Love Everything About It
Roost & Root completely won us over. This coop is solid, well-designed, and made with care. We love how every part of the structure serves a purpose. Assembly was a little tricky in a couple places?the instructions could be clearer in the hinge section?but everything turned out great in the end. Our hens enjoy the shaded area and have plenty of room to roam. We added the wheel system and recommend it for anyone who wants flexibility. The cedar is weathering well and smells nice too. One latch had a bent screw, but they sent a replacement quickly. Overall, this is a high-quality product backed by a responsive company. The cedar is aging beautifully and requires little maintenance. Our only minor complaint is that one of the roof brackets wasn?t pre-drilled, so we had to do that ourselves. Not a deal breaker, but something they could improve. Otherwise, the product is flawless. The hens settled in fast, and the easy-to-clean layout has made our lives much easier. The instructions were good, though could use slightly more clarity on a few diagrams. We still managed to get it assembled over a weekend.
