Clean Website, Simple Checkout

Their website is clean and easy to navigate. Placing an order took less than five minutes, and I received updates at each step. The packaging looks premium and keeps the beans in perfect condition. Coffee arrived within four days. Enjoyed the Brazil roast?it had nutty tones and worked well for espresso.

Sampler Pack Is Worth Trying

For anyone new to Django, the sampler is a great choice. Three unique roasts with different flavor profiles. No duds in the bunch.

Coffee Was Good, Packaging Wasn?t

I was excited to try Django after hearing about them on social media. Ordered two bags?the Honduras and Peru roasts. When they arrived, the coffee was great, but the packaging wasn?t sealed properly. One bag had a small tear near the seal and the other one was puffed up with air. While the coffee still tasted fine, it?s a little concerning when you?re spending that much on fresh beans. Reached out to let them know and got a short reply saying they?d ?look into it.? No apology or replacement. For a company that seems to pride itself on presentation and quality, this was disappointing. The experience made me second guess ordering again. Hopefully they?re just working through growing pains. I?d be open to trying them again in the future if things improve.

Nice Variety of Origins

Appreciate the range of beans from different countries. The El Salvador roast had a rich aroma and pleasant aftertaste. Always something new to explore in each order.

Beautiful Beans, Excellent Service

From start to finish, the ordering process was smooth. I picked up a few single-origin roasts and each one was distinct and full of character. The Ethiopia was light and floral, the Brazil had that nutty, rich body I love. It?s hard to find consistency across multiple origins, but Django nails it. Their packaging is smart and eco-friendly. The resealable bags make storage easy and keep the beans fresh. Customer service replied within a few hours when I had a question about grind size. They even included a thank-you note in the box. Their website is easy to navigate, and I love the coffee subscription option?it?s flexible and affordable. If you're a home barista or just want great beans without the big-brand feel, Django?s the way to go. So glad I came across them. It's clear they roast with care and deliver with heart.

Bright and Balanced Flavor Profile

Really loved the Rwanda roast?bright acidity with hints of red berries and a smooth finish. Brewed it in a V60 and got excellent clarity in the cup. The bag was beautifully designed and arrived sealed and fresh. Ordering was easy and shipping was faster than expected. I?ll definitely be trying more single-origin options from them soon.

Could Improve Shipping Speed

The beans were fresh and flavorful, but shipping took a full week. Might not be ideal for last-minute gifts. Still, good quality once it arrived.

Good Beans, Weak Packaging

The beans were decent, but the packaging wasn?t sealed properly. One bag arrived puffed up with air. Not what I expected for the price.

Loved the Coffee, Some Site Bugs

The coffee from Django was great?the Guatemala roast had a buttery mouthfeel and light citrus edge that made it super drinkable. The beans were fresh and evenly roasted. I brewed it in a Clever dripper and had great results. One thing I noticed, though: the website froze a couple of times during checkout. Took me three tries to get the payment through. It?s a minor frustration, but worth mentioning. Once the order was in, everything else went smoothly. Shipping was fast and tracking info arrived on time. The handwritten thank-you note was a lovely gesture. If they work out the tech kinks, this would be an easy five-star experience. Still, the coffee alone makes it worth returning. Looking forward to trying their Peru roast next time. A lot of promise here for a growing brand.

Wrong Item Sent

Ordered a sampler and got two of the same bag instead. Tried emailing, no reply for days. Not a great first impression.

Great Gift for Coffee Lovers

Bought a few bags for a friend?s birthday and Django didn?t disappoint. The packaging was attractive, and the coffee itself was delicious (according to my very picky friend). It arrived on time, which made gift-giving a lot easier. Planning to order again for myself next time?they?ve earned a repeat customer for sure.

Roasts Taste Really Fresh

You can tell these beans were roasted recently. The aroma when opening the bag was incredible. Made the mornings feel more special.

img 3/5.0 30, Dec 2024

Slow Processing Time

It took several days just to ship. The beans were fine, but I wish the turnaround time was faster. Felt a bit disorganised.

img 5/5.0 18, Dec 2024

Coffee with Character

The flavor profile is more interesting than typical store-bought beans. Lots of depth in the Kenya roast. These folks know what they?re doing.

img 3/5.0 27, Oct 2024

Tastes Fine, but Overpriced

Flavor was solid but didn?t feel premium enough to justify the cost. Other roasters offer similar quality for a bit less.

img 4/5.0 17, Sep 2024

Well-Roasted and True to Profile

Tried their Guatemala roast and it was exactly what the tasting notes described?milk chocolate, citrus, and medium body. It?s clear they roast with attention to detail. Brewed in a Clever dripper, and the flavor opened up nicely. The roast date was only 3 days old, which makes a big difference.

img 4/5.0 04, Sep 2024

Easy to Brew, Great Flavor

Used the Colombia roast in a Chemex and French press. Both methods turned out excellent results. Nice balance of body and acidity.

img 4/5.0 29, Aug 2024

Great for Espresso Machines

Got the Guatemala roast and used it in a home espresso setup. Pulled really clean shots with rich crema. Would order that one again for sure.

