Slow support, okay coffee
Support answered my questions but took a few days to get back to me. Coffee was fresh and decent but the slow support left me unsure if I want to order again. Would prefer quicker replies to make the experience smoother. Otherwise, the beans were fine.

Clean cups every time
There?s no weird aftertaste or burnt flavors. It?s clean from start to finish. Even in milk drinks, the beans hold their own. That says a lot. I usually mess up lattes but still tastes good.

Fresh coffee with friendly support
Beans arrived fresh and well packed with a nice roast date. I had some questions about brewing and their support team was quick to reply and very helpful, which I liked. Coffee tastes great, especially for pour-over. I docked one star because the delivery was a bit slow and the packaging could be a little more eco-friendly. Otherwise a solid experience.

Coffee never gets stale
I?ve had beans from other roasters go stale pretty fast even with storage, but Square Mile beans stay fresh for weeks. I think the roast level and bag design help. Just feels better quality.

Average taste, long delivery
The coffee was average, nothing special in flavor or aroma. What bothered me most was the long wait time for delivery. It took almost a week to get my order, which is a long time when you want fresh coffee. If they speed up delivery, it might be better, but right now it?s inconvenient.

Excellent Aeropress results

Good coffee, slow delivery
Coffee tastes good, fresh and clean but the delivery took much longer than expected. It made me worry about the freshness a bit. The beans themselves were nice but waiting almost a week for shipping was frustrating. Would be better if they improve delivery times. Other than that, the taste was smooth and enjoyable for my morning brew.

New favourite origin

Kid you not?best decaf I had
I gave up caffeine recently and finding a good decaf was hard. This one blew me away. Chocolate, nutty, and no dull taste. I even gave it to friends without telling and they couldn?t tell it was decaf.

Support was okay but slow

Coffee lacked flavor and freshness
I got my order but the beans seemed stale. No aroma and the coffee tasted really weak and dull. I was expecting more from a specialty roaster but this was disappointing. Great for French press

Confusing website and slow support
The coffee arrived fresh and tasted okay but ordering was a pain. The website was confusing with lots of options and unclear descriptions. Also, when I contacted support, it took days to get a reply which was frustrating. They were polite but slow. I think they need to improve their site and customer service if they want to keep customers happy.

Nice variety to explore
I?ve tried the Red Brick, Sweetshop, and a couple seasonal ones. All very different but still excellent. Sweetshop especially was a fun surprise?so much fruity candy-like flavor. I usually go for chocolatey, but I liked this more than expected.

Coffee okay, but not great value
I found the coffee to be okay but not something special. The flavor was balanced but lacked excitement or anything unique. Also, I felt like the price was a bit steep for the amount you get. For the same price, I could buy larger quantities elsewhere. Might try again if prices drop but for now I?m not convinced.

Didn?t expect much? loved it

Interesting seasonal blends

Light roast was spot on

Espresso was mild, not strong enough

Not as fresh as expected
Although the roast date said fresh, I felt the coffee lacked that vibrant aroma and flavor I expect from freshly roasted beans. Maybe shipping delays affected freshness, but I was disappointed. Smooth espresso, not very strong
The Red Brick espresso is very smooth and easy to drink, which I appreciate. However, I find it?s a bit lacking in strength compared to other espressos I?ve tried. Good taste but very overpriced

Smoothest decaf I?ve had

Decaf lacks flavor

Very slow shipping and poor taste

Support was helpful but slow reply
I had questions about brewing and their customer support was friendly, but it took a couple days to get a reply. Coffee quality was good though, and the beans tasted fresh. Would be better if support was a bit quicker. Overall experience was okay.

Well balanced espresso

Love the seasonal edits

Consistent quality but pricey
Square Mile delivers consistently good coffee with nice bright flavors and well-developed roasts. I especially liked the Red Brick espresso which was smooth without bitterness. The price is a little on the higher side compared to others, so I?m hesitant to make it a regular habit. Overall a reliable roaster with fresh beans, just wish the costs were slightly more affordable for everyday use.

Lovely roastery feel

Really good but shipping slow
The coffee taste was very fresh and nicely roasted, especially the filter blends. I liked the clear flavor notes and how the beans smelled. The only thing was that delivery took longer than I expected which was a bit frustrating. But once it arrived, the coffee made up for it with nice balance and clean finish. Will order again but hope shipping speeds up.

