Great selection of wines
The selection with Splash Wines is great; I have found several new wines that I like. Delivery was fast, and the bottles arrived well-protected. I liked the tasting notes in the descriptions-the only way to make better choices. Some of these wines were a little less fitting to my taste, but generally, this was a great experience.

Convenient wine subscription
Splash Wines makes stocking up on wine easy and no hassle. Prices are reasonable, and the wines I have gotten so far were great for everyday drinking. There were a couple that I didn't care for, but customer service was helpful, and it was promptly resolved. I will reorder.

Impressive reds

Quality doesn't match the price
After reading good reviews about Splash Wines, I was excited, but the selection I got did not live up to my expectations. There were a few bottles in my selection that were too acidic and tasteless. Prices are competitive, but some wines made me feel ripped off. The packaging was good, but a couple of the bottles in my order were corked, which was somewhat disappointing. I did email customer service, and while they were nice, the resolution they provided was not satisfying. At the price point that I paid, I expected a much better overall experience. The website descriptions about flavor profiles were somewhat misleading for the wines as well. I would try them again, but they must work harder on quality control to make sure the wines are suitable for the descriptions given. There are other services that give more value for money.

Bottles inconsistent
Splash Wines started great with the first shipment I ordered from them, but all following orders were inconsistent. I felt that some bottles tasted as if they were past their prime, flavor-wise-just kind of flat and lifeless. I even had one batch where a bottle was corked, which just really disappointed me. I did call customer service about that; they did say they'd look into it, but I never heard from them again. In general, I have the feeling that their quality control is far from perfect. While an interesting idea, the lack of consistent quality cannot make the wine delivery service affordable. It's such a shame; this was really meant to be my to-go wine provider. Until Splash Wines improves on these two issues, I cannot recommend it to my friends. Their potential is there, but they need to ensure better product reliability.

Poor resolution of issues
I really had high hopes for Splash Wines, but basically, at almost every turn, that hope was dashed. My shipment arrived late and included two broken bottles. When I contacted customer support, it took several days to get a response. They eventually offered a partial refund but didn't replace the broken bottles, which frustrated me. The wines that did arrive were less than impressive. Some were overly sweet, while others tasted sour and unpleasant. For a company that markets itself as offering premium selections, their service lacked professionalism. What's worse, the flavor profiles did not match the website descriptions, leaving me in doubt as to how accurate this curation process truly is. Rarely do I review anything, but this call for feedback. I would not order from Splash Wines again unless they significantly improved their service and quality.

Overpriced for the quality
Amazing idea from Splash Wines; unfortunately, that is all it is-an idea. I have received wines that come across as if bought in bulk rather than being a curated selection. I expected mid-tier wines based on the pricing, but instead, what I received were bottles that tasted like they were from the bargain bin. The reds lacked complexity and the whites were overly acidic. I would have no issue paying this price for the wines if it actually tasted of the descriptions provided, but they did not. Additionally, when trying to contact their customer service for a refund or replacement, they seemed completely unresponsive. Shipping was another issue?the box was delayed, and the tracking information provided wasn?t accurate. Overall, I think Splash Wines needs to invest more in product quality and logistics before they can truly compete with other wine subscription services. Not worth it right now.

Deceptive-descriptions
Splash Wines website descriptions led me to expect more. The wines received weren't as described at all. I have ordered various reds, expecting full-bodied wines with intense flavors. Most of the wines were watery and flat. One bottle tasted spoiled, which was alarming. The delivery was late, and the packaging looked like it was rushed because the bottles inside the box weren't secure. When I did reach out for assistance, it came in the form of a small discount on the next purchase. Not really a resolution. It seems this company is more about sales than quality and customer satisfaction. Given the price, much better service is to be expected, along with consistent products. It's a crying shame, really, because the concept is fantastic, but the execution is poor. I won't be ordering again unless Splash Wines addresses these massive issues. MUCH better wine delivery services exist out there.

Not worth the hype
Splash Wines looked good on paper. Well, it wasn't the Splash Wine that was hyped and promoted everywhere. The wines were mediocre at best, with several over-sweet or metallic tastes. With the way they advertise, saying 'curated wines,' I had hoped for much better quality and variety. Shipping was fine. The wines themselves were a letdown. Customer service was very slow to respond when I pointed out the problem, and their offer of a small discount on a future order did little to assuage my disappointment. I tried other wine delivery services in which wines are often far better and similarly priced. Although I appreciate the convenience that Splash Wines offers, I believe they need to strengthen the area of product quality to complement their marketing efforts. Until then, I would not suggest this service to anyone seeking premium wines.

