Unclear Terms and Delayed Processing

From the review of SpotPet, it shows that their terms were vague and the process of making a claim took a lot of time. I bought a policy with the idea that I was going to get full cover, only to realize later after seeking surgery for my dog that the reimbursement was very little. It was weird about the deductibles and limits. I had to ask questions on these three times to the customer service. I guess the response times were slow, which increased the level of stress. They finally processed the reimbursement, but it created a poor impression with the wait and the inconsistency in communication. The terms of coverage kept changing depending on whom I was speaking to, which frustrated me. For pet insurance to be dependable, clarity and prompt service, especially during emergency situations, are necessary. While SpotPet provides basic coverage, they can upgrade the claims process to be clearer for the customer so the customer is dependent on the company for immediate care to his pets.

Coverage Was Not as Expected

When I had my dog scheduled for surgery, the impression I got was that everything is covered, but not only wasn't everything covered, the least they did was a meager reimbursement of just half of the surgery, for which I contacted customer care after this, and everyone responded in a different way and confusingly. SpotPet initially seemed all-encompassing, until I was shocked by their premium charges, and claiming became rather slow. I claim to my cat when she requires an emergency visit. Till date, weeks have been over, and I had not received reimbursement. Different responses from the customer care departments added to the frustration while discussing the situation.
