Better than most

Everything works fine

Honest and functional

Wouldn?t recommend
Everything about Shinobi feels half-finished. From the design to the features to the support, nothing feels polished or fully thought out. I regret signing up and won?t be sticking around. Just not worth the time or effort.

Glad I switched

Worth trying out

Doesn?t sync well
I linked my account and expected things to update in real-time, but there?s a major lag. Transactions show up hours later, sometimes the next day. That?s not workable for managing money actively. Needs better syncing and faster updates to be useful.

Good for beginners

Unclear fees
There were a few transactions where the fees didn?t match what I expected. Tried to get clarity, but didn?t get a real explanation. The whole thing felt sketchy. I don?t mind fees if they?re upfront, but this felt sneaky. Definitely left a bad impression.

Better than expected

Solid experience overall

Customer service lacking
Support replies feel copy-pasted and don?t actually address your problem. I want real help, not automated responses. It?s not even that I?ve had huge issues?just small things that need fixing?but I never get real assistance. Pretty disappointing for a finance app.

Doesn't build confidence
When it comes to finances, you want a platform that feels solid and dependable. Shinobi doesn?t give me that feeling. Too many small issues, too many uncertainties. I haven?t lost money, but I?m not confident either. That uncertainty is enough to make me consider switching.

Too many login issues
I?ve had to reset my password more times than I can count. Something always seems to go wrong when I try logging in. It?s not a huge thing the first time, but when it happens constantly, it?s a dealbreaker. Fix your login system.

Needs a mobile app
There?s no dedicated mobile app, which makes everything harder on the go. The website doesn?t render well on my phone, and I do most of my finance stuff from mobile. Feels outdated for 2025. I need something that fits my lifestyle, and this just doesn?t cut it.

Worst support I've had
Tried to resolve a basic issue and got bounced around between different reps. No one seemed to actually read what I wrote. Eventually gave up. It?s one of the worst customer support experiences I?ve had with any service. The platform might be okay, but I can?t deal with that.

Inconsistent experience
Some days it works fine, other times things just don?t load or transactions hang. The inconsistency is frustrating. I never know what to expect. I?ve had to refresh the page multiple times to get simple tasks done. Not ideal for anything time-sensitive or if you?re relying on it heavily.

Overpromised features

Poor communication

Withdrawal delays
