Slow Processing Times
I found the processing to take longer than anticipated. The speed of getting the funds was nowhere near as quick as being touted for the cash. Although the terms of the loans are reasonable enough, waiting for money is nerve-wracking, however. They really should move to increase their response times to match their claims. Service was satisfactory, but added interest was a bit higher than what I was expecting. That made repayment pretty tough to do than I thought. I would recommend using this service in an emergency situation, though; you will have to weigh the cost of borrowing.

Repayment Terms Are Too Strict

Actually, I found the process of applying for a loan with Northern Star Lending relatively smooth; however, the hidden fees and high interest rates totally took me by surprise. Initially, there were pretty reasonable loan terms quoted to me; however, it was when I received the loan agreement that I saw several fees not explained to me before getting those terms. These fees increased the cost of the loan and almost made it impossible for me to repay. The interest rates also seem much higher from other lenders' offers. I had to wait nearly a week before getting confirmation. The worst part was finding numerous hidden charges buried in the small print that were never explained clearly to me when going through the application procedure. That was a huge disappointment and made the loan far more expensive than envisioned. While the company is legitimate, I would advise future customers to read all details very closely and expect delays.

Dishonest Repayment Terms
I was drawn into Northern Star Lending by their advertised flexible repayment terms. Happily, experience proved far otherwise. Repayment terms were indeed flexible, but trying to swap to better meet shifting personal finances, I was told this was impossible. Another thing: the interest on the loan turned out much, much higher than what I thought it would be, and not flexible in terms like they claimed. Consequently, that really puts a lot of pressure on the finances. The whole experience feels like a misrepresentation of their offering, and I certainly would be a long way from borrowing from them again.

Good Service, But Slow Funding
The process itself was easy enough, and customer service was always helpful. The funds weren't there when they were supposed to be, though. It took a tad over three days for the money to find its way into my account, which really wasn't very good considering how urgent things were at the time. In all, I probably will use them again, but funding needs improvement.

A Company You Can Count On, If Not for Unexpected Fees
Northern Star Lending is good in processing my loan approval. Aside from that, they were friendly to have consideration when it comes to customer service. It caught me off guard with additional undisclosed fees on top of the loan. Otherwise, the process runs smoothly; however, on subsequent processes, they need to tell me of additional fees so that I will not be surprised.

Good Loan Terms, But A Lot of Paperwork
The terms of the loan are pretty nice?the terms are easy to understand, and the interest rates I was getting were pretty fair. Paperwork wise, it was too much, slowed it down a bit, though I got my funds within a reasonable period of time, and thank God for a customer support team who guided me through all my documentation.

Efficient, but Lack of Flexibility
The process for approval was very fast, and the deposit took place in no time. But I was really, really unhappy with the repayment process, which was very strict and not that flexible as I expected. It really takes extra time to be able to settle the loan, but they do not accommodate such a request. Highly efficient service, but rigidity about repayment was really an unfavorable point for me.

Awesome Smooth Process Unclear fees
The process for applying was very easy and simple. Getting the funds wasn't a long process at all. However, I was initially confused with the fees. Some of them are buried in the fine print, not explained, and would have been great if they mentioned them upfront; then I wouldn't have felt hoodwinked.

Decent Loan, But High Rates
Northern Star Lending had a good loan process and was approved fairly quickly, but the interest rates were way over what I expected. That's really what made the repayment a little tough. Some lower rates would've helped, but it was fine.

Fast Approval, Bad Customer Service
I liked how quickly it only took for my loan to get accepted, but nobody in customer service would answer me. I had several questions about my loan and could never get a clear answer. The waiting was a long time, and the answering wasn't that helpful, so it was frustrating.

Easy Application, But Delayed Funding
The application process was smooth, but their approval process was rather speedy. For debursals of funds, however, they were glacially slow. I needed the money urgently when it did not come through. They claimed to work faster, so I expected more efficient service. The waiting took much longer than I had anticipated. It cost a pretty penny to wait around.

Great Loan, Lousy Repayment Terms
The loan option was awesome, and the amount borrowed suited my needs just fine. The only reason I would say that this process was somewhat annoying is because of the complicating repayment terms. I just couldn't seem to get my head around the schedule at all, so I ended up calling customer service for clarification several times, which was more time than I could have ever imagined.

Fast Funds, But Confusing Fees
I received my loan funds much more quickly than I had thought, which is a plus. Still, the fees on the loan are quite confounding and not explained very clearly when applying. I feel a bit misled to see all the charges attached with the loan. The communication could have been a lot better upfront.

Not So Clear Terms
The process of applying and their acceptance has proven pretty strong for me with Northern Star Lending, although the conditions attached were somewhat myriad. More importantly, a number of them were not described clearly initially; fine print generally contained much in terms of conditions that become apparent only after application. What made this process unnecessarily complex was the maze of fine print they possessed.

World's Worst Customer Service
The worst experience I had with Northern Star Lending was customer service. My concern about my reimbursement schedule was not possible to get hold of them for days, and when they finally got back to me, the information was useless. I really felt ignored-they didn't have anybody to help me. This made the whole circumstance stressful.

Worse, Hiding Fees and Unclear Terms
I was very glad at first when I was able to get the loan approved almost immediately. Bad, however, was the aftertaste where a lot of hidden fees were charged on the agreement. Some of those charges weren't explained beforehand, and it felt like a punch in the gut when I saw the total amount I'd have to repay. The company needs to have transparency and clarity so as not to deceive its customers.

Loan Took Too Long to Get
The approval for my loan was prompt, but the funding was painfully slow. I had waited only 24 hours for the money, as promised, but it took almost a week. As a result, I missed several important deadlines. Overall, the loan was finally funded, but the funding time was torturous and disappointing.

High Interest Rates for Small Loans
I borrowed a small loan, and the interest rates were much too high for the amount I was borrowing. Altogether, the loan would prove too expensive for me to repay than I initially anticipated, and the monthly payments were hard to manage. Inflexible Terms
The reason I was disappointed was the rigid loan terms. I had some unexpected financial setbacks and tried to manipulate the schedule a bit, but Northern Star Lending didn't want to make any accommodations during tough times. That kind of customer service in a situation like mine was poor.

Not Transparent with Fees
Fees much higher than I anticipated, and they did not clearly explain some fees for me up front. One almost gets the feeling that they are lied to, and when I did call customer service, they took their time to answer me and did not really assist me with the solution. Untransparent for a lender, and I'll go elsewhere the next time.

Terrible Communication and Delays
I encountered several problems with the communication process during my loan application. Even though this application received approval within a few hours, I could never be answered when I inquired about the terms and payment schedule. It also annoyed me that my funds did not arrive on time and without an explanation. This was frustrating and disappointing in general.

Overly Idealistic Repayment Terms
I borrowed a small sum from Northern Star Lending, but their terms did not make any sense. The monthly payments were too costly for me to afford, and I was barely getting along. Lack of Customer Support
Of course, customer service is something severely lacking on the part of Northern Star Lending. I had problems with my loan and tried to get in touch with them a few times for help, but they were useless. The fact that there were delays in getting any responses only made the whole situation even more frustrating, and it was really not a good feeling to be denied a little bit of support during a time that just called for it.

Solicitous and Slow to Respond
The process of getting the loan was okay; however, I had some issues with regards to repayment, to which I had needed assistance. They respond very slowly to my inquiries, and the time that it takes only to get a response that is not too helpful in solving my problem. It added more to the frustration because I had to figure things out on my own.
