Solid card for credit rebuilding

OpenSky has been solid for rebuilding my credit. The no credit check approval was a big help, and I've seen steady improvements in my score. The fees are a bit high, but overall, I'm happy with the service.

Not worth the fees

Not worth the hassle.

I needed the OpenSky Credit Card to rebuild my credit, but their website and their customer service have been a problem too many times. Not worth the aggravation when better support and lower fees are available in other cards. I would not recommend it for somebody who needs to rebuild credit.

High fees and slow support

I have used OpenSky for about six months now. Although it's been great in helping my credit score, the fees are too costly considering you pay for what you get. Occasionally, the customer service takes too long to respond. To be honest when I needed help with my account I had to wait so long to receive answers-it was frustrating.

Trustworthy and user-friendly

I have had the OpenSky Credit Card for a little over eight months now and it proves to be quite reliable in rebuilding credit. It is relatively simple to apply for the card, and they do not check your credit. It is quite easy to manage this card from your cell phone, and it's very convenient. In my case, I have noticed that my credit score is rising gradually as if expected. My only grouse is that it charges an annual fee, but such benefits are well worth the prices. I would inform any one who is looking forward to get back their credits and wanting hassle-free recovery to opt for OpenSky.

Highly frustrating experience

OpenSky really repaired my credit, but the customer service is awful. The posting is done late and nobody is able to help. It is stressful when you are working hard at getting your credit fixed and the card you use is not working.

Good for rebuilding credit

The OpenSky Credit Card has been an amazing resource to begin rebuilding my credit. I had some bad moments in my financial life, and this card helped me to get out of it. The no-credit-check that was used in the application process made me get started really fast, and with steady progress over the last six months, my credit score is improving. I also like the fee transparency, knowing in advance what I will pay. Whenever I had a question, customer service has been very prompt to date. OpenSky overall is very good service. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to regain their credit score.

Good credit fix option

OpenSky has been very good so far. I applied with poor credit, and that was about when the changes started occurring since I got the card. There was no credit check required, but it does report to the three big credit bureaus, and that really made a difference. My payments are always on time, and it's so easy to manage the app account. My customer service experience has been pretty good as soon as I had questions, but the yearly fee is for the fact that I have already begun seeing results. OpenSky's help for getting my credit in a good standing is on target.

A solid credit-building card

OpenSky has been the perfect credit card for me as I continue to work towards rebuilding my credit after some ill-informed financially-related mistakes. The application process was a breeze without having to endure a credit check, so that was a pretty big bonus in itself. It's now nine months that I've used the card, and I'm happy to say that it's helped me not only preserve but also increase more than 75 points on my credit score! All three of the major credit bureaus report on this card, and it has really kept me in check with building my credit. While the annual fee is higher than many other cards, the benefits of this card have been well worth it. The app is really easy to use, and when I did have a question once or twice, the customer service was excellent. I totally recommended OpenSky to anyone seeking help in rebuilding your credit-it has been very helpful in keeping me on track.

Too many fees for what it offers

Too much fees

OpenSky Credit Card The OpenSky Credit Card helped me rebuild my credit. I do wish they could shave a bit off the fees for what you end up receiving. Not worth the annual fee for the kind of limited benefits you receive. And, quite honestly, their customer service isn't all that great when trying to resolve problems. Good credit builder, but not one of the best.

Gets the job done

OpenSky has helped me rebuild my credit, but it's not without its flaws. The fees are high, and customer service takes forever to respond. Still, it's helped my credit score, so I guess it serves its purpose. Just be prepared for the extra costs.

High Fees and Lacking Perks

OpenSky Credit Card has assisted me in the development of my credit score, but high fees and little added value make it hard for me to see a use for it. The customer service response is slow and too high of an annual fee for what you receive with it. Another secured card has better terms and support that it would be better to just consider that.

Improper payment processing

OpenSky has been fair though, is somewhat problematic with the actual payments processing after I'd already sent them on time. It brought an extra fee, really hurt my credit report. I haven't gotten good support from the customer service; I'm about to cancel the card. Better is yet to come.

