The company really should think about using thicker boxes and packing things more securely. I still enjoy the range and prices, but I'm reluctant to order anything delicate or pricey again. Streamlining the packaging process would cut a lot of this risk. A discount is pleasant, but it doesn't completely address the underlying issue of inadequate shipping preparation.

Tracking Info Was Delayed
The order went through without a hitch, but I didn't get the tracking number for a couple of days. I had no clue if my package had shipped or was still under process. After that, I contacted customer support who offered me the tracking number manually. By the time they gave it to me, the package had already been sent for delivery. A minor complaint, but a significant one?having timely access to shipping information is now an expected standard. The customer service representative was courteous and good-natured, but the problem could have been avoided in the first place with automated notifications. If there's a technical problem, it should be fixed to make this an infrequent annoyance. On the whole, the order did come whole and within the projected delivery timeframe, but the absence of communication caused unwarranted anxiety. Improved backend support for tracking orders would help to make the process more transparent and contemporary.

Poor Handling of Shipping Claims
A recent shipment was lost or misplaced by USPS. I complained to tobaccostock.com and was instructed to file a claim with the carrier directly. Though I sympathize with their stance, it seemed like they were not willing to help anymore. As a buyer, I would expect more engagement from the seller, particularly since I paid for the order and postage via their site. The process took more than a week before I received any update from USPS. The failure of tobaccostock.com to provide proactive assistance left me frustrated. Eventually, the package was located and delivered, but the customer experience could have been much better if they had taken a more active role in the resolution. This kind of hands-off approach doesn?t feel very customer-friendly. It?s made me rethink whether I?d order from them again, especially when other retailers are more responsive in similar situations. More involvement from the seller would improve trust.

Lack of Shipping Flexibility
As much as prices on the product are reasonable, shipping options aren't very diversified. USPS is the default carrier, and in my area, it usually means late or botched deliveries. I attempted to ask for UPS or FedEx instead, but it was not an option at checkout. I contacted support and they informed me that they couldn't modify the shipping method manually as well. That inflexibility is a large drawback, particularly for customers based in areas where USPS is not reliable. It also means delivery times are longer and packages are more prone to damage. The order did eventually arrive, but it was several days late and the outer box had been crushed. Luckily, the products were okay. Offering alternative shipping choices, even at an additional cost, would be a game changer for improving reliability. Until that?s resolved, I?d hesitate to place frequent orders or anything time-sensitive through the site.

Mixed Feelings About Product Quality
Purchased a set of cigars with some wraps and tubes. The wraps and tubes were great, but the cigars weren't in the best shape. They appeared dry and a bit cracked, although sealed. I did call customer service to inquire as to whether replacement was an option, and they did provide store credit, though it didn't quite cover the cost of the ruined cigars. It's disappointing when only some of the order is up to par. Cigars do get affected by humidity, but I would have hoped for more preservation in transit. The remainder of the package remained intact and delivered promptly, so it wasn't all bad. Nevertheless, unless cigar freshness is guaranteed, in the future, I might find other sources for those items. I'd still order other products or accessories from them, though perhaps not cigars. This would be improved if they invested more in preservation to get through delivery.

Inaccurate Inventory Listings
Ordering only a few premium cigars listed as available, I was subsequently sent an email two days later informing me that the item was not in fact available and had been backordered. This was annoying as I was relying on those cigars for an event. If something is posted on the website as available, it needs to be true. I had already paid for it, and it was a few days more before I got a refund processed after deciding to cancel the backordered item. The remainder of my order came in, but it seemed the transaction was botched from the beginning. There needs to be improved inventory syncing on the website to mirror what's in stock. It's to be expected that errors occur, but the customers shouldn't be the ones who suffer. This has left me being more careful in thinking about larger purchases from the website. It would be beneficial if items that are not available were highlighted more noticeably throughout the shopping process.

Customer support wasn?t able to give clear timelines either. It would be really helpful if there were email alerts or restock notifications to improve the shopping experience. Even a rough time estimate of when stock would come back would make it simpler to plan. The products themselves are good and shipping is good when things are in stock, but the transparency of not knowing when they will restock makes it difficult to use the site as a regular supplier. For customers who prefer consistency, this can be a turn-off. A couple of small changes to their inventory system could greatly enhance customer retention.

Poor Packaging Affected Products
I ordered several boxes of filter tubes and pipe tobacco, and the order arrived in a large, loosely packed box. Unfortunately, many of the tubes were crushed during transit due to insufficient padding. The tobacco was fine, but the tubes were unusable. Reached out to customer service, and although they were sympathetic, they could only provide partial restitution in the way of store credit. I was expecting a full refund or replacement because the damage obviously wasn't my fault. This leaves me reluctant to purchase anything delicate from them in the future. Packaging is something that needs to be taken seriously, particularly when sending items that tend to get damaged. It's a pity because the prices are reasonable and the stock is good, but the danger of products arriving damaged and the absence of a complete resolution makes it difficult to justify a repeat purchase. Better packaging standards would be a big help here.

Hit-or-Miss Experience
My initial few orders with tobaccostock.com were fairly smooth. Delivery time was fine, and the product choice was good. But the final order had problems that left me wondering about future orders. The shipping took almost two weeks and no prior information from their end. Twice I had to call them for them to get me a tracking number. One of the items also came with a broken seal, which led to doubts about the freshness of the product. They promised to replace it, but the replacement took as long to come. While I get that policies must be in place, they need to be made more prominent before a purchase is made. It seemed like I had to chase them down for what was supposed to be an easy fix. Average Experience with Some Friction
