Very good, although there's room for improvement regarding the time of delivery.
Oranges and grapefruits ordered and were delivered in good shape and taste. Delivery is taking longer than it's supposed to, though; otherwise, all is perfect. Because of fruit quality, it is well worth another try.

Fresh and tasty

Great quality, but a little pricey
The fruit was very fresh and delicious, especially the oranges. But I felt that the prices were a bit on the higher side. If it were not for the premium pricing, I'd give it a five-star rating. Anyway, the quality is worth the price.

Top-quality fruits every time

Generally a disappointing experience
I had pretty high hopes when I ordered with Hale Groves, having heard about their quality. I ordered a gift of a citrus fruit basket, and it did not live up to the hype. The fruit was late in arriving, and when it finally arrived, some of the oranges were soft and overripe, and the grapefruit was underwhelming in flavor. I called their customer service number, and they were really slow, too. They didn't seem to take my problem seriously. That's definitely not what I'm paying for, and with the high prices, one would certainly expect better service and fruits. I was so disappointed, especially because I just wanted to give someone an extra-special present. From my experience with their fruit, then the customer service, I won't be back to reorder at Hale Groves again. I have had better experiences with other fruit delivery services at a better value.

Not the quality I expected
I ordered a box of oranges from Hale Groves, hoping for the premium experience they advertise. However, the fruit I received was far from what I anticipated. Some of the oranges were mushy, while others were too sour, which made it hard to enjoy. To make matters worse, it was clear that the box had been handled improperly in shipping: a few of the oranges were damaged, and the packaging itself wasn't secure. In an attempt to get in contact with customer service, frustratingly enough, it's just too long. This store eventually offered a full refund, but by this time, the experience could not be redeemed. You expect a certain standard when you pay top dollar for something, and unfortunately, Hale Groves didn't. I won't be purchasing from them again and can't recommend them to others.

Extremely disappointed with the service and product
I ordered a fruit basket for my sister's birthday, hoping to impress her with a high-quality gift, as I'd heard great things about Hale Groves. The whole process turned out to be a complete disappointment: first, it was the delayed delivery; second, upon its arrival, the fruit wasn't fresh. Oranges were dry and tasteless, apples overripe and bruised. I felt so embarrassed presenting such a bad gift and, what is more, having paid quite a lot of money. Immediately, I called their customer support, and they seemed to be not really concerned with my complaint. Their response was slow, and the resolution unsatisfactory. I have ordered from other fruit delivery services in the past, and they have always proved to be much more reliable. I will not be reordering from Hale Groves, nor would I advise anyone else to do so if they want quality with good customer service.

Good fruit, but shipping problems
The fruit was of great taste, but the way it was delivered was not smooth. It took longer than stated to arrive, which in itself was annoying. By the time it arrived, some weren't as fresh as I expected. I called the customer service, and by the time they sorted things out, it took long too. Disappointing experience.

Nice fruit, but expensive
The fruit was good, but a bit overpriced. I have tasted equally good fruits at much cheaper rates elsewhere. If you are willing to pay a premium, the fruit is good; otherwise, I don't find it worth the price. Maybe I will order again when there is a sale.

Not great, but not terrible
I ordered oranges and grapefruits. The taste was not bad, but also not to the standards of fresh fruit. Several of the oranges were dry, while the grapefruits tasted a bit bland. For what it cost, I expect better. Next time, I would most likely be trying out different brands.

Underwhelming experience

Could have been better
I had the citrus basket, which was fine?the fruit was OK but not as fresh as I hoped; some of the oranges were mushy, and grapefruits had very little flavor. Delivery came just in good time, but for a product, not to my expectation. Will not try again anytime soon.

The quality of the fruit was good, but it cost me so much to have it shipped that I felt the overall value wasn't as great as I wanted. I get it; they charge delivery, but the cost just felt very excessive considering how expensive the fruits themselves were. Maybe another time, I'll explore other options.

Great quality every time

For a year now, I've ordered several times with Hale Groves, and never had an issue at all. They come in exactly as expected - on time and very fresh and sweet and full of juice. While the fruit was alright, the customer service left much to be desired. I had an issue with my order and had to wait over a week to get a response. And when they finally did reply, it was not helpful. I expect better service from a company at this price point.

Disappointing experience
