Website Glitch Cost Me Time and Money

I called customer service again, and it took hours to explain the situation. I was transferred around to multiple reps, each giving me different info. After nearly three weeks, I finally got the right washer, but the experience was frustrating. There was zero accountability, and I had to follow up constantly. Not what I expected from a big brand like Home Depot. I?ll think twice before ordering appliances from them again. Just too much of a hassle.

Inconsistent Pricing and No Fix

Found a grill online at a great price, placed the order, and got a confirmation. Two days later, the order was canceled with no reason. I called support and was told it was a ?pricing error.? I asked them to honor the price I paid, and they refused. No apology, no compensation, just a canned ?we reserve the right to cancel.? I get that errors happen, but they should at least try to make it right?offer a discount or something. Instead, they just canceled it and expected me to reorder it at full price. That?s not how you treat customers. I even emailed corporate and got the same generic response. It?s about the principle. If you mess up, own it. This left a bad taste in my mouth.

Lost My Return and Refused a Refund

I returned a faulty leaf blower by mail using the prepaid label they provided. After tracking it, I saw it was delivered to their warehouse. A week passed, no refund. I called and was told they never received it. I sent them the tracking info?they said they?d escalate. Another week, nothing. Called again, and someone else told me the package was ?lost? and I?d need to file a claim with the carrier. But it was their label! I followed their process, yet I?m left with no product and no refund. It?s absurd. No one is taking responsibility. Every time I call, I get a new person with a different answer. I?m out over $200. Their return system is broken, and it?s completely unfair to the customer.
