For all other personal data associated with our platform, such as when you create an account, submit a review, or provide a response, ScamReviewer A/S is the data controller.

Sharing Your Personal Data with Third Parties
ScamReviewer shares reviews and user profiles with third-party services to increase visibility, including search engines (e.g., Google, Bing) and businesses you reviewed. These third parties may display your reviews and responses on their platforms to broaden their reach.
How Long Do We Keep Your Personal Data?
We retain your personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes it was collected, or as required by law. This duration depends on factors such as the reason for collection, any ongoing legal obligations, or our legitimate business interests. Once we no longer have a valid reason to store your data, we will either delete it or anonymize it so that it no longer identifies you. You have the right to delete your data or request us to do so at any time (see ‘Your Rights’ below).
Retention of Reviews and Account Information
Personal data you provide, including your reviews, will be kept for as long as you have an active ScamReviewer account, or as long as necessary to provide you with our services. If you decide to delete your ScamReviewer account, we will retain a log containing your name, email address, and the date of account deletion for a period of three years.
In certain situations, even if you delete your ScamReviewer account, we may still retain some information as required by law or to serve legitimate business interests. These reasons may include security, fraud prevention, platform abuse, legal or regulatory compliance, and defending our business interests.
Retention of Data from Review Invitations
Personal data we receive from companies using our automated services to send you review invitations will be retained for three years.
How Do We Protect Your Personal Data?
We prioritize the security of your personal data and employ a variety of organizational, technical, and administrative measures to safeguard it. Our systems are regularly audited for vulnerabilities. However, as the internet is not a fully secure environment, we cannot guarantee the security of the information you send to us. Emails sent via our platform may not be encrypted, so we advise against sending confidential information via email.
We continually improve our security practices and will update this information as our security measures evolve.
Do We Use Cookies?
Yes, we use cookies and similar technologies to deliver, optimize, personalize, and analyze our services, as well as for advertising purposes.
We use a mix of cookies and other technologies (e.g., pixels, tracking codes) to gather information in line with the purposes outlined in this policy.
What Is a Cookie?
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device via your web browser at the request of the websites or apps you use. Cookies store data like your preferences and settings, which help us provide a more personalized and consistent experience. We also use cookies to track experiments or new features and measure how they perform.
Cookies may be set by us, third parties we partner with, or independent third parties (e.g., advertisers).
What Are Pixels?
Pixels are small, transparent image files embedded in web pages or emails that help us track your interactions with our services, including marketing communications.
What Are Tracking Codes?
Tracking codes are snippets of code embedded in web pages to track actions like visits and user interactions. We use them to understand how you interact with our platform, the ads you view, and your general usage of our services.
