After we submitted our design, we didn't receive a response for several days, and had to call and email several times to finally receive a response. When the finished product arrived, the colors were incorrect and didn't match the proof that had been approved. We contacted customer service, who recognized the problem but provided no tangible solution beyond general apologies. It seemed like we were bounced around from one rep to another with no one taking responsibility. The turnaround time also took much longer than anticipated, causing delays in implementing our new menu presentation. Although the quality of the paper itself was satisfactory, the variability of service and the failure of the reps to actively assist left the whole process aggravating. We were expecting much due to previous reviews, but sadly, the firm did not provide the level of professionalism and dependability we were expecting.

Additionally, the paper?s texture was rougher than expected, and it didn?t perform well under moist foods?it bled through and weakened quickly. In a competitive food market, branding is important, and this product did not provide the quality or presentation we required. It's doubtful we'll be ordering again based on this experience.

Our shipment of wax papers came in damaged. The corners were flattened, and part of the paper roll was wrinkled and useless. It was clearly mishandled in transit, but worse still was the way the company responded. When informed, they informed us it was not their problem once the package had left their plant. No replacement of the damaged section was offered or even a partial credit. For a product that's going to be presented and branded, the state when it arrives is just extremely critical. Having to sort through and salvage whatever we could wasn't in the plans. The quality of the product would have been fine if it hadn't been so compromised, but the lack of support was what made it worse. Packaging should arrive safely and be in a ready-to-use condition?not something we have to check sheet by sheet. We found ourselves doubting future orders placed with this organization.

The wax paper was professionally designed and made a solid first impression?until we actually used it. It had no resistance to moisture whatsoever. Sandwiches wrapped in it began to leak in minutes, and the ink bled. We utilize biodegradable trays and required wax paper that would resist heat and sauces without disintegrating. This product did not fulfill that requirement. We even tried it out with a few items ahead of time, and the paper curled and deteriorated rapidly. When we contacted the company to inquire if there was a higher grade or more resilient version, we got a boilerplate response sending us back to the website. It seemed like they weren't interested in assisting us in finding a better solution for our use case. Before ordering, communication was quick and cordial. Once payment had been made and the order was in production, however, service quality plummeted. It required repeated follow-up requests to receive basic updates, and responses took several days. Upon receiving our order, we also found that around 10% of the sheets contained printing mistakes?missing lines, colors running, and a few logo pieces barely readable. We had sent in constructive feedback with pictures, but the only response they gave was a canned message saying that the position was deemed closed. It seemed there was no interest in after-sales customer satisfaction. A reputable vendor would at least be willing to communicate when there was an issue. This was not a cost-cutting measure, and we would have appreciated a more mature response. While the concept of specialty wax paper is good, the execution here was woefully lacking.

Design Looked Good But Didn't Last
The personalized wax paper came in a bright pattern that we were first pleased with. Unfortunately, after only a few uses, we found that the ink would smudge under damp conditions, and the paper itself softened and creased. This made for a less-than-ideal experience for not only our kitchen staff, but also customers who had to accept their food in subpar packaging. Presentation matters to us, but functionality matters more, and the wax paper failed in that regard. The ink transfer was also a food safety issue with hot foods. Customer service indicated that this occurs with any wax paper, which didn't sound like a reasonable response. We followed storage guidelines to the letter, so the fault cannot be placed elsewhere. In the end, we were forced to utilize a different supplier after only half the order was utilized. Disappointed with the non-durability and lack of practical testing.

Production Errors Not Acknowledged
All through the ordering process appeared to be in order until we got the product. One third of our order had gross printing flaws?sideways alignment, ink blots, and irregular spacing. These were not cosmetic flaws, but serious enough that we could not use those pages for any of our food packaging. We informed the company using photo proof, hoping for a reprint or partial refund at least. To our astonishment, the team refuted the problem, claiming that their in-house quality check had certified the batch. It seemed that they cared more about defending their process than considering genuine customer complaints. Even a credit for the next order was not given. It's irritating to work with a company that shifts the burden back to the customer following an evident production error. Everyone makes mistakes in any business, but the unwillingness to correct it actually turned us off. We will not be ordering a second time here.

We chose the "grease-resistant and durable" version, figuring it would suffice for our fried menu items. It did not. The finished product appeared different enough from the accepted proof that it raised instant alarm. The colors were a few shades darker, and the logo was tilted ever so slightly that wasn't the case in the digital mockup. These types of changes shouldn't occur between proofing and printing, much less when we were assured that the sample indicated the final product. We took the time to get the design just as we desired it, only to be sent something that did not match. We tried to sort out the discrepancy with nebulous responses regarding "print variation," but this was more than just slight variation?it was plainly not what was indicated and agreed on. Quality control could have identified this, so it would've been addressed prior to shipping. As it turned out, the paper was not suitable for our planned launch. It's frustrating when detail is assured but lacking, particularly in a brand product such as this.

Though the wax paper appeared crisp and consistent with our brand when we first got it, the functionality proved to be disappointing. Looks Better Online Than In Person
The images and samples on the site created the impression of high-quality wax papers that looked good. Up close, however, the product seemed much more generic. The colors were dull, and the paper itself was not as thick as we anticipated. We chose the thicker variety, thinking that it would be strong enough to handle hot, greasy food. Unfortunately, it hardly made it through service. A few of the sheets ripped while being wrapped, and others started to absorb water after a few hours. Presentation was compromised, and we had to place trays underneath in order to prevent food leakage. Although the company's initial response was timely, there was little assistance after the product was shipped. Concerns were dismissed with generic responses. The wax paper works well enough for cold, dry products, but it certainly didn't live up to the standards we required. It's a good-looking product, but the functionality isn't there for serious food service.