Terrible customer service

I've had nothing but issues with OpenSky. The fees are way too high, and the customer service is almost non-existent. I constantly have problems with payments being posted late, and no one seems to care when I call for help. I wouldn't recommend this card to anyone.

Good card, but the fees are relatively costly

I recently acquired an OpenSky Credit Card a few months ago. So far, my credit score has improved because of this card. The ease of getting into an account with no check on credit paid for using this card, since my card reports to all three credit bureaus. However, the fee was relatively too costly, but looking at the improvement of my credit, the amount is fine for now. As far as customer service is concerned, it has been very good, and I have never had a problem in terms of functionality of the card or app. If you want to rebuild your credit, OpenSky seems to be a safe choice, but be prepared to pay for it.

Decent, but not the best

OpenSky is pretty good for a rebuild credit card, but I definitely have seen better. The fees are more than I expected to pay and there's been a couple of instances where my payments go through late. It reports to all three bureaus, so that's a plus, but I am probably going to switch over to a different card.

Not the best choice

I was pretty excited to try and use OpenSky in rebuilding my credit, but as of yet, the experience has been very disappointing. Costs were much higher than I thought they would be-and to top it all off, their customer support is a pain when you really need them. In my book, there are far better secured credit cards with low fees and support.

The best card for rebuilding credit

OpenSky has been an absolute blessing for me. I was experiencing some real credit issues and could not get approved for a card without the help of OpenSky interfering. So the fact that it would not do a credit check really alleviated the whole process. I've had this card now for about a year, and I'm sure to pay my balance in full each month. In about two months now, my credit report has indeed been dramatically improved, and I am finally on the road to financial recovery. Customer service has been great every time I have called and love how easy it was to manage my account via their app. Fees a little high, but well worth it for rebuilding the credit. If you want a card that helps you rebuild your credit, OpenSky is the way to go.

OpenSky is a lifesaver for credit rebuilding

I was in a really tough spot with my credit, and OpenSky came to my rescue. I was approved quickly without a credit check, which made the whole process very stress-free. I have used the card for more than a year, and credit scoring has been improved by more than 80 points. Reporting to all three major credit bureaus has been really helpful for scoring. An application is never very hard to use, and I never experienced making payments or managing my account. Whichever problem that I needed help from customer care responded to it. The fees are a bit steep, but rebuilding my credit is worth every penny to me. OpenSky has been literally a lifesaver and really given me a chance at getting back some control over my situation. I highly recommend them!

Delayed payment processing

I have a myriad of issues with late posting of payments. Although I pay well in advance, OpenSky posts them late and charges me extra fees. Customer service has done nothing, little or next to nothing to try and assist with the problem. Conclusion: I am switching credit card services.

Website issues

Usually, the website of OpenSky is not accessible at the time I am to make a payment. The result was these late fees reflected on my account. After the long waiting times discouraged me, I decided to call the customer services. Rebuilding credit has never been easy at all. Most likely, I'll be out of this card soon.

Great for beginners

For someone such as myself who needs to start or rebuild their credit, OpenSky is a good alternative. About a year ago, I had some bad credit issues, but I got back on track with no checking performed using this card. My credit score is up over 50 points in the past year. It's extremely expensive, but well worth it considering how much it has helped me improve my credit. Just fantastic in that these folks have always been helpful when I needed to reach the customer service. I would recommend this card to anyone who wants to rebuild credit responsibly.

Too many fees

In all, OpenSky has helped me rebuild my credit, but the fees are just too high. The annual fee and extra charges don't make it worth holding the card anymore. There are so many better credit cards that offer much more in the way of services to people attempting to raise their credit scores.

Bad customer services

I must have high hopes because OpenSky has proven to be nothing but a pain in the shape of customer service. I have been calling for weeks about discrepancies in my balance and no one answers in order to actually help me out. Trying to rebuild credit at this time is very frustrating without support.

