I cannot suggest this payday lender to others with high costs and confusing terms.

Hidden Fees and Poor Service
I tried Minto Money when I needed a small loan. Unfortunately, I am sorry that I made this application. For sure, the process of the application was okay, but the money within the time frame was available. Everything else is where everything went wrong. The pay back terms are explained nowhere, but there were all sorts of hidden charges too, which I had not been told about when I applied. The customer service was rude and didn't help me out with my complaints. The bad news was that the interest rates were very high; the loan was much costlier than I had imagined, and I paid much more than I expected. It was a bit inconvenient. I will never make use of their service again.

Even though they fast-tracked to give me the loan, their repayment schedule was sometimes confusing and challenging to grasp. The process was also obscure about how money collected from repaying went between interest and principal, which put me in a position of missing one payment because the information they gave me was unclear. The customer support hardly helped when I requested for clarification about such issues. Higher interest rates made it harder to clear without piling on a mountain of debt. The loan I sought was a short-term loan in support of doing some home repairs. I went to Minto Money, and it was not a very complicated application process, but the terms are not very explicit so that only when my money had arrived did I know that there were some hidden charges not revealed at the beginning. Again, the interest rate was much higher than I would expect, with fees only surfacing after the signing of documents. In order to confirm the charges placed, I had to contact customer service, and they never seemed responsive, taking days before a response would be received.

The interest rate on this loan was absurdly high; to add insult to injury, I was not made aware of the terms prior to signing the agreement.
