Helpful for Debt Consolidation
LendingClub has indeed helped me consolidate my credit card debt. I totally loved the transparency they are giving on fees and decent terms. The only would have been the rate that I wished them a little bit maybe lower, but yet not so difficult. So it's always going to help those people who need to make their debt come back on track.

Misleading Rate Information
The first quote I was given was not the quote I received. Application process was fine, but the final rate was far more than I had thought it would be. Even though the funds came in as agreed, I would recommend making sure you understand the final rates before locking into it. LendingClub is easy, but not necessarily clear about final rates.

Platform Not Very User-Friendly
LendingClub's website is terrible to use. Something so important as handling a loan does not deserve to be user unfriendly. Sometimes, I would have to look for very basic information, like how much I owe on my loan or even what my payment schedule is. When I call customer support, they are friendly, but they didn't give me much of a way out. Eventually, they got me the information, but it took too long. The loan itself is fine, but the experience online needs to be improved. If you want a glitch-free digital experience, this service might frustrate you. Hopefully, they update it soon because this could be a great service with a better interface.

Not my best experience with LendingClub. The promoted low interest rate initially looked promising, but the final rate I received was significantly higher, despite having a decent credit score. Lengthy Approval Process
LendingClub boasts of processing loans quickly, but the experience was far from that. This process started out so seamlessly, but it took well over two weeks for that loan to be approved, and the funds to make their way into my checking account. They kept asking me for additional documents, then each time, there is a new delay. It was for an urgent expense and therefore brought a lot of stress on me due to delay. On contacting support, it does not give any proper response or update. The final result was getting the loan, but it wasn't a good experience at all. If you have to get some urgent amount, I would not wait for LendingClub. This process might have been fine if I were not in such a hurry; however, the lengthy duration was the worst thing that happened for me.

I was approved but it took longer than expected for the money to appear in my account. Not as fast as the hype would have you believe, and it's disappointing to find out it takes so long, especially when I am at a point where I'm relying on the speed of things. If you have other options where speed matters, this isn't for you.

Couldn't Reach Support
Sometimes when I wanted options for payments, I was never able to get through and get in touch with anyone in the support. Then, after all these challenges, sometimes it makes a person a bit frustrated mainly when a pressing question has got to be answered. That being said, loan terms are all right; though, in my opinion, they seriously need to figure out on the side of customer response time.

Higher Interest Than Expected
It's only on a few occasions that approval was given, but those times were at a higher interest rate than I anticipated. Loan terms were alright, but not the best offer. Good for if you need cash quick. Just make sure to check rates of some of your competition paydays to get the best bang for your buck.

Poor Customer Service
The application was indeed very simple, but there was a lot of unhappiness in the customer care experience. It was really painful to get my online account on, and no one seems to be available promptly. They could not seem to solve my problem when I had finally managed to get through after so much trouble. This is a service that should actually help people in financial need, but it was about as far from helpful as one can get. Professionally, especially given the level of financial commitment there was not to be expected. My advice to a person considering LendingClub would probably be to take into consideration the comfort level you might have in dealing with potential technical issues because the support you get may not be good enough. I will be paying off this loan but will choose a more helpful lender if I ever need one.

The terms are easy to understand, and the loan amount was perfect for my needs. Clear payment options were given to me, and setting up autopay was very smooth. My only suggestion is to lower the rates a little bit, but I'm satisfied in general.

Interest Rate Much Higher Than Expected
I went for LendingClub owing to the very low interest rate that has been claimed. But the offer given to me was much much more higher than that that had been said. The interest rate wasn't even in the ballpark of what they presented when we went through the pre-approval process, not even close. The entire process took much longer than I had anticipated, and while I got the money, now I'm locked into higher-than-desired monthly payments. Customer service people tried to explain the rate, but sounded more like a sales pitch than help. Okay if you are desperate for money and are willing to pay more for it. However, you want the lowest interest rates anywhere, you will want to be careful of this service. There is way too much going on behind closed doors until the last minute. With the high rate, there is no chance at keeping afloat on top of paying. I would not recommend unless you have done your diligence on all other options first.

Good Experience of Loan
I was very pleased with the service at LendingClub. Funds came quickly, and applying was easy. The pay monthly is not expensive, and that I can view everything online is great, too. If I ever got stuck on something, it was helpful to have guidance via the customer service system. I would certainly pass on the word about this as well.

Limited Repayment Flexibility
I used LendingClub for a personal loan but found it lacked repayment flexibility. The fixed schedule didn?t work well with my varying income, and I couldn?t change the payment date to suit my budget. Customer service informed me that terms were non-negotiable. Although processing was fast, the rigid repayment terms made financial management tough. It?s okay if you have stable income, but not ideal for someone needing flexible payment intervals.

Good Experience Overall
The loan process through LendingClub was smooth; this is very much appreciated on the part of clear methodologies. I find the payment dashboard online useful and makes doing payments simple. Although good customer service was available as needed, interest rates should be balanced with other offerings that exist. Overall it was all a good experience.

Poor Communication
Communication was a problem with LendingClub. During my loan process, I had to call them several times to get updates since they rarely reached out proactively. I submitted all required documents on time, but there were frequent delays and no updates from their end. Responses, when I received them, were usually generic. I expected better communication given the financial commitment involved. My advice is to consider your comfort with potential delays because the support may not be prompt.

Website Glitches
The website would glitch when I tried to check the loan status. It is just so frustrating not to have a seamless digital experience in something like a loan. The customer service was helpful but not ideal for dealing with all these technical issues during the process.
