At Times Overwhelmed by Limited Features

Even though it's affordable, I feel that Patriot has very basic features for our business. While it works with simple payroll, the accounting tools are rather superficial. Not to mention the absence of advanced analytics and integrations compels us to look further. Customer service is good, but it takes longers than you expect in sorting out issues. It's not bad or whatever, but it's not great for scaling companies.

We had several issues with on-time tax filing through Patriot. Although customer support assured us this was unlikely, we did experience problems during critical filing deadlines, leading to penalties. The interface is easy to use, but reliability is much more important than convenience. I would not recommend Patriot if getting your taxes filed correctly and timely matters. We have since switched to a service that meets our needs better.

We began in the basement of a factory (original 1986 video, 3 minutes) with no heat, no air-conditioning, and floors that would flood. Instead of customers, our only visitors consisted of rats, birds, flies, and snakes! Blankets became our office walls. We ran out of money, maxed out our credit cards, and we borrowed from relatives. So, it was 4 years before our employees saw anything that resembled a real paycheck. It was a very rough startup, but we survived it because of grit. 15 - Tally is a modern system that pairs a lower interest line of credit, custom payoff plans, and helpful advice in one easy-to-use app.