Disappointing in general
Not a very good experience with Splash Wines. Of the dozen wines, only two were drinkable. Only a couple of them were drinkable; the rest were either too sour or tasted stale. If that wasn't enough, delivery took almost two weeks, and one of the bottles in the package arrived broken. I did contact customer service, which answered promptly but offered a slight discount for my next order-a resolution that didn't fix the poor quality of wines I've been complaining about. Their wines sound premium from the descriptions on their website, but it fell far short of the promise. I had hoped that this was gonna be a great way to try new wines, but now I'm just disappointed and frustrated. From quality to customer satisfaction- Splash Wines has a long way to go. I would not really recommend it unless serious improvements are made.

Hit or miss experience
My experience has been spotty with Splash Wines. Some bottles have been decent, but others have been so bad they're down the drain. I like the convenience of home delivery-that's about it, really. There seems to be zero quality control, and I think in general, the company worries about quantity a bit too much over quality. The shipping was effortless, yet the wines themselves were underwhelming. Considering the price I paid, I expected much more. I did reach out to the customer service to resolve the issue, and the response wasn't hugely reassuring. They seemed more interested in upselling me for a future order than in actually solving the problem at hand. Overall, I think that Splash Wines has potential, but until they work on their curation process and take customer feedback more seriously, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

Unmatched convenience and quality
What I look for in a wine subscription service, I get from Splash Wines. The quality is very good, especially considering the price point. I've found some new wines I like by getting their boxes, and the variety is something I quite enjoy. Whether I need a full-bodied red or a smooth, crisp white, it's always there. Delivery is expedient, and the bottles are very well wrapped up in their package. The thing that is special about Splash Wines is their customer service: above and beyond, whatever it takes to make things right. I did have one minor issue with one shipment, and they promptly resolved it right away, offering even a little something for my trouble. Mixed feelings
Excited to try Splash Wines, had mixed feelings. It was on time, but most bottles tasted stale or too acidic. The customer service was very polite and no satisfactory resolution was reached. The prices are the only thing I appreciated; quality-wise, I am very disappointed with each wine selection. Not really willing to reorder.

Not worth the money
The wines I received were mediocre at best from Splash Wines. A couple were drinkable, but most tasted flat and lacked depth and flavor. For what I paid, I was expecting much better quality. The website descriptions also did not match the wines. Delivery was OK, but the product was not worth the money. Won't be reordering.

Disappointing experience
I felt pretty let down with Splash Wines. A few of the bottles tasted off, one was corked, and although I'm sure it takes time, the slow customer service response was given-a small discount didn't feel like enough. Delivery was on time, but the actual wines were questionable quality. For a service marketing itself as premium, it really wasn't. Won't reorder.

Inconsistent Quality

Not as advertised
The Splash Wines wines did not live up to the web descriptions. I was expecting bold, rich flavors and got bland and over-the-top acid-forward wines. Delivery was fine, but the overall experience wasn't worth the price paid. Their marketing made the wines sound like premium wines, and this wasn't the case at all. I will have to look elsewhere.

Poor value for money
I had pretty high hopes for Splash Wines, but they didn't meet my expectations at all. Most tasted like cheap wines, and there was one that was literally undrinkable. Descriptions felt somewhat misleading, and customer service wasn't helpful in resolving my concerns. Delivery came on time, but product quality was poor. I don't think I would give this service another chance.

Could be better
While Splash Wines had fast delivery, the wines themselves were of low quality. I'd hoped to be trying more interesting flavors, but most of the bottles tasted flat. Customer service was polite but didn't address my concerns at all. The convenience is great, but I would much rather spend my money on wines with quality elsewhere.

Waste of Money
My experience was poor with Splash Wines. From 12 bottles, only one was drinkable. The rest tasted sour or stale. Delivery was timely, but it was poorly packed, and one bottle arrived broken. Customer service failed to resolve it as it should have been. I regret ordering from them and wouldn't recommend ordering to others.

Disappointed with quality
I liked the concept of Splash Wines, but the reality didn't quite live up to expectations. Several bottles were too sweet or too acidic, and none really wowed me. Needs improvement
The wine delivery process was seamless, but the wines from Splash Wines proved to be subpar. It was as if this selection didn't undergo proper curation. Too many bottles tasted mediocre at best. I did reach out to the customer service team, and although polite, they really didn't do much to right the wrongs. For that price, it should have been much better, but for now, no reordering.
