The online quote process was straightforward and I called a representative to finalize my insurance policy. However they didn?t add the driver I requested both online and over the phone. I provided the person?s name and birthdate but no other details were asked for. When I reviewed the final documents, the driver wasn't listed so now I have to call back and pay a $35 fee to make the change. It's a bit disappointing since every dollar matters. Other than that the customer service was good, and the prices were reasonable.

You'll spend hours on the phone, and over time, they?ll keep increasing your charges without any explanation. Initially, it seems like a good deal, but after a few years, you?ll notice you're paying more than three times the original price. I'm still trying to resolve this issue, and I can't even cancel my policy because I can't reach anyone. I've been trying for days to contact someone. At this point, I want nothing to do with this company! Avoid their insurance at all costs.

A car insured by The General hit my parked vehicle & five weeks later, there's still been no action. After three weeks of waiting, they couldn?t even obtain the police report?I had to get it myself and send it to them. Now they?re saying they need to hear back from the driver, who hasn?t returned their calls despite insuring the vehicle. The service has been terrible, with a complete lack of urgency. After this experience I would never consider them for my insurance needs.
