While Amur?s team was helpful in answering questions, I feel there was room for improvement. Some of my concerns were not addressed promptly, and I had to follow up multiple times. The service was decent, but I would expect better communication and support.

Not Enough Flexibility

Amur's funding plans are not very flexible enough for my needs. Though the interest rates are competitive, the payout terms weren't appealing enough for me. I had to look around for better options for my business needs.

Confusing Terms

Higher Interest Rates than Expected

While Amur could provide financing, its rates were higher than what I was expecting. I asked for the rates, but I never got a pretty good explanation of the interest rates. Therefore, I was a bit disappointed and not so sure if it was actually worth choosing Amur.

Poor Experience, Too Much Delay

The experience I had with Amur Equipment Finance was more frustrating than I thought it would be. The application process was pretty easy and hassle-free; however, the approval and funding process was full of delays. They said it was a speedy process, but my funds actually took much time to come compared to what I expected. This made me experience some significant delays in acquiring what I urgently needed for my business. It took me some time to get responses as well, and the communication generally would have been much clearer. I know sometimes these things take a little longer, but I was expecting more efficiency because of all their claims. I finally did get the funds, but delays have hindered my business, and hopefully will find them better with timeliness and communication in the future.

Good Service, But Hidden Fees

Initially, I would give Amur Equipment Finance a good grade to secure equipment financing. They have a quick application process, and terms are relatively straightforward. However, when I received the final approval, there were a number of additional fees which were not mentioned during the application process. I had felt quite frustrated and deceived as there is no proper transparency in all these processes. The response from the customer service was slightly dismissive regarding this issue. I would appreciate the fact that the loan really supported my business; however, the surprise fees were something that could not be ignored in that experience. Going forward, I believe they need to enhance more the transparency with which they communicate to make customers fully aware of all the costs associated with it at the onset.

Slow Processing and Confusing Terms

Amur Equipment Finance was such a frustrating and confusing experience throughout the financing process. The application was easy to do, but I thought everything was going to work their way quickly for approval. Unfortunately, the approval process took much longer than anticipated. Several follow-up requests for status updates were made, which were not responded to promptly. Additionally, the terms of financing were not clear at the beginning, and I felt that I was left in the dark until I repeatedly asked for clarification. In the end, the funds came through, but the whole process was unnecessarily drawn out and unclear. I would recommend that Amur improve in both the processing speed and transparency of their terms.

Higher Rates and Slow Response

I signed up with Amur Equipment Finance based on the best rates and reviews, but my experience was a total disappointment. The application process is pretty easy, but the interest rates were way more than expected. It was also quite disappointing after I applied that their customer service response was slow, taking much longer than necessary to get the funding approval. I thought it ought to be faster, more seamless; however, I ended up having to follow up several times to get any responses. While I did get the money, whether or not I'd go to them again-there's the issue of way too high of rates and the non-timely response of communication.

Good Terms but Unclear Communication

Amur Equipment Finance offers pretty good financing options, and their terms are really good, but communication about that was very poor. Only after seeing the contract, the terms of the loan were made known to me, and I was contented with the offered interest rates. Communication during the application and approval process was also not very impressive. I had to follow up several times to get updates of my status, and some of my emails went for days unanswered. This lack of responsiveness made the process stressful, especially when I was waiting on approval for equipment that I needed urgently. While the service was ultimately fine, the poor communication definitely impacted my experience. I hope they address this issue to provide a smoother, more transparent process for future customers.
