Order Issues
My last order from Lammes was a little problematic. Although the candies themselves were okay, shipping took considerably longer than estimated, arriving a week after promised delivery. Of course, things can go wrong, but no communication from Lammes was received regarding this delay, which was frustrating. Moreover, one of the gift boxes I ordered was slightly damaged upon arrival. Though it was a minor damage, it was noticeable and therefore worrisome because it was a gift. I wrote to the customer service. Although they were nice, the resolution provided wasn't exactly up to my satisfaction. A little discount on a future order is not compensation enough for the stress and inconvenience.

Quality Control Concerns
I have been a customer of Lammes for several years and have always been impressed by the quality. However, my last order did not quite pass the test. The chocolate-covered pretzels, normally my favorite, tasted a bit stale. The pretzels were soft, and the chocolate coating was not as smooth as it used to be.
