Helped with out-of-state move

We were moving from California to Texas and Churchill helped us with everything remotely. Worked around our schedule and made the long-distance part feel way easier.

img 5/5.0 29, Jun 2025

App made things simple

The app was super useful. Could upload docs, see progress, and send messages to my loan officer. A couple bugs at first but customer support fixed them quick.

img 5/5.0 21, Jun 2025

Stayed on top of deadlines

With a fast-moving market, I needed a lender who could keep up. Churchill was quick with preapproval and even faster with underwriting. No missed deadlines, and we closed on schedule.

img 5/5.0 13, Jun 2025

Great communication!

They did notify me every step of the refinance. Had a couple of emails go unanswered, but once I followed up they responded same day. Fee structure was clear and closing was smooth.

img 5/5.0 07, Jun 2025

Solid service overall

Had past mortgage struggles, they helped clean up doc and move forward. LO was honest about timelines. 45 days later, closed smoothly.

img 5/5.0 24, May 2025

Helpful with self-employment

As someone self-employed, I expected a nightmare. They asked for a few years of returns and explained what they needed. Felt more understanding than some banks I tried.

img 5/5.0 12, May 2025

First-time friendly

I was completely new to all of this. They explained terms I?d never heard before. Never made me feel bad for asking ?dumb? questions. That meant a lot.

img 1/5.0 05, May 2025

Poor communication throughout

At first, I thought the process would be smooth. But after submitting all my paperwork, things just stalled. I barely got updates unless I chased them down. My loan officer stopped replying for days. Then they told me my application had to restart because of a clerical mistake. No apology, just delays. It was extremely frustrating and wasted so much of my time. I wouldn?t recommend Churchill unless you have time to follow up constantly.

img 4/5.0 22, Apr 2025

Great support, minor mistakes

Their staff were supportive and answered all my calls, even after hours. Unfortunately a few numbers on my disclosures were incorrect and needed revision, which caused extra emails and time. Once fixed, closing proceeded without issue. Good experience, but double-check your docs because small errors can pop up.

img 5/5.0 18, Apr 2025

Steady guidance

They guided me through every part of the process, from preapproval to closing day. Even when I felt overwhelmed, they kept everything in perspective and didn?t rush anything.

img 2/5.0 06, Apr 2025

Hidden costs and surprise fees

They told me one thing at the beginning and then the numbers completely changed near closing. My closing costs were nearly $3,000 more than what they initially told me, and when I asked why, they just blamed ?standard adjustments.? That?s not okay. I planned my budget around what they quoted. It feels like bait and switch. They should be more upfront about how things can change, not leave you shocked at the end.

img 5/5.0 31, Mar 2025

Smooth investment loan

Bought a second property and Churchill helped with the investment loan. Process was different than my first home but they knew what they were doing. Helped with paperwork I didn?t understand.

img 5/5.0 19, Mar 2025

So helpful for first time

I had zero experience with mortgages. My rep never made me feel dumb for asking things. They explained what escrow was and how insurance fit into my payment. It was a lot, but I felt supported.

img 5/5.0 14, Mar 2025

Fair and honest lender

They never tried to sneak in extra fees or confuse me with fancy terms. Just laid it all out in plain language. That?s all I wanted in a lender.

img 5/5.0 07, Mar 2025

Good for unique credit

They accepted rental and utility payment history so I didn?t need a credit score. Timeline was a bit longer but they were transparent about why. Really appreciated that flexibility.

img 5/5.0 26, Feb 2025

Got us to closing smoothly

We had a tight closing deadline and Churchill worked hard to make it happen. We got updates throughout. Only issue was a small doc missing from the seller?s side, but they handled it quickly.

img 5/5.0 19, Feb 2025

Clear closing timeline

I liked that they gave me a real timeline and stuck to it. A few things came up, but nothing was a surprise. They kept us updated the whole way.

img 5/5.0 12, Feb 2025

Real humans, not just bots

I never felt like I was talking to an automated system. Real people called, emailed, and even followed up after we moved in. That personal touch made a difference.

img 5/5.0 07, Feb 2025

Clear FHA advice

I went FHA and they walked me through the 580 score and 3.5% down. One form was rejected for formatting but rep helped fix it same day. Smooth closing.

img 5/5.0 28, Jan 2025

Very efficient process

From preapproval to closing, it took about 40 days. Pretty smooth considering the market. I liked how organized they were and how they didn?t let anything fall through the cracks.

