Terrible Experience

Well, I had an awful time taking service from CheapFood.co.uk. My order came out more than a week late with no update in sight. I tried ringing their service number and spent hours to even just get through, let alone discussing the problem on call, while it had been noted on the website that things came out much quicker. Neither did the food come out better quality. Some items were near their expiration dates, and one of the frozen items had already begun to defrost upon arrival. I complained, and I did not receive any apology or proper compensation. I found this very unprofessional, as they were not even transparent with me, making me feel that my business wasn't valued. Based on this experience, I would not recommend them to anyone.

I don?t often write reviews, but after my recent experience with CheapFood.co.uk, I felt the need to warn others. First, the delivery was over 48 hours late. When I called customer service, they had no explanation or apology, and I was left waiting on hold for what felt like an eternity. When it finally came, several items were damaged and most of the produce seemed as if it had sat for too long. Additionally, I had an issue with a few of the frozen items when they arrived because two or three of them had partially thawed. I was very frustrated and called again to complain, but little did come from it. At this time, I can't recommend this company.

I have ordered from CheapFood.co.uk because many people told me great things about this place, but my experience was really bad. The delivery was very late, and the packaging was far from perfect. Some items, especially the fresh produce, were squashed and damaged. I tried calling customer service, but after a very long wait, they weren't very helpful. It took an awful lot of backward and forward when I asked for a refund for the damaged items. It would appear that they are understaffed, and it shows. I cannot say how frustrating CheapFood.co.uk has been. First, my order took days longer to arrive than expected, and when it did show up, some items were missing. I understand that mistakes happen, but when I called to report the missing products, customer service didn?t seem to care. They promised to send replacements but never did. The food that did arrive was subpar at best. I ordered a number of frozen items, and the majority of them were already defrosted, rendering them inedible. The fresh produce was droopy, and I had to discard some of it right then and there. This whole experience has left me extremely disappointed, and I won't be returning.

I recently ordered from CheapFood, and unfortunately, it wasn't a good experience. My order was delayed, and the packaging was a disaster. A few items were crushed, and some of the food packets were torn open. A number of the frozen foods came in frozen, while others reached me thawed. Their customer service was also somewhat disappointing. Upon reporting the issue, I received an automated response that said someone would contact me within 3-5 days, which is just preposterous. I expected much better from a service that claims to put customer satisfaction first. It is a shame they did not bother to set things right.

CheapFood.co.uk was horrible. First, the food delivery was late. It came two days later than it was supposed to, and I was never informed of the delay. Upon opening the box, many items were near expiration, and some were damaged. I had ordered frozen products, and half of them had defrosted. I question how the items were handled this way. I immediately contacted customer support and didn't hear back until well over a week later. When they finally did, it was to offer me a discount on my next order, which didn't in any way make up for the bad experience. Well, I won't be ordering from them again.

There were some issues: a couple of the frozen items came not fully frozen, and one of my canned items was dented. Trying to contact customer service resulted in very slow responses, and a resolution was not provided as expected. I will not be placing any more orders.

Good, But Room for Improvement

I generally had a good feeling with my order. Everything was fresh and properly wrapped; delivery was timely, though. There were also some missing items in my order. For that, although I got a refund, it would be nice to put in more attention to the detail of packing orders. But this notwithstanding, I am still likely to place an order again.