Fantastic Coffee, Minor Delay

The quality of Django?s beans is incredible. Tried their Honduras roast and was blown away by the smooth body and balanced sweetness. It made for the perfect daily coffee. Roasted just right?never bitter, never too acidic. I used a manual grinder and V60, and the flavors popped. The only thing that held me back from a full five stars was the delivery time?it took six days to arrive, and I didn?t get tracking info until I followed up. That said, it was well-packed, still fresh, and definitely worth the wait. Love that they list the farm and processing method. You feel more connected to the source. It?s nice knowing you?re drinking something crafted with intention. I?ll definitely be back for more, maybe try a bolder roast next. If they tighten up shipping just a little, this would be one of the best roasters I?ve found online.

img 2/5.0 12, Jul 2024

Delayed Delivery, No Update

The order took longer than expected and I didn?t receive any tracking updates until I reached out. Coffee was okay, but the wait was frustrating.

img 4/5.0 24, Jun 2024

Solid First-Time Experience

Found Django through a friend. Ordered a sampler and was happy with all three varieties. Fresh, well-roasted beans and helpful brewing suggestions online.

Lovely Roast with a Personal Touch

Ordered a bag of Kenya AA and was amazed by the juicy acidity and brightness in the cup. The bag included a handwritten note, which was a great touch. Makes the purchase feel personal and thoughtful. These kinds of small roasters deserve more attention?they really take pride in both flavor and customer care.

img 2/5.0 20, May 2024

Bitter Finish in the Brew

Followed their recommended grind and dose, but the result was sharp and bitter. Tried different methods?same result. Not for me.

img 2/5.0 16, Apr 2024

Customer Service Didn?t Help Much

Ordered two 250g bags and received only one. I emailed customer service with order confirmation and photos, but it took four days to hear back. The response was vague, just asking if I checked the packaging again, which I had. Eventually, they offered store credit, but I would?ve preferred a refund or the missing item. I like supporting small coffee roasters, but this kind of handling doesn?t inspire confidence. The one bag I did receive was decent, but the hassle over the missing product really left a sour taste. Shipping wasn?t especially fast either?took over a week. Might give them another shot later, but not in a rush. Hopefully they tighten up their order fulfillment and support process. A more personal touch would go a long way here.

Strong Ethics and Even Stronger Coffee

Really happy to support Django because of their ethics?transparency in sourcing, recyclable packaging, and fair treatment of farmers. But beyond the values, the coffee itself is delicious. Tried the Kenya roast and got a juicy, citrusy cup that felt very refined. Brewed with a Kalita Wave and the results were bright and complex. Even the smell of the grounds was incredible. Shipping was fast enough, though I?d love an express option for last-minute restocks. Also liked the newsletter they send out?it gives insight into their process and upcoming batches. The experience feels more personal than with bigger roasters. I?d encourage them to expand the blend options and maybe add some fun experimental roasts now and then. It?s hard to find a roaster that?s this consistent and this intentional with their craft. Will definitely be ordering more. Already have my eye on the Colombia roast for next time.

img 5/5.0 10, Mar 2024

Smooth Coffee, Fast Shipping

The beans arrived faster than expected and were packed beautifully. Brewed the Peru roast first?smooth and balanced flavor, no bitterness. Easy to see why folks love this brand.

img 5/5.0 25, Feb 2024

Easy to Brew and Always Fresh

I?ve ordered multiple times and have never had a stale or bland bag. Every roast I?ve tried so far?from Peru to Honduras?has had clear tasting notes and roasts that match the profile. They?re clearly roasting in small batches. Coffee always arrives within 2?3 days. You can tell they care about the product they?re putting out.

img 3/5.0 20, Jan 2024

Great Coffee, But Long Wait Times

The beans themselves were solid?fresh and flavorful. No issues with quality, and I enjoyed the Guatemala roast quite a bit. But the logistics? Not so smooth. It took over nine days from the time I ordered to when the box arrived. That wouldn?t be a big deal if it were communicated clearly, but I didn?t get a shipping confirmation until I followed up via email. Even then, it wasn?t clear if the order had left their facility. I get that they may be a small team, but clarity in communication matters. When you?re waiting on fresh beans, every day counts. I?m not totally turned off, but I?ll probably only reorder if I?m not in a rush. They?ve got potential, but need to sharpen their fulfillment process to really earn long-term loyalty.