Bad experience, won?t reorder
My order arrived late and the beans smelled old and stale. Brewed the coffee and it tasted very bitter with no depth. I tried adjusting grind and brew times but nothing helped. For the price I paid, I expected way better. Customer service was slow to reply too. This was my first and last order with Square Mile.

Really disappointed with delivery
I was so excited to try the coffee but delivery took way too long. It came after 10 days and when I opened the bag, the beans didn?t smell fresh at all. Brewed it anyway but the taste was flat and bitter. Honestly, felt like a waste of money. Not sure if I want to try again after this experience.

Decent but slow delivery

Good roast but a bit expensive
The roast quality was nice and the beans tasted fresh. However, I feel the price is a bit high for what you get. If they offered a slightly cheaper option it would be easier to order regularly. Taste-wise it was very good.

Decaf was disappointing
I was excited to try their decaf but was let down. The flavor was bland and lacked complexity. It didn?t taste like coffee to me. Also, the delivery took longer than promised which made me worry about freshness. I hoped for better but this was underwhelming. Would not recommend decaf from here unless they improve the quality.

Never a dud bag
I?ve been ordering since early last year and not once have I gotten a bad roast. Always fresh, always in good shape. The uniformity in roast is impressive. You don?t see that everywhere.

Great with oat milk
I?m picky about beans that hold up in oat milk, and theirs do! No sour notes or strange reactions with plant milk. Red Brick especially works really well for milk drinks.

Love the decaf
Thought decaf wouldn?t be great but wow, Square Mile nailed it. Still with flavour and aroma, was genuinely surprised. Would recommend if you're cutting down on caffeine.

Nice flavor but a bit pricey
I enjoyed the flavor of the coffee ? fresh and balanced. But I found the price a bit on the higher side for the amount of beans you get. Not sure I would buy regularly because of that. Still, quality is decent and worth trying if you want something different.

Good flavors but not super bold
I tried a few of their blends and enjoyed the flavor profiles, which were clean and well balanced. I prefer stronger, bolder coffee for espresso though, so it was just slightly lighter than I wanted. It works great for filter and Aeropress, but if you like very dark roasts this might not be the best fit. Still, well sourced and tastes fresh every time.

Coffee was okay but delivery took forever
The coffee itself tasted fine, not bad but nothing special either. What really disappointed me was how long delivery took. I waited over a week which felt way too long for fresh coffee. By the time it arrived, I wasn?t sure how fresh it still was. The packaging was okay but could be better. Not sure I?d order again with such slow shipping.

Taste is next level

Decaf option is good but limited
I appreciate that Square Mile offers a decent decaf option that doesn?t taste flat or dull. The beans had nice flavor and body for a decaf. I just wish there were more variety in the decaf range. Otherwise, their filter coffees are bright and enjoyable. Shipping took a little longer than expected, but customer service was responsive when I asked about my order.

Freshness always there but shipping delayed
Every order I received was fresh with a clear roast date, which I appreciate a lot. The coffee tastes nice, clean, and vibrant. My only complaint is that sometimes the shipping took longer than estimated, which made me a bit worried about freshness at first. But in the end the beans were still great. Would be good to improve delivery times though.

Decaf option limited and average
I was happy to see a decaf option but it didn?t really wow me. The flavor was okay, but kind of flat and lacking depth. It?s better than some decafs I tried before, but I hoped for more variety and complexity. Shipping also took a little longer than I hoped.

No weird bitterness
A lot of espresso beans I?ve tried go bitter after a few days open, but these stay nice and round. Using them in my Sage machine and shots come out consistently good. No channeling either.

Disappointed by freshness and shipping
I was really looking forward to this coffee but it arrived damaged and stale. The packaging wasn?t secure and beans had lost their flavor. Shipping took much longer than promised, which probably made it worse. I can?t recommend this based on my experience, felt like I wasted my money on poor quality and slow service.

Good coffee but slow shipping

Good starter for beginners
I sent a friend a bag as a welcome to specialty coffee and they got totally into it. The flavors are approachable, not too acidic or complex. Great intro without being basic.
