A very smooth experience but could be more widely available.
So far, I have had a hassle-free experience with Splitit, but it should be more readily available at more retail stores. The system itself is very user-friendly, and I have enjoyed no hidden charges or interests. With me having always been able to pay almost nothing short of seamlessly using Splitit, it's pretty frustrating at times due to its limited number of available stores, though.

Great to Spread Payments Out

Reliable and Easy to Use
Many purchases I have used Splitit for require more funds than my current credit card balance, and this service has been incredibly reliable. That really works well and is easy to manage payments through. It is a user-friendly system with no interest or hidden fees and the customer service has been very responsive; no issue at all in the payment process so far. Helpful but Limited
Splitit has really helped me to track payments pretty well. It is limited in that not too many retailers accept it. Other than that, the platform itself is very easy to use, and the payment process is very fluid. The payment method itself has no hidden fees or interest payments. I wish to use more at the stores though, but the overall experience has been good.

Fantastic Service, No Commission

False Information and Lack of Customer Support
I have encountered several irritations with Splitit. Initially, I thought when subscribing I would not be charged any extra amounts. However, at times, I received unsubstantiated charges for unknown amounts. This would be done without even an explanation from their support team. Their customer service team was very slow to respond and totally incapable of providing an easy explanation.

Poor Communication and Surprise Fees
I came into Splitit with some hope, and to date, my experience has been awful. It all seemed so promising when I signed up for it before things started taking a bad turn and surprise fees popped in. I reached out to customer service and could not even wait long enough for them to get back to me, nor were their answers helpful to me at all.

Unclear Fees and Slow Support

Poor Customer Service, Confusing Fees

Hidden Fees and No Help Line
I'm generally very upset because of my experience with Splitit, because the service was actually quite excellent using it, but the hidden fees which were not mentioned ahead of time will always represent my worst experience when using this company. I was simply being charged for things that I did not agree to, further, getting any type of clear answers was impossible.
