I would have been a little on the edge going into the experience, but their people ensured that every step went on professionally. Miscommunication Issues
I had hopes for Mr. Cooper, but my experience was derailed with constant miscommunications. I tried to clarify fees multiple times, and each time, it was something different. Once I spoke to a supervisor, everything was cleared up, but it shouldn't have taken so many tries. The online portal wasn't dependable, adding to the frustration. I got the loan I wanted in the end, but I am hesitant to recommend them.

Unimpressed with Customer Service
I have had some difficulty with the customer service of Mr. Cooper. When I wanted to go over options for a short-term deferment, I had to call multiple times to get to a knowledgeable person, but even then, they had vague answers. I just kept getting transferred from agent to agent with no clear answers. This was also frustrating due to website issues. I didn't expect this much hassle to get a clear answer. It felt like I was treated more like a number than a valued customer.

The Worst Customer Service

I have had it tough with Mr. Cooper's customer service. It took multiple calls to reach someone who was knowledgeable to talk about options for a temporary deferment, and even then the responses were vague. I got frustrated as I felt that I was getting bounced from one agent to the next with very little insight into the information given me. Furthermore, navigating the website was pretty frustrating. The fact that you would wait at times made the wait not unbearable, but getting a straight answer didn't require all of that time and energy. You would feel not as if you were valued at your time, especially in tough times.