Coffee That Tastes as Good as It Smells

You know that feeling when you open a bag of beans and the smell alone makes you smile? That?s Django Coffee Co. Their Brazil roast had a rich chocolate and roasted nut aroma, and it tasted just as good?smooth, low-acid, and full-bodied. Worked well for both French press and drip machine. The roast date was just three days old, so it was super fresh. Ordering was a breeze and delivery came earlier than expected. I liked how each bag included detailed origin information. Makes you feel more connected to the coffee and where it came from. This was one of those rare online finds where the product actually lives up to the hype. Already excited to try the Kenya next. Quality like this is hard to come by. Easily one of the best bags of coffee I?ve had all year. Can?t wait for the next batch.

Thoughtful Coffee with Great Design

Django?s attention to detail is impressive. From the beautifully designed bags to the freshness of the beans, everything felt well curated. I went with the Peru roast and brewed it using a Hario V60?it came out light, sweet, and incredibly smooth. There was a slight delivery delay, but they emailed to let me know in advance, which I appreciated. The package arrived in good condition and included a handwritten note. That kind of personal touch is rare. It?s nice to support a smaller roaster that actually seems to care about the craft. The website has useful info for every coffee, and their Instagram is fun to follow for updates and brew tips. I plan to subscribe once I finish this bag. It?s a solid experience all around. The coffee is top-notch and the brand feels genuine, which is hard to find. Looking forward to trying new origins soon.

img 5/5.0 15, Dec 2023

Incredible Freshness and Complexity

It?s rare that I find a roast that actually makes me stop mid-sip, but Django?s Ethiopia washed roast did exactly that. There were notes of bergamot and peach, super clean cup, and a bright acidity that wasn?t overpowering. Brewed with a Kalita Wave and followed their brew guide?it was flawless. The freshness is what really stood out. The roast date was four days before it shipped, which is exactly what you want. Everything was packed well, and I liked that the labels had details on the origin and processing method. It shows they care about educating customers too. I?ve tried a lot of small-batch roasters, and this one ranks high on both quality and presentation. If you?re someone who enjoys exploring nuanced coffee flavors, Django should be on your radar. Absolutely worth the price, and I?ll be restocking regularly. Already looking forward to their next drop.

Great Aroma, Great Taste

Opening the bag felt like stepping into a roastery. Full of rich, toasty notes. The Brazil roast in particular had great depth and chocolatey tones.

img 1/5.0 12, Nov 2023

Not the Quality I Expected

Bought the El Salvador roast after seeing a lot of positive reviews. The bag looked great, but the coffee was underwhelming. It lacked body and tasted stale, even though the roast date was only a week prior. Tried brewing it a few different ways?French press, V60, AeroPress?and got the same result. Messaged Django to ask if I could exchange or get a refund, but they said taste is subjective and didn?t offer anything. That felt a bit dismissive. I don?t mind paying a premium for small-batch roasted coffee, but the experience has to match the price tag. Unfortunately, this one didn?t. There are other roasters I?ve had better luck with. I wanted to support a smaller brand, but it wasn?t worth the effort this time.

img 4/5.0 01, Nov 2023

Perfect for Filter Brewing Fans

Their beans work incredibly well in pour over methods. The Colombia roast had just enough sweetness and a round body that kept me coming back. I used a Hario dripper and followed the recommended ratios on their website. Very happy with the result. Would love to see a few more limited batches added to the rotation.

img 2/5.0 23, Oct 2023

Customer Service Felt Distant

Reached out with a simple question and got a canned reply two days later. Coffee's fine, but the interaction felt cold.

img 5/5.0 12, Oct 2023

Packaging Is a Plus

The packaging really stands out?resealable, compostable, and clean design. The Ethiopia beans were fresh and bursting with citrus notes. A win for quality and sustainability.

img 5/5.0 04, Oct 2023

Great Coffee, Reasonable Price

For the quality they offer, the price is actually fair. You?re getting freshly roasted beans with well-developed flavor. The Honduras lot I ordered had notes of caramel and stone fruit, and was really pleasant over ice. Django proves that specialty coffee doesn?t need to break the bank to taste great.

img 5/5.0 26, Sep 2023

Always a Treat in the Morning

Django?s coffee has completely replaced the supermarket stuff. Fresh, flavorful, and a joy to brew. The Honduras roast is now my go-to cup.

img 1/5.0 05, Sep 2023

Never Received My Order

Placed an order and never got a confirmation email. Waited a week, still no coffee. Had to ask PayPal for a refund.

img 2/5.0 20, Aug 2023

No Brewing Guide Included

Would?ve been helpful to include brewing suggestions with the bag. Had to go digging online. The coffee?s alright but lacks support.