img 3/5.0 21, Jan 2025

Not bad, but could be better

The interest rate they offered was competitive and that?s why I stuck with them. But the loan process itself felt disorganized. I kept getting emails asking for documents I?d already submitted, and the timelines weren?t always clear. One rep said something and another said the opposite, so that added stress. I don?t think they were trying to mislead me, just not all on the same page. It worked out in the end, just wasn?t as smooth as I hoped for.

img 5/5.0 16, Jan 2025

App worked great

Used mobile app start to finish. A minor glitch uploading dd214 but support handled it. Felt legit high tech for mortgage.

img 5/5.0 10, Jan 2025

VA loan made simple

I?ve used VA loans before and sometimes they drag, but this was smooth. They handled the funding fee stuff and made sure I didn?t overpay. Felt respected as a veteran.

img 5/5.0 06, Jan 2025

Solid refinance experience

The refinance process was clear. I used their app to upload docs, got notifications when things moved. Had to resend a missing pay stub once, but that was on me. All else went fine.

img 5/5.0 26, Dec 2024

Honest answers always

Even when I asked the same thing twice, they stayed patient. It?s hard trusting lenders, but Churchill was open about costs and rates. I liked that they didn?t avoid hard questions.

img 5/5.0 23, Dec 2024

Felt very personal

This wasn?t a call center vibe. I had the same person through most of the process and felt like they really knew my situation. That made a big difference.

img 5/5.0 14, Dec 2024

Transparent closing costs

They broke down closing costs clearly. Nothing hidden. I had a question mid?process and LO called me instead of email. That personal touch was nice.

img 5/5.0 04, Dec 2024

They took care of me

As a single mom, I was nervous about getting a mortgage. Churchill treated me with respect and never made me feel like I didn?t belong in the process. It meant a lot.

img 5/5.0 20, Nov 2024

Refinance was easy

We refinanced our home and it actually went smoother than I expected. We shaved off a good chunk on our rate. They even helped us figure out how long it?d take to break even.

img 4/5.0 12, Nov 2024

Solid process, slight confusions

They helped me compare conventional vs jumbo loan well. I did get confused by a couple of closing cost terms and had to ask for clarification twice. Once that was cleared, things moved smoothly. No hidden fees, everything matched their initial figures. Communication was decent, though sometimes I had to reach out first.

img 5/5.0 09, Nov 2024

Responded outside business hours

I messaged on weekend and my LO responded next day. That was helpful cause i had a question about escrow. Felt like they cared.

img 4/5.0 24, Oct 2024

Helpful but not perfect tech

The Churchill app dashboard was handy for tracking status and messages. Few times alerts didn?t show up, so I missed requests until I logged in manually. After contacting support, things corrected quickly. Closing went smooth. A bit more polish on tech side and it?d be excellent.

img 3/5.0 20, Oct 2024

Decent team, tech was buggy

The team was mostly polite and tried to answer all my questions. However, their online portal glitched multiple times while uploading documents and signing papers. I had to re-upload the same stuff a few times which got frustrating. They did close the loan in the end, but I felt like I had to babysit the process a little more than I wanted. For such a big decision, I expected a more seamless experience. Not bad people, but needs smoother systems.

img 5/5.0 14, Oct 2024

Helpful loan officer

My LO even talked to seller?s agent to reassure them about financing. That helped my offer stand out. They also helped explain closing costs clearly. Happily moved in on time.

img 4/5.0 08, Oct 2024

Clear communication, slight wait

Their weekly updates kept me feeling connected. We did have a small hiccup when VA funding paperwork needed resubmission, which cost us a few days. However my loan officer was prompt in resolving it. Rate felt fair too. Not perfect, but overall I felt they cared and I got decent support.

img 5/5.0 21, Sep 2024

Perfect for busy buyers

I work odd hours and appreciated how they?d email updates and let me sign stuff online. Kept everything moving without needing to be on constant phone calls. Really efficient.

img 5/5.0 16, Sep 2024

Helped us win the offer

The seller told our agent that Churchill?s name gave them confidence. We used their certified buyer letter, and it worked. Felt like it helped us beat other offers.

img 5/5.0 07, Sep 2024

VA refinancing easy

Refi with VA loan. They handled funding fee and paperwork adeptly. Loan closed in under 45 days. Didn?t expect so quick.

img 3/5.0 05, Sep 2024

So-so experience overall

They helped me get a loan, but it wasn?t without issues. Took them a while to explain some parts of the closing costs and I didn?t always get prompt answers to my questions. The loan officer was friendly but didn?t seem fully prepared a couple of times. Also had to resend a few documents which slowed things down. Overall, it wasn?t a nightmare, but it also didn?t feel super organized. Would consider them again only if I didn?t have better options.

