Liberty First Credit Union is a financial cooperative that's owned by the people who use it. It started back in 1935 under the name Burlington Employees Cooperative Credit Association and was created to serve railroad employees. Since then, the credit union has opened its doors to more people, including family members, retirees, certain employee groups, and anyone living or working in Lancaster or Seward County, Nebraska. As more members joined, the range of financial services offered has steadily grown to match their needs.
