While the initial rates were great, I was very dismayed that my daily rate surged during policy renewal for no reason at all. Rates were one of the main reasons I chose Hugo; this makes me consider twice. I sold on the promise of Hugo low-cost insurance but within months, the rates skyrocketed without any alteration of my driving history or terms of policy. The customer service team less than helpful, offering no viable solutions but perhaps look elsewhere.
