Leaves a Chemical Smell
I was forced to stop using SoClean 2 due to the ozone scent that it leaves on my gear. No matter how hard I aerate my mask, it still stinks strange and gives me headaches. It's also frustrating that the machine runs through expensive filters to use. I returned to hand washing my CPAP pieces because it felt safer and better.

I wished I could have loved this machine, but it just was not for me. The ozone smell is overwhelming, and I find myself having to air out my mask for quite a while before use. To make matters worse, the machine is big and takes up significant space. For the price and maintenance involved, I don't think it is worth it.

Works, But at What Cost?
Though the SoClean 2 does get the job done by sanitizing my CPAP gear, the cost of upkeep is ridiculous. The filter and cartridge replacements are expensive and accumulate quickly, so it cost more than I was willing to pay. Also, the lingering odor left behind from the cleaning cycle is rather strong and takes time to clear out. It is convenient, but not sure if it is worth the hassle.

Overpriced for What It Does
I was expecting the best from the SoClean 2, but in good faith, it is overpriced for what it does. Sure, it cleans the CPAP, but the ozone smell is overwhelming and lingers for hours, which makes it not enjoyable to use straight out. Also, the replacement filters are way too expensive for something that should be done once and you're set. I was expecting more for the price.