Does the job, but fees are high

Too many fees

OpenSky has helped my credit, but it's just too pricey. Between that ridiculous annual fee and all the extra charges, I feel like it's not really worth that much. Web issues

The biggest complaint that I have against OpenSky is the website. It seems like it's constantly down when I need to make a payment, so my payment gets locked in and i get overcharged fees. Too bad because customer service doesn't do much to help, taking way too long to get back to you. Helps make the credit improvement process hard to keep on track.

It Works But Has High Fees

Okay, but room for improvement

The OpenSky credit card has not been bad in and of itself for rebuilding my credit, but indeed there are areas to be improved on. Disappointed

OpenSky was always an option for credit repair, but there is just too much of a problem with their customer service. It's often hard to get through to anyone, and when I was finally able to get someone on the phone, they were not very helpful. I probably will try another once I have rebuilt some credit.

Not as I expected

In my quest to reconstruct credit OpenSky sounded like a good choice. Now it doesn't serve me up for all what I wanted. The cost is very high, and the customer service response has been slow. It does report to the credit reporting agencies, but my experience hasn't been a great one.

Not a great experience

Up to date, my experience with OpenSky is not that great. I actually found the fees to be much more than I had expected. I would say their service when one addresses a problem of something wrong in the account was very unresponsive. I got this card because I really wanted a credit so that I could rebuild my credits. But all this makes it a hassle more. I may cancel this card at the earliest.

Mixed experience

OpenSky has been kind of a mixed bag for me. They helped boost my credit score, but customer service always seemed so slow to respond. And the annual fee is pretty preposterously high for a secured card. Of course, it's a good choice if you want to build credit, but that's about it. I want better, more responsive service from my card.

Too many fees

For six months now I used the OpenSky Credit Card. It does assist in building my credit, but the charges are too high, and the annual fee along with all the other fees make it impossible for me to maintain a card in such a negative account. My plan from now forward will be to make the change to a far better card.

Helpful for rebuilding credit

OpenSky has proven to be very helpful toward rebuilding my credit after going through a tough time. It has an easy approval process and no credit check, great for my situation. It reports to all three credit bureaus; I have noticed that since its start, my score has increased because I've been responsible with it. The fee was easily managed, and customer service has been on point thus far. The only thing that keeps me from giving it the five stars is the yearly fee, but otherwise, it has been a good experience and a recommendation for others.

Slow processing

Generally speaking, OpenSky is slightly slower in processing its payments. This resulted in a failure to pay on time, and consequently I was charged late fees. This is annoying because I have been trying to rebuild my credit, and this aspect made things even more complicated than usual. The card itself is not so terrible, but the slow payment processing and lame customer service are major downsides.

Perfect for fresh start

OpenSky Credit Card really is a game-changer. At this point, when I am actively trying to fix my credit, this card has provided an amazing opportunity to start anew. I really appreciate that they use the no-credit-check approval process. This definitely helped me get approved, and so far, I have used the card responsibly to rebuild my score. I also appreciate that they report to all three credit bureaus; over the last year, I really had a really big improvement in my score. Works for credit building, but not ideal

OpenSky does what it says it can do-it reports to the credit bureaus, which is helping rebuild credit. But the ungodly fees are killing me and the not-so-good customer service has made this whole process frustrating. If you want a no-frills credit-builder card it's good, but don't ask for great service or low-fees.

Bad customer service

I went into OpenSky expecting to rebuild my credit; to date, all that I have gotten is issues from their customer service. It kind of feels like it is impossible for anyone to get a quick response, and by the time it arrives, the people cannot answer the questions appropriately. The fee is too high, and overall, it has been a very disappointing experience.

Awesome Credit Builder

It also submits a report to all three credit bureaus, and within six months, I got a stark improvement in my credit score. OpenSky turned my credit around!

I had a bad credit history and didn't know what to do. Then I chanced on OpenSky that literally became a lifesaver. It was really easy to get approved, and there was no need for a credit check, which fell under the right category for my problem. I have been using this card responsibly for close to a year now, and my credit score is over 100 points improved! It's unbelievable how fast I saw results. The fees are a bit high, but I feel it is well worth it just for the possibility of rebuilding my credit. And OpenSky reports to all three major credit bureaus.