img 5/5.0 15, Aug 2023

Top-Tier Beans with Amazing Flavor

Django Coffee Co. has quickly become my go-to for single origin beans. Their Ethiopia roast had a perfect balance of floral notes and a tea-like body?absolutely ideal for pour-over brewing. The freshness is always impressive; the roast date is only a couple of days old when it arrives. They also include detailed flavor notes and suggested brew methods, which really helps. I love that they offer a rotating selection too?it keeps things interesting. Customer support is responsive and friendly, and shipping is prompt. What sets Django apart is their attention to both quality and experience. You feel like you're buying from real coffee people, not just another brand. I?ve also tried the Peru and Rwanda roasts?both were equally satisfying. They clearly care about sourcing and roast precision. It?s a pleasure to support a small business that actually gets coffee right. I recommend it to friends without hesitation.

img 5/5.0 01, Aug 2023

Consistently Fresh and Bold

This is my third order and the quality never slips. Beans are always fresh, and flavors stay true to the descriptions. Love the rotating single origins.

img 4/5.0 28, Jul 2023

Solid Choice for Specialty Coffee

Django Coffee Co. provides a consistent experience, from roast to delivery. Their Ethiopia Guji was floral, juicy, and made for a great morning brew. I liked that the packaging included roast date and flavor notes. A touch more body would?ve made it perfect, but I was still impressed with the freshness and overall quality.

img 5/5.0 11, Jul 2023

Loved the Roaster?s Notes

Each bag came with thoughtful roasting notes. Helped get the most out of every brew. The Rwanda lot was bright and crisp?perfect for a pour over.

img 4/5.0 09, Jul 2023

Great Starter Brand for Specialty Coffee

Django Coffee Co. was recommended to me when I started learning about specialty coffee. As a beginner, I appreciated the tasting notes and brew guides on their site. My first order was a Colombia roast and it brewed up beautifully in a French press?sweet, round, with a soft cocoa finish. Everything about the experience was thoughtful. They included roasting info on the bag, and even some tips for brewing. It gave me the confidence to experiment with other methods. The only thing I wish was better was the availability?some of the beans sell out fast. That said, it just means they?re in demand, and I can see why. Their customer-first approach is refreshing. Even the shipping box was tidy and recyclable. I?ve already shared the site with two friends who are starting their coffee journey. It?s a welcoming entry point for quality beans and trustworthy service.

img 5/5.0 27, Jun 2023

A Must for Home Brew Enthusiasts

Home brewing is a hobby of mine and Django Coffee Co. makes it that much better. Their beans are a dream to work with?fresh, aromatic, and roast profiles that suit every brewing method. The Rwanda roast was incredibly vibrant. I used it for both Chemex and AeroPress with excellent results. I appreciate that they don?t over-roast their beans. You can taste the origin, not just the roast. Also, their shipping box is compact and recyclable, which is a bonus. The handwritten thank-you note inside was a thoughtful surprise and added that extra touch of care. Their Instagram is also worth checking out?brew tips and info on new batches. Feels like a tight-knit company that knows its customers. Even the packaging has useful information like altitude and processing method. If you enjoy dialing in your brew and exploring new origins, Django is worth keeping in rotation. Totally earned a loyal fan here.

Didn?t Arrive at All

Placed an order two weeks ago and it never showed up. The tracking number they gave wasn?t recognized by the courier, and I got zero updates unless I followed up myself. After multiple emails, they finally said they?d resend the order, but it still hasn?t arrived. I understand delays can happen, but communication was poor throughout. When people are ordering perishable items like coffee, transparency is key. They didn?t offer any compensation, just asked me to be patient. I wanted to support a small roaster, but the experience was frustrating and felt one-sided. I?ve since ordered from another UK-based roaster and had no issues. Django?s coffee may be good, but I never even got to try it. Hopefully they sort out their logistics soon because this kind of experience loses trust fast.

img 3/5.0 02, Jun 2023

Just Okay Compared to Others

It?s not bad, just didn?t stand out. Tried their Colombia roast?flavor was mild, almost flat. Nothing wrong, just not memorable.

img 3/5.0 29, May 2023

Good Coffee, Minor Delivery Delay

Coffee was excellent?balanced and flavorful?but the package arrived a couple days late. Worth the wait, but tracking info could be clearer.

img 5/5.0 17, May 2023

Consistently Impressive Quality

This is my fourth order from Django Coffee Co., and every time I?m impressed. The beans are always freshly roasted, and the taste is never flat or bitter. Shipping is quick, and I?ve never had any damaged packages. They?ve got a good rhythm going, and it?s easy to trust that the product will show up just right.
