Great Savings Platform

Membership Worth Every Penny

ShopSmarter seems like a great idea, but it has been such a waste of money. For the cashback being offered, it's not enough, and the stores' list is pathetic. I have spent way more than what I could earn, and the customer support has been weak. Not renewing.

Unreliable
ShopSmarter has had a problem with not reporting my cashback. When I contact the customer service department, no one gets back to me. I have been waiting weeks to receive any rewards. This is very frustrating and something that shouldn't be done when you have a situation like this. Definitely would not recommend.

Customer Service Was Unhelpful
Customer service did not even call me back when I called them twice about a cashback issue. Weeks passed before I even got my cashback, and I haven't received my cashback yet. The ineptitude in follow through and the lack of communication in this regard has left me quite annoyed and disappointed, and that is why I will soon cancel my membership.

Not Worth the Effort
A so-so experience with ShopSmarter. I have found the cashback process to be way too problematic. Being unbelievable enough already that the rewards take their own sweet time to reach me, I haven't earned much and therefore think all the hard work is just not worth it.

Horrible Experience
I did have the worst experience with ShopSmarter. They could not receive cash back several times, and when I tried contacting them, there was no form of assistance. The fee for membership is not worth the penny you gain in the transaction, and I am not going to renew the service.

Fewer Stores and Slow Processing
ShopSmarter carries only a few of the stores I shop at, so the cashback is definitely limited. Even when I do shop in one of those participating stores, it's slow to get the cash credited on my card. Overall, it just is not as convenient as I thought it would be.

ShopSmarter doesn't have enough participating stores for me to particularly care about. I do most of my shopping with some bigger retailers that aren't on this list, so I don't really end up earning much cashback from doing much actual shopping there. I think it would be a pretty good service if it didn't get neutered by only having so few retailers participating.

Experience Extremely Disappointing
I signed up for ShopSmarter after seeing the cash back deals advertised, bad idea, obviously. Took weeks for cash back on first few transactions to appear, and then it was a percentage fraction of what I was going to get. I made several requests to customer service, but that took too much time and, when it was received, was not accomplished. And then there's the fee-it seems too expensive for such value. There are only a few stores where I shop; getting better cashback becomes difficult in such low-auctioning stores. It has been frustrating, and I would not recommend it to anyone.

Underwhelming Cashback Rewards
I used ShopSmarter for almost two months now, and so far, it hasn't been what I expected. The concept is great, but the money that the shoppers will get afterwards after making all those purchases in participating stores isn't enough compared to the fee paid for the membership. So far, I haven't seen it pay off very much until now. In fact, most of my favorite stores aren't on the list so I can't use it for most of my shopping. Plus, the cash back also takes ages to get credited. Several times, I attempted to reach customer care to understand why the reward is being delivered late; they, on the whole, were of no use. It does not seem worth it after all.

No Cashback and Terrible Support
ShopSmarter has always been a frustrating service for me. I ordered lots of things through the site, and despite following every single step correctly, I earned nothing in the way of cashback. I contacted customer support several times to no avail, but this time I did get a response, though very vague and unhelpful. Then again, most of my favorite stores are not part of the cashback program, so nothing has really been reaped from this site. Really feels like a scam, though. Was really very disappointed in this service. I am sure I am terminating the subscription.

Doesn't Deliver on Promises
Signed up for ShopSmarter after having read all the wonderful reviews that I had. Really underwhelmed, though. The cashback processing was much slower than they advertised, and sometimes wasn't credited at all. I had to call customer service several times, and every time, they responded with template responses that really did not help me solve my problems. The store options for the application were very limited, so I couldn't use it for the items I regularly buy. Conclusion: I just threw away my money, and my overall experience is really disappointing.

Extremely Frustrating
It is such a hassle to shop at ShopSmarter. In fact, even the few orders that I have placed through this site from the time that I opened my account failed to give me anything back in cashback-my main motivation for joining this program in the first place. Even after such a long wait-coming weeks-that meager sum that I obtained was laughable and didn't come close to half of my membership fee. I still tried to engage their customer service on my particular matter but to no avail since they barely address it. The bigger problem is that most of the shops where I regularly shop aren't part of their network, so, for me, the application isn't really useful. Honestly, I do not think that cashback is worth that time and effort to me, and I would definitely cancel my membership.

