Disappointed with Communication
My experience with TGS Insurance has been disappointing because of the lack of effective communication. When I tried to clarify some details regarding my policy, I was passed on multiple times and each representative seemed uninformed. It was frustrating to feel that no one could answer my questions clearly. After spending hours on the phone, I still couldn't get a clear answer. Besides, it took me too long to get really important updates regarding my policy. This lack of communication has given me mixed feelings about the reliability of their service. I expected more proactive support and felt as if I was doing all the follow-ups myself. Despite choosing them for competitive rates, I now fear that this might reflect the level of support I'd get in case of a claim filing.

Claims Procedure Very Frustrating
Issues I faced with TGS Insurance on the claim procedure was that it was pretty complicated and long. It has taken quite a while to settle my claim when my car got damaged during an accident, and even fewer updates were provided. Those people that I kept in touch with were not very familiar with my case; thus, I have to keep repeating explanations over and over. Knowing that claims may take a rather long period, I could not appreciate the unclear reports and the long time taken to respond to my claim, which really made me question why I chose TGS. I appreciated the fact that it offered affordable prices, but, at the actual support stage, I felt very let down. A much smoother, quicker claims procedure with periodic updates would have made a difference, and now, I am questioning whether low rates are worth it.

Poor Policies
TGS Insurance has pretty good premiums, but it is quite hazy when a client is being presented with these policy terms. I personally had a lot of questions about what was covered, and after having inquiries, no response eventually came through. At times, I even begin to feel if there would be someone at my beckon call in case of an emergency. The services would better be improved if such aspects are taken care of through increased transparency and prompt response.

Not follow through
I was pleased with TGS at first, though did have to adjust my policy a couple of times, and they very laxly had their customer service person follow through. It was more like chasing to get updates. Good price; though not recommendable due to hassle with their support.

It was a process to renew my TGS policy. I thought it would be an easy process, but it took multiple calls to get sorted out. They need a better approach to renewals. Their prices are great, but what a hassle to renew - maybe a reason to not stay there in the long run.

Peace of Mind with Exceptional Service

Disappointed in Care Received in Emergency Services
I had higher expectations from TGS since I was approaching them for the damage done to my property in the storm. Well, it was quite a disappointment with regards to the service received. It took a long time getting in touch with somebody. Some days passed without getting any information about how it is going. It was really a slow claims process and I did not get proper timelines about the steps involved in this process of claims. There were several different representatives who did not even know everything that was going on. I had to explain everything multiple times, which indeed frustrated me. I do know claims can be pretty complex. I was still expecting more guidance and support at an hour when it mattered. And, of course, the experience only goes to further damage the trust I had for TGS, such that I wouldn't feel confident in referring others under similar situations.

Tedious Paperwork and Delays
I have recently filed with TGS Insurance, and the experience was not smooth sailing. The amount of paperwork felt too much, and every step, it would be delayed for some reason. Every time I called into the customer service, I felt like being left in limbo, so I was always promised callbacks which never occurred. From the onset of my work on this account, it was stressful and frustrating. I had chosen TGS for competitive rates, but the inefficiency of this process has gotten me to reconsider my decision. A better system and better organization would make a huge difference in the support system of this company. Low rate is not enough to compensate for the lack of efficiency at this point of my experience.

I contacted TGS with questions on my policy, and slow response time was something to be desired. It took multiple attempts getting them an answer, which isn't ideal. Chose them for the good rates, but hope that they may improve on customer service to provide assistance quicker when needed.

Unclarity Claim Process
To submit a claim with TGS Insurance proved to be very much more complicated than I thought it would be. The steps involved are not as clear, and in fact had to ring them several times to clarify the same. It will all get sorted eventually, but it would be much better if they made the process a bit clearer and less protracted.

Reliable Service and Smooth Claims
I've only just changed to TGS Insurance, and they made the claim process surprisingly easy. Really fast response, and I was surprised how easy the whole thing was. Bad Follow-up
I need a change in my policy. TGS never called back as they promised. I had to call them a few times just to confirm the adjustment was made on my policy. They have decent good rates, but their customer service is very weak. I will be more than happy with a company that improves to keep up with people's calls and communicates clearly.

Policy Information Hard to Find
It has been more difficult than I thought to find my policy information with TGS. I had no luck finding exactly what I was looking for on their website and then made the call. After getting the customer service representative, he was actually great but the system could be much better organized. I expect they will do some things on their website so it is easier to find what you need.

Very Supportive organization

Overcharged and Poorly Managed
Disappointment with the billing and account management at TGS Insurance. Unsettling charges on my account, which customer service could not understand or clarify. I have called numerous times, and each time, I was promised that someone would research this matter, but by the next day, no call. One time, I waited on the line for over an hour just to reach someone. Reason I chose TGS was because of the GREAT price, one of the major pull factors. However, poor organization and very little effort at following through on issues makes me really regret this choice. Not sure what I was expecting from much better communication and handling of account issues. But the low price does not outweigh being screwed by a company for poor customer service you can rely on. I will be looking for options.

Friendly and Efficient Claims Process

Disorganized and Unresponsive
I'm not happy with TGS, as they were very disorganized and did not follow up on tasks given me. I recently tried to update a simple policy, but that took an age. Every time I called, I explained my situation all over again, and the feeling of urgency with which their team responded was missing. They said they would call me back many times. However, days went by until I heard nothing from them. In addition to all that, I could not get my account details online, and the customer support was unable to help me with concrete steps. The rate is indeed competitive, but the headache of having to deal with these issues is not worth it. I should have expected better communication and smoother service from an insurance provider. My confidence in the ability to handle more significant claims is shaken, and I might take my business elsewhere.
