Customer service could be better

Deceptive information

It being that sometimes I will take a day to go to meetings, and also with having on-demand insurance that would protect me at an event is just what the doctor ordered. Thimble is overpriced for what it offers; overall, the experience has been somewhat disappointing. Underwhelming conclusion: It seems that flexibility in buying insurance on-demand is all that's attracting me into the application. In the first look, everything was going easy, so I immediately got coverage for an upcoming event. But then, when I finally received the policy, I realized that coverage was way less than what I paid for. For a rather small amount, I thought I could get more comprehensive protection. But the worst part is, I tried to contact the customer service to clarify it, but their response is so slow, and whenever I heard back, it wasn't even that helpful. I canceled my policy and opted for another insurance provider that offered more robust coverage at a better price.

Great idea, but lacks customer support

The concept behind Thimble is great?on-demand insurance for freelancers and small business owners is exactly what I needed. I signed up for a policy as a photographer and was initially pleased with how quick and easy the process was. However, when I really needed their help, things went bad. When I had some questions regarding my policy coverage, the customer service team took a couple of days to respond to my questions. When they did, their response wasn't helpful, and I still had to look around for the answers myself. While I like the flexibility Thimble provides, I have to rely on good customer service, which I didn't get here.

Complicated and confusing

I found the whole process of signing up and buying insurance with Thimble to be more complicated than it needs to be. I could not locate the right coverage for my needs as an owner of a small business although they claim it to be easy and simple to use. The website is really difficult to follow, and descriptions of policies being unclear, so I am canceling this plan.
