    Cool Brand, Lacking Execution

    SugarCali's packaging and website are among the best I've ever seen in the hemp industry?truly professional and attractive. My package arrived promptly and was nicely packaged. I ordered the peppermint hemp cigarettes and was anticipating a cool, smooth smoke. Sadly, the taste was nearly absent, and the smoke was harsher than I'd anticipated. I also experienced problems with inconsistent burning, which took away from the experience. I posted my comments to customer service, and although they were friendly and professional, they did not have a solid answer to my issues.     There is no argument that SugarCali does impress when it comes to branding and packaging. I received my order on schedule and it appeared terrific, giving me a feel of high end. But upon testing the vanilla hemp cigarettes, I was disappointed in how thin the flavor tasted and how coarse the smoke had become. The burn was also irregular, making it less than fun overall. I contacted customer service, and they replied fast and courteously but offered no more than an apology. SugarCali absolutely shines at presentation and branding but hasn't matched that level in the product. They have a good idea and a lovely aesthetic, but refined flavor development and a smoother execution would truly set it apart. Currently, it seems like they're halfway there but still have some work to do.

    Not As Smooth As Expected

    Experimented with SugarCali hemp cigarettes after seeing some good comments about them online, but my own experience didn't quite match. The cigarettes came within a reasonable time frame and were packaged well, which created high expectations. The smoothness of the smoking experience, though, was not as I'd imagined. I considered the draw quite severe, and there was very little flavor being released, particularly in the peppermint one. I had hoped for a crisp, refreshing taste but instead experienced a lack of taste and a slight harshness on the throat. Customer service was courteous when I contacted them, but no substitute was provided.
