Delayed Pick Up at Airport

Ordered currency for pickup at airport, but it wasn't ready when I got there. Took the staff such a long time to find my order that I nearly missed my flight. Really inconvenient.

Missed Airport Pickup

Scheduled an airport pickup, but when I arrived, my currency wasn't ready. Had to wait over an hour, which was a huge inconvenience before my flight. Not very helpful staff, and I feel very frustrated. I will not use Travelex for airport pickups again.

Convenient but Delayed Delivery

Travelex is pretty convenient overall. I ordered my currency online, and the rates were really competitive. One thing about it was that they said it would take a day to arrive before I left, but it actually took three days. This really stressed me out just before my trip. Customer support was pretty good, though; otherwise, next time I will order earlier. Still, I will use this service again due to the delay.

Unreliable Service

Efficient Service but Slight Delay

Worst Exchange Experience

I had the worst experience with Travelex. I ordered currency online choosing airport pickup at their location. When I arrived at the airport my order was not there. I was forced to wait a nearly an hour while a staff member finally located my order. The delay put me behind for a flight and the custodians at Travelex did nothing to assist me. They would not even offer to revisit the apology to make amends when they clearly made a mistake. My frustration is legitimate. Sometimes things do not go according to plan, but full indifference and no sense of urgency is unacceptable. I will never again use them. If you are in a time sensitive situation I would advise others to avoid them as well. There are better more reliable services out there.'

Delayed Delivery

I ordered foreign currency by web from Travelex, and paid for home delivery, which was an estimated 3 days. More than a week later, I hadn't got my money. Calls to customer services didn't seem to be working, so I was left sitting for what seemed like an eternity. When the money finally did arrive, it was too late for my trip. Travelex's communication wasn't good and offered no compensation for late delivery. The price was fairly decent, but the service certainly was anything but. I had really expected more from such a huge company, and I will most likely never order again using their services.

Very Good for Airport Pickup

Delivery is delayed, bad communication

I ordered money to be delivered at my home, but it came like days later than expected. I was not notified about the delay by Travelex. Communication wasn't pretty good in general. Worst Customer Service Ever

Very frustrating experience with Travelex. Ordered currency for a trip, assured they would deliver in about three days, but money never arrived; nor was customer support helpful enough. Waiting a long time on the phone line when I was told that I would have to wait another two days; now I was at a loss as to what to do. To top it all off, they refused to give me back my money since they did not get it there on time. No communication with their mistake or willingness to rectify it was quite terrible. Had to get money somewhere else. Lost many hours and a lot of money because of this. Never going there again. Extremely disappointing experience for something that should have been a very simple process.

Travelex made it easy to get travel currency without having to leave my house. The online system was extremely easy to use, and the currency arrived at my door within a few days. Additionally, the rates were better than expected!

Non-responsive Customer Service

I had an issue with my currency order and contacted Travelex's customer service. Unfortunately, they were non-responsive and took too long to get back to me. The delay in resolution added unnecessary stress to my travel preparations. The rates were average, but the customer service was a total disappointment.

Bad Pickup Service

The airport pickup service was a total letdown. My order wasn't ready, and I've been waiting over an hour. Staff looks disorganized, and no apology made for what is now an hour-long delay. Not such a great experience.

Money Received Late

My order sent a request for money to be delivered, and I had paid an extra fee for it to be delivered quicker; however, when it was finally received, it was late. The company, Travelex, never offered me a refund and never offered me to receive assistance from customer service. I would not use this service again.

Convenient but Slight Delay

The service from Travelex was generally good, but my home delivery was delayed by a day. The currency arrived in time for the trip, although the inconvenience of this delay was problematic. Otherwise, the rates were competitive, and the order process was easy. I would use them again, but allow extra time.

Easy ordering, and very user-friendly site. Inasmuch as my currency delivery was delayed two days before my journey, there was a little bit of stress. Yet, it was pretty easy for customer service to respond to the request, though inconvenient in terms of timing.

Simple and Efficient

I have dealt with Travelex several times. The experience has always been seamless, and online ordering is very easy to handle. The convenient feature of picking up currency at the airport is so great. Rates are very competitive, but the slight delay one time did take a little, but on that account, the service was very prompt in resolving the matter. All things considered, it's a good reliable service for travelers.

Super Service for Travelers

I use Travelex consistently. Fantastic service from them all these years. Easy online process to order, and I like being able to pick up my currency at the airport.