img 5/5.0 26, Aug 2024

Transparent every step

Everything was laid out clearly. They told me when we locked the rate and what to expect next. Never had to guess what was going on. Final number matched the estimate they gave me earlier.

img 3/5.0 20, Aug 2024

Okay experience but needs better coordination

The loan got approved eventually but it took way longer than expected. I had to follow up several times just to get basic updates. Some paperwork got lost in the process which delayed the closing by a few days. The loan officer was nice but not always available when needed. I expected more efficiency given how stressful the home buying process already is. Not the worst experience, but definitely not smooth either. Wouldn?t be my first pick next time.

img 5/5.0 09, Aug 2024

Not pushy at all

They gave us time to think things over and didn?t flood us with calls. I appreciated the space. They were always available when we were ready to move forward.

img 1/5.0 04, Aug 2024

No accountability for delays

My home loan took way longer than promised. They kept saying underwriting was backed up, but I never got clear answers. Nobody owned up to the delay. I had to extend my lease and lost money because of their mistakes. Customer service was polite but gave me nothing helpful. It felt like nobody was really in charge. You shouldn?t have to babysit your loan officer just to get basic updates. Really disappointing experience overall.

img 5/5.0 31, Jul 2024

Clear rate explanation

The way they explained fixed vs. adjustable rate was great. Helped me pick what made sense long-term, not just lowest monthly. Didn?t try to sell me something just to close fast.

img 5/5.0 20, Jul 2024

Solid for rural loan

Used them for a USDA loan. Not all lenders know those well but Churchill did. They walked us through everything and got us into our home on time.

img 4/5.0 10, Jul 2024

Smooth but small delay

Churchill Mortgage was really helpful when I refinanced. My LO explained closing costs well, and the appraisal was done fast. We did have a minor delay when my documents got lost in the portal, but customer service responded within a day. Overall the process was fair and calm. Just wish the portal was more intuitive.

img 3/5.0 04, Jul 2024

Decent rates, but inconsistent support

Started out great with clear communication and helpful guidance, but halfway through the process, I had to deal with a different rep and things got confusing. There was a disconnect between departments and I found myself repeating details over and over. The app was helpful but had issues syncing some documents. I wouldn?t say the service was terrible, just uneven. If they streamlined communication and trained their staff more consistently, it would?ve made a big difference in my experience.

img 2/5.0 24, Jun 2024

Inexperienced staff caused delays

My loan officer seemed really inexperienced. They weren?t clear on requirements and gave me wrong information about my loan type. Every time I asked for clarification, I got different answers. That caused my approval to be delayed, and it almost cost me the deal. This is the biggest financial step I?ve taken, and they treated it like some casual task. I wish I went with someone who actually knew what they were doing.

img 5/5.0 17, Jun 2024

Loved the no-score approach

I don?t use credit cards so I had no score. I liked that Churchill still gave me a chance. They asked for rent and utility history and helped build my file. Very fair process.

img 5/5.0 05, Jun 2024

Easy lock rate option

Loved the 90?day rate secured program while i searched for my home. It saved me worry about rate hikes. Some small paperwork back and forth but LO was on top of it.

img 4/5.0 01, Jun 2024

Good but minor communication gap

I was happy with their breakdown of costs and options for FHA loan. LO was pleasant. But at one point no one replied to my email for two business days, which made me worry we were stuck. Soon after I called and got everything moving. Overall still a good experience, just occasional lag in communication.

img 1/5.0 30, May 2024

Waste of time and energy

I tried using Churchill for a home loan and it turned into a nightmare. They kept promising we?d close on time, but then asked for more documents week after week. Each time it was ?just one more thing.? Then suddenly they said I didn?t qualify anymore because of a rule they didn?t mention before. Why didn?t they check this stuff earlier? They gave me false hope for weeks. Very disappointed and honestly feel misled.

img 5/5.0 21, May 2024

Support even after closing

Even after we signed, they followed up to make sure we had everything for tax season and homestead stuff. I thought the service ended there, but they kept helping.

img 5/5.0 14, May 2024

Consistent updates

Every Friday i got status email. Didn?t feel lost. Couple missing docs but LO flagged fast. Closing day arrived without issues.

img 5/5.0 02, May 2024

Made refinancing simple

This was my second home but first refinance. They explained the process clearly and even helped figure out the best time to lock a rate. Closed on time.

img 5/5.0 26, Apr 2024

Helped clean up my file

There were some errors on my initial documents and I panicked, but my LO helped correct them fast. He made a stressful moment manageable. Got us back on track quick.

img 5/5.0 14, Apr 2024

Closed early!