Lack of Participating Stores
I was really optimistic about ShopSmarter, but here's the challenge. I wish there was a faster cashback process. Indeed, it took over a month for me to receive my first reward. Apart from that, most of the shops that I used to visit are not covered by their cashback program, so I need to go to lesser-known places just to get to cash back. I haven't earned much for these months that I have been using it, and with a membership fee, I do not think that is a worthwhile experience at all. So, I'm going to cancel my subscription after a few months.

Too Long to Get Cashback
The whole experience I've had with ShopSmarter is disappointing. I signed up hoping to save quite a bit on my online purchases. The cashback process takes an extremely long time; much too long for my taste, where it takes weeks for the reward to appear and no help in getting an explanation from customer service as to why it was taking so long. What's more, the cashback amount paid out is pretty less than what I expected. To be honest, I haven't earned nearly enough to even justify paying the membership fee, but sloppiness from the response by support has not been professional. Definitely not renewing.

Not Worth the Effort
ShopSmarter has proven to be much of a problem than it has been an advantage. I didn't save much in cashback yet, and the whole process is slow and confusing, almost frustrating. It had a few bad experiences with its inability to credit my rewards, not to mention that, honest to God, their customer service didn't prove to be helpful in rectifying most of the problems. It does not have a complete list of the stores available for cashback, so I find it quite useless for the kind of purchases I normally make. I have given the service a fair chance and do not believe it to be worth the membership fee. I shall not continue using it.

Very Poor Experience
I had the worst experience with ShopSmarter. Crediting took extremely long, and the amount credited was too insignificant. In fact, I had better luck finding cash back deals directly with the retailers themselves. I reached out twice to customer service and didn't actually get much help. The program isn't transparent, and there aren't clear instructions on the website. But what is really an issue is the fact that most of the big stores I shop at are not even listed. Really, to get this service done is just not worth it; I won't be renewing my subscription.

Poor Communication
I have been a member of ShopSmarter for some time now, and I have had to run after my cash back more than once. Unfortunately, when I reached out to their customer service, they were too slow to respond and ultimately not very helpful. Their rewards are paltry, and a ridiculously long amount of time is being taken before returning any benefit from my purchases. In the worst part, most of the shops where I go very regularly do not participate in their cashback program. Feels Like a Scam
Honestly, I feel like ShopSmarter might be a scam. I subscribed, made some purchases, and was assured that I would get cashback. Well, after weeks, no cashback showed up, so I contacted the support team several times and all I get are automated responses. I am not impressed at all with ShopSmarter. The cashback rewards are much smaller than I thought they would be, and too long a period elapses before processing them. I did do some small purchases through the program but, man, I really don't see the rewards coming out to much. They would be super valuable if they added more stores, because many of the places that I frequently shop at aren't part of this program. Not Worth the Membership Fee
For the past months, I have had a membership at ShopSmarter, but frankly, I would not pay the fee for it. The idea is nice, but the money paid back is quite low, and it takes ages to be refunded to my account. Customer service has been very slow to respond to my inquiries and hasn't been able to solve any of them. I didn't see much in the way of return and have spent more money into the membership than I've gotten back in cash back. Not going to renew.

Frustrating and Inefficient
ShopSmarter: has been a complete waste of my time. The whole process of getting cash back is somehow unreasonably inefficient. I waited for what should have been my rewards but nothing ever comes through. Several orders went through on the platform and sometimes my cashback would get delayed while others didn't. Customer service was just unhelpful; not even satisfactory answers could be inferred from my questions. It's frustrating, inefficient, and not worth the membership fee, so I have to cancel it.

I have used ShopSmarter for months now, and this has been the easiest cashback, if not amongst the easiest, platforms that I have ever used.
