Unacceptable delays throughout the loan process. I waited weeks longer than promised and got no clear explanation. Their technology is outdated?website and app often crashed during critical steps. I liked that they sent reminders for deadlines by email and app. Kept me on track. Mortgages are stressful but this helped relieve. A few reminders came too late, but better than none.

Great app interface

The Neighbors Bank mobile app is clean, easy to use for transfers and checking balances. It doesn?t have flashy features but it does what I need. No fees, good APY. Linking external bank took a few tries but eventually worked.

Helpful staff but tech problems

The staff were friendly but I ran into constant technical problems with their website and mobile app. Uploading documents took multiple tries and the site sometimes crashed. It slowed down the entire loan process. I felt like I was waiting too long for approvals and updates. Even though reps were nice, the delays really tested my patience. I?m not sure I?d use them again.

Friendly staff, slow process

Everyone was polite and answered my questions, but the whole mortgage took a lot longer than I was told. Closing kept getting pushed back and I had to call multiple times for updates. Great interest rate

They offer nearly 4.6% APY which is pretty good these days. I opened a savings account and so far it?s reliable. I did have to wait a couple days for micro?deposits to verify an external account, but again that?s standard. App is basic but works well. Very satisfied overall.

Unprofessional and disorganized

I found the process very unprofessional. They lost or misplaced several documents and didn?t inform me in a timely manner. When I reached out, customer service was unhelpful or gave vague answers. The whole thing felt very disorganized. Plus, their website was unreliable and made the process harder. I would not recommend Neighbors Bank.

Helpful but frustrating delays

I liked their team and they tried to be helpful, but the underwriting took longer than promised. Some documents got lost in the system which delayed me by a few days. The mobile app works okay but sometimes it froze during uploads. I got approved but felt stressed because of slow updates. Not the worst experience, but a bit frustrating.

Digital banking works well

I needed an online bank that pays interest ? Neighbors Bank fit the bill. Their website and mobile app are clear and easy to navigate. I did want to deposit cash but they don?t accept cash, which was inconvenient. Transfers and ACH work fine though. Interest rate is fair. Good online option, just plan ahead.

Neighbors Bank says they?ve got over 70 years experience?and they kind of feel it in how confidently they answer questions.
