Disappointing Service, Slow Response
I've been using Surety Bonds Direct, but it's not without its hitches. First, I found the online application quite easy to work with and submitted everything required of me for my bond. While they were courteous, the response was much slower than anticipated, considering how they advertise quick processing time. My bond took longer to arrive than expected, and each time I tried calling for an update, it was not very helpful. The customer service representatives seemed uninformed, and I was left waiting longer than I had hoped. What's more, I came across some extra fees tucked away in the final cost of the bond that weren't explained at first. That lack of transparency, together with the slowness of the service, felt frustrating overall. In due time, I did get my bond; however, I did not find the process to be as smooth or transparent as it ought to have been. Due to these issues, I would not want to use Surety Bonds Direct again.
