am and am not covered by, which has led to some misunderstandings. I don't know if I will renew my policy.

Too Complicated
Embrace claims process was too complicated. I had filed a claim due to my pet after going in for surgery and, of course, I started having issues with the paperwork. All the people of customer care at this company were nice and friendly but still could not make it any less of a hassle. I expect an easier experience; hence, I'm changing my insurance again.

Good but Frustrating
I like the coverage Embrace offers for pets, but the claims process was frustrating. There are a few issues that took it longer than expected to get a response from my claim, so maybe if you can set a better turnaround time and communicate effectively then it should fly off very well.

Lack of Transparency
Embrace does not keep me in the loop of all information with regards to my claim. For instance, after taking my dog to the vet, I had to stay and check with them for information on the claim. The insurance itself appears pretty sound, but communication needs to be much more effective. Overall, I am not highly satisfied.

Unsatisfactory Claims Process
I was not satisfied with how Embrace deals with claims. I had filed a claim for my dog, but it took them weeks to respond, and the letter that they sent me was far from what I had expected. So, after these kinds of service experiences, my option for pet insurance remains open to a reconsideration.

Good Options, Slow Service

Confusing and Lengthy
I found the claims process involving Embrace to be extremely confusing and drawn out. After my pet's medical emergency, I submitted a claim and was met with wholly unnecessary hurdles. I especially felt frustrated by the lack of concise guidance from customer service. I would not know if I have the patience to stay through this experience.

Satisfactory but Not Great
Satisfactory but not Great. I am satisfied with the coverage, but the claims process still needs to be improved. I experience delays and have to follow up on them several times to get my needed information. Hopefully, they will smooth out their operations.

Bad Experience
Disappointing service with Embrace. My dog visited the vet, so I claimed. It took too much time and was complicated. I was not happy with their customer service people who seemed polite but very unhelpful. Not sure this insurance costs that much considering.

Good Coverage, Slow Claims
Embrace offers good cover. It was frustrating dealing with their claim process, though. My experiences were long wait times and mixed-up communication about my claim status. I like the insurance; however, the service offered should be in line with the quality of coverage.

Frustrating Experience
I have the worst experience with Embrace Pet Insurance. My claims for the treatments for my pet were submitted way too long ago, and it took them so long to get back to me. It is a shame that they failed to communicate properly, and I had no idea how my claims were faring. Other pets that I have will probably require other solutions.

Average but Needs Improvement
Average experience with Embrace so far. I like their coverage options, but their claims process was very tiresome and took longer than I expected. I expect to get better service for what I pay monthly. Hope they can make some necessary adjustments.

Policy Not Clear
The policy details are very ambiguous and I faced many miscommunications while working on the claim. Really got irritated with the ambiguity of dealing with it, and I felt misled in the whole process. Unsatisfactory service; switching to some other provider soon.

Good Coverage but Complicated
I like good pet coverage but terrible claims procedures. The number of documents required is a multiple one, and one has to endure long approval processes. Despite the fact that I really love the insurance, process mechanisms need to be much better so that one would enjoy better services with them.

Wonderful Experience
My time with Embrace Pet Insurance has been simply marvelous. I worried much about the cost of my treatment after my dog's surgery. But with the help of Embrace, they covered up a great sum for me and did a lot to help out lots of expenses. The whole process of submitting claims is not even troublesome, as I could do it easily from their website. Also, customers are ready at all times for solving your questions and answering you as you have. I feel comforted knowing that Embrace offers such extensive coverage. I will definitely continue to recommend the Embrace program to other pet owners.

Good Experience Overall

Thorough and Reasonable

Satisfied with the Decision
I was glad to make a decision on Embrace Pet Insurance. Their services are marvelous, and I can get my plan quite comfortably according to my choices. Recently, a claim was raised about my cat's visit to the veterinarian, and they solved the claim very fast without fail, maintaining proper information flow. The only drawback is that customer service takes a very long time to answer on peak hours. Waiting for someone to answer can be so long, but when you get through, the representatives were helpful.
