Satisfied customer

I have had my auto insurance through NJM for over a year, and I must say I'm quite satisfied with the service. The premium is fair, and I always receive good customer service whenever I question something. Actually, so far, everything is great, and I am confident if I ever needed it, they'd take care of me.

Dependable and Responsive

NJM has been my insurance provider for the past three years, and to say the least, they have been simply fantastic. The competitive rates offered by NJM in combination with excellent customer service make them stand out among other providers. Recently, I had a minor accident, and NJM expediently processed my claim. The adjuster working on my case was professional and kept me updated throughout the entire process. It was pretty smooth and not much to bother me about. And I love about NJM that they really do not try to up-sell me with more unnecessary add-ons. Best Insurance Experience I've Had

Best Insurance Experience

Home Reliable Coverage

Bad Experience with Customer Service

I've been with NJM for some time now, but my last experience was really disappointing. I had a pending claim that needed processing, but the customer service team really was not helpful. They would take a long time to get back to me, and I'd have to follow up and find out what was going on. It pains to have to chase them for answers. While my claim did get processed, the entire situation was far too stressful over something that did not need to be. For a company known for being professional, I expected much better.

Responsible Insurance Company

This is probably over five years since I joined NJM, and the experience has generally been nice. The rates seem pretty competitive, and I feel I get decent coverage for a fair price. Reliable and Professional Service

I have been an NJM customer for six years and have always received the magnificent service that they provide. I have insured my home and car with this company and found them to be pretty reliable. When my house leaked water into the basement, I lodged a claim with them. Well, they handled it so professionally. They came with an adjuster quite promptly, and there was quick settlement. Their customer service always friendly, responsive, and transparent about the whole process. It doesn't get any better than that. Not Happy with How Claims Processed

I left the company after being treated poorly by NJM in terms of claims handling. I had a lousy experience regarding its procedure for claims handling. After I filed a claim, I did not get word about it for more than a week, and therefore needed to phone several times to find out what was going on. Lack of communication is very frustrating, and one would expect to be taken care of, at least here and there, given the stature of this kind of established firm. I do plan on changing providers.

Claims Handling is Slow

The other day, I had to make a claim. I got this process really slow, and it took so long that I kept having to call for updates about the status of my claim. I eventually settled with New Jersey Manufacturers Insurance, but due to them not being quite on the same page about communication, I was really upset about the whole experience.

I have had my policy with NJM for years, yet in the business of making a claim, the process was kind of disappointing. The process for the claim took so long that it was too time consuming in its entirety for everything to get settled. Long Response Times

Having been told good things about NJM, I had decided to switch to them for my home and auto insurance. Worse, in my minor accident, it was frustratingly slow with regards to response time. Days pass before a person is able to get back and let me know what was happening regarding the claim that was filed. It left me hesitant and having stress about the whole episode.

I didn't have any kind of problem with NJM for more than five years. NJM never left me disappointed. The day I went there to sign up, their customer service was fantastic. Failed Communication Norms

New Jersey Manufacturers, filed a claim with NJM, which was really hard to deal with since the accident. The communication was the worst part. Took days to get a response. Had to call multiple times just to get an update. Such a longer process than I thought and didn't feel like they were prioritizing me. Wanted much more from the company itself, as their reputation precedes them.