Our closing date got bumped earlier thanks to how fast Churchill moved. Got the keys a few days ahead of schedule. That flexibility made move-in smoother.

img 5/5.0 14, Apr 2024

Quick & helpful process

They guided me through a VA loan step by step. Their rep was very clear on what docs needed and never made me feel rushed. It wasn?t perfect, took a few calls to clarify a late fee, but overall they stayed patient and supportive.

img 5/5.0 05, Apr 2024

Very detail-oriented

My loan advisor caught a mistake on my credit report that even I missed. Helped me fix it before it caused an issue. Super thorough and professional.

img 5/5.0 30, Mar 2024

Good use of preapproval

Their Certified Home Buyer preapproval gave confidence for seller. LO did underwriting ahead of time so when we found house it moved quick. Small hiccup on appraisal but resolved fast.

img 5/5.0 17, Mar 2024

Quick VA loan process

I used my VA benefit and the team at Churchill knew exactly how to handle it. They got everything right the first time. Closed quicker than I expected.

img 5/5.0 12, Mar 2024

Excellent refinance support

We lowered our rate and cashed out some equity for home repairs. They explained the tax parts clearly and helped us weigh options. Super thankful for the extra guidance.

img 5/5.0 03, Mar 2024

Good VA loan support

Served active duty so VA loan was free?down. They gave clear guidance on entitlements and looked after me. A couple email delays but followups came.

img 5/5.0 25, Feb 2024

Impressed with follow-up

What stood out to me was their follow-up. After we closed, they still answered my emails when I had escrow questions. Not many companies keep helping after the deal is done.

img 5/5.0 19, Feb 2024

Smart use of technology

The online portal made it easy to keep track of everything. Uploaded documents in a few clicks. Only once had an issue with a file not saving, but customer service fixed it fast.

img 5/5.0 09, Feb 2024

Smooth USDA loan

They handled USDA documentation well. A couple additional forms needed but LO flagged early. Close happened in 40 days which i thought was quick.

img 5/5.0 01, Feb 2024

Real customer care

I felt like more than just another loan. They remembered details from past conversations and actually followed up to check how the move went. Very thoughtful.

img 5/5.0 27, Jan 2024

No pressure advice

They never pushed highest priced option. Explained pros/cons of conventional vs FHA. Felt honest and wise.

img 5/5.0 18, Jan 2024

Well-organized from day one

Right from the beginning, the process was organized. I knew who to contact and when. Uploading docs was easy. I never felt confused or unsure about where we were in the process.

img 5/5.0 13, Jan 2024

Patient and supportive

I had lots of questions about jumbo vs conventional. My specialist took time to explain differences and thought about my future. It wasn?t rushed or pushy.

img 5/5.0 01, Jan 2024

Trusted advice

They told me I didn?t need to borrow the full preapproval amount, which surprised me. Most lenders push for bigger loans. That advice probably saved me a lot in the long run.

img 5/5.0 29, Dec 2023

Transparent fee estimate

They told me about 2?5% closing costs early on. My final was about 3.5% which was ok. No hidden surprises. A couple email delays but not a big deal.

img 5/5.0 19, Dec 2023

Explained the fees well

Breakdown of fees was very clear. Nothing was hidden or unexpected. They walked us through each part of the estimate and final settlement. Felt very upfront and fair.

img 5/5.0 11, Dec 2023

Rate lock was perfect

We locked our rate right before rates jumped. Churchill let us hold it for a good length of time while we kept shopping. That ended up saving us long-term.

img 5/5.0 07, Dec 2023

Quick communication

Every email got a reply within a day, sometimes within hours. I had a lot of questions about property taxes and they walked me through how it?s handled in escrow.

img 5/5.0 30, Nov 2023

Made first-time homebuying manageable

I?m first-time buyer and didn?t know mortgage terms. They explained FHA vs conventional and helped me choose a plan. Few small delays in processing but my LO checked in and gave good reassurance.

img 5/5.0 21, Nov 2023

Manual underwriting clarity

No?score loan manual underwriting was explained well. They needed utility history and LO explained why. Took 65 days but i knew exactly what to expect.

img 5/5.0 14, Nov 2023

Friendly, not pushy

Loan officer was super friendly but never pushed me into anything. They laid out options and let me decide. Gave me time to think without pressure.

img 5/5.0 06, Nov 2023

Appraisal delay handled well

Our appraisal took longer than expected, but Churchill kept the seller in the loop and made sure we didn?t lose the deal. I appreciated how they stayed calm and professional.

img 5/5.0 01, Nov 2023

Easy to trust

From the start, Churchill felt trustworthy. They didn?t talk over my head or pressure me. I always felt like I was making informed decisions. Really appreciate how calm they were even when I had doubts.

img 5/5.0 31, Oct 2023

Very clear loan options

They offered a few loan options and clearly broke down each one. I ended up choosing a 15-year option with no PMI. They weren?t pushy. Made me feel like I was part of the decision.

img 5/5.0 23, Oct 2023

Knowledgeable and kind

Every person I spoke with was knowledgeable but also patient. Didn?t rush me through explanations. I had no clue what underwriting meant, but they took time to break it all down.

img 5/5.0 16, Oct 2023

Loved the weekly updates

They emailed every week with an update even if there wasn?t anything new. That consistency helped a lot and made me feel less anxious during waiting periods.

img 5/5.0 10, Oct 2023

VA refinance done right

Churchill handled my VA streamline refinance smoothly. It was faster than I expected, and the new rate is saving me quite a bit. Very efficient and helpful team.

img 5/5.0 06, Oct 2023

Efficient conventional loan

Applied conventional loan with 20% down, no PMI. Took 35 days from apply to close. A few doc lags but LO would remind me gently. Overall it was seamless.

img 5/5.0 25, Sep 2023

Great jumbo loan experience

Used jumbo loan over conforming limit. Interest rate was a bit higher but they explained why. Appraisal took longer but LO kept in touch. Happy with result.

img 4/5.0 19, Sep 2023

Fair rates, paperwork slow

They offered me a competitive rate and explained differences plainly. However, document processing took longer than I was led to expect?mostly due to a backlog in underwriting. I got updates but felt waiting. Loan closed fine, just would?ve liked clearer timeline at start.

img 5/5.0 14, Sep 2023

Good rate alert feature

Used their Rate Watch alerts, got notified when rate dipped. I locked at right moment. Worth signing up early.

img 5/5.0 07, Sep 2023

Gave us confidence

Even when we had doubts, our loan advisor reassured us with real info, not sales lines. That kind of honest communication is rare. We trusted them from beginning to end.

img 5/5.0 27, Aug 2023

Kind and responsive staff

Every time I had a question, someone was there to answer. Felt like I wasn?t just a number. Few delays near closing but they explained what was happening. Got everything done in time.

img 5/5.0 18, Aug 2023

No surprises at closing

Everything lined up at closing just like they said. I?ve heard horror stories from friends, but my final paperwork matched the original estimates closely. Big relief.

img 5/5.0 14, Aug 2023

Low stress closing

Closing day felt easy. Everything was explained, no surprises. I?d heard horror stories about last-minute issues, but we didn?t run into any. They were ready with every document.

img 5/5.0 07, Aug 2023

Friendly app support

Churchill's app worked well ? doc upload was intuitive. A couple bugs with the file types but support team fixed quickly. Overall process less stressful than past lenders.

img 5/5.0 01, Aug 2023

Straightforward and reliable

I needed a lender who would be honest and keep things simple. Churchill was that. No runaround. The rate they quoted me was the rate I got. No last minute surprises.

img 3/5.0 29, Jul 2023

Slow processing hurt timeline

I applied early thinking I'd close in under 30 days, but it stretched out to 50. The main issue was slow document reviews and underwriting delays. I had all my stuff ready, but their side took too long. Communication wasn?t bad, just not proactive. I don?t mind being patient, but wish they were more upfront about realistic timelines. I still closed eventually, but lost a bit of confidence in how things were managed overall. Hope they improve response time going forward.

img 5/5.0 25, Jul 2023

Calm during market craziness

During a stressful housing market, Churchill stayed calm and focused. Other buyers I knew had issues with lenders, but we had a steady process all the way through.

img 1/5.0 23, Jul 2023

Totally mismanaged process

My experience with Churchill was full of stress. They constantly asked for documents I already submitted and then blamed delays on me. I had to call multiple times just to get simple updates. Underwriting dragged on forever and nobody gave me a straight answer. Even the rate I was quoted changed at closing which they said was ?normal.? Nothing about this felt professional. I honestly regret choosing them and wouldn?t use again. Not worth the stress.

img 4/5.0 16, Jul 2023

Transparent but slow

Churchill gave me a full estimate early on, which was great. My 30-year fixed rate was explained well. The downside was underwriting took longer than I expected?almost 50 days total. They kept me updated, just slow. In the end I got the loan I wanted and no surprises at closing. I?d use them again but would ask more about timelines up front.

img 5/5.0 08, Jul 2023

Honest communication

Churchill always told me what was going on, even when something took longer. I didn?t feel like I was being left in the dark. That kind of honesty is rare now.

img 4/5.0 01, Jul 2023

Good guidance, minor hiccup

They helped guide me through a USDA loan and explained all the eligibility. I did wait longer than expected for underwriter questions, about a week. Once that cleared up everything moved smoothly. I felt informed at each stage, but that pause did make me anxious. Still good service, just more patience needed on my end.

img 5/5.0 26, Jun 2023

Helpful with credit questions

Had questions on credit score effect. LO answered patiently and gave tips. Hard inquiry did show but they said it?s normal.

img 5/5.0 20, Jun 2023

Great for budget planning

They explained how much to budget beyond the down payment, like taxes, insurance, escrow, etc. That level of detail saved us from some surprises. Felt like they wanted us to succeed.

img 5/5.0 15, Jun 2023

Good rate buydown guidance

They explained the Rate Relief buydown and how seller could pay it. It saved me a fair bit those first 2 years. Not pushy, just clear options.

img 3/5.0 10, Jun 2023

Good start, rocky finish

Everything started off well and I liked how they explained the pre-approval process. But once things moved into underwriting, it got stressful. The closing date kept changing and I couldn?t get clear answers. I had to get my realtor involved just to get movement. They finally got it done, but it felt like I had to push too hard to make it happen. Not a disaster, but I expected a bit more professionalism and organization from a lender this size.

img 5/5.0 04, Jun 2023

Communication was awesome

Calls, emails, texts?whatever worked for me, they used it. Didn?t feel ignored or forgotten at any point. Their loan officer even called after hours once to answer a concern.

img 5/5.0 01, Jun 2023

Understood my priorities

I told them I wanted to keep my monthly payment low, and they made that happen without pushing risky terms. Felt like they were really listening, not just selling.

img 5/5.0 24, May 2023

Flexible and understanding

Had a family emergency during closing week, and Churchill worked with me on new dates. They didn?t pressure me, just helped find a solution. That meant a lot.

img 5/5.0 11, May 2023

No-score loan success

I didnt have much credit history so I applied under no?score program. Was worried it?d take forever but my LO was honest about timeline. They manual underwrite but i got approved in just over 60 days. Worth the wait.

img 4/5.0 06, May 2023

Informative but needed prodding

Churchill Mortgage gave me detailed breakdown of refinance options. I appreciated their approach. Admittedly I had to check in mid-process because updates slowed down after appraisal. Once I nudged them, they responded quickly. I?d prefer more proactive updates. Otherwise loan closed fine.

img 4/5.0 01, May 2023

Helpful but app glitchy

I liked the way they explained rate options clearly. App upload was convenient, although I ran into a couple glitches when attaching PDF files. Support helped me fix that same day, but it added stress. Closing was set up fine after that. Team was friendly and not pushy, but tech needs polishing.

img 1/5.0 25, Apr 2023

Very unorganized and slow

From the beginning, nothing went right. The portal was buggy, and I had to upload the same documents multiple times. Every time I asked what was next, I got vague responses. My appraisal got delayed and nobody even told me until I called them. The closing date got pushed twice and almost cost me my contract. I expected a professional service, but this felt like a mess. Would not trust them with something this important again.

img 5/5.0 21, Apr 2023

Helped us understand costs

They broke down all the fees clearly. No hidden stuff at the end. I had a spreadsheet and they walked through it with me line by line.

Supportive during construction

I got a construction?to?permanent loan. Took more time for draws and inspections but LO kept me updated at each stage. Appreciate the patience.

Respectful and informative

I liked how respectful the team was during the process. They didn?t assume I knew everything and actually took time explaining every step. Some paperwork confused me at first but my advisor walked me through it. Made me feel less overwhelmed as a first-timer.

Veteran friendly, slight delay

I used a VA loan and Churchill was knowledgeable about benefits. The funding fee details were clear. Though closing was delayed a few days due to VA office timing, they kept me informed. I?d give 5 stars if the VA turnaround had been faster. Still solid overall.
