Not Worth It Anymore

I used to enjoy my Ipsy bags, but lately the quality has dropped. More foil packets and less full-size or interesting stuff. I also didn?t see any real customization, despite filling out the profile multiple times. It?s okay for a few months, but it got boring fast.

Great Discovery Tool

I wasn?t super into beauty products before Ipsy, but now I?ve learned what works best for me. It?s fun getting that surprise each month. I?ve discovered so many brands I didn?t even know existed. Some of the samples are small, but they last long enough to test and decide if it?s worth buying full size. I like the mix between skincare and makeup. Sometimes I get things I don?t love, but I just gift those to friends. Overall, the price is reasonable and I really enjoy opening the cute little pink package every time it comes in.

Love It More Every Month

I?ve been using Ipsy for almost two years now and somehow I love it more each month. The customization is better than it used to be, and I usually get 4 out of 5 products that I?m excited about. Occasionally I?ll get something that doesn?t quite match, but I either gift it or use it for travel. It?s helped me discover brands I probably never would?ve tried?Glow Recipe, Kinship, Belle En Argent?just to name a few. Also, the value is unreal. You pay a small amount and get quality products worth way more. The little bags they come in are super useful too; I use them to hold jewelry, cords, or just random stuff. They?re always cute and different. Their add-on shop is great too?I?ve gotten full-size items at a steal. I love the surprise each month. Honestly, it?s just one of those subscriptions I can?t imagine cancelling. Totally worth it.

Not the same anymore

IPSY used to be my go-to for discovering new beauty products, but something has changed. The variety isn?t as good, and the items don?t feel as exciting anymore. I used to love seeing what was coming each month, now I dread seeing the same tired brands and colors. I have way too many neutral lipsticks and black eyeliners now. Their beauty quiz doesn?t seem to affect what they send either. And the prices have gone up while the quality has gone down. I got a damaged item once, and they just gave me points instead of replacing it, which didn?t feel fair. It?s frustrating to be a loyal subscriber and get treated like a number. IPSY could be so much better if they just paid attention to what people want. I?m holding out hope it improves, but if not, I might have to cancel soon.

No Variety

Felt like the same five brands every month. Got bored quick.

Keeps Me Updated with Trends

Ipsy is perfect for someone like me who doesn?t have time to shop but still wants to try trendy stuff. They do a great job of sending new releases or popular items. I get a fun mix of skincare, makeup, and tools. I?ve found some awesome lip products and moisturizers I still use today. It?s not always a perfect match, but for the price, it?s a solid deal. I?ve also learned more about my skin type and preferences because of Ipsy. Honestly, it?s been worth every penny. The monthly surprise is something I always look forward to.

Just Okay

Nothing amazing. Kinda average and repetitive.

img 5/5.0 30, Jun 2025

Best Value for Beauty Lovers

Ipsy gives you a lot of bang for your buck. I?ve found multiple full-size products in my bags and so many minis that are perfect for testing. I love the mix of makeup and skincare?they even throw in a tool or brush sometimes. Not everything is suited to me, but they do a pretty good job overall. Plus, I use the bags for gifting or keeping my bag organized. Ipsy has introduced me to brands I?ve ended up buying full size from later. For $14, you just can?t go wrong. It?s fun and I always look forward to mine.

img 2/5.0 24, Jun 2025

Not for everyone

IPSY seems to work for some people, but for me it didn?t deliver. I don?t wear a lot of makeup, so I set my profile to reflect that, but I still got tons of lipsticks and highlighters. No matter how many times I updated my preferences, the same types of products kept coming. I was hoping to get more skincare or tools, but those were rare. I also didn?t like how they handled subscription management. Pausing or canceling is confusing and not very clear. One month, I tried to skip a bag, but got charged anyway. And the customer service just sent me links to help pages instead of directly answering my question. It?s not a terrible service ? some people may find it fun ? but it?s definitely not for people who want specific types of products. Feels more random than customized. I?m not renewing after this cycle ends.

Great for Gifting and Self-Care

I originally signed up for Ipsy as a gift to myself after finishing a tough semester at college. Since then, it?s become a monthly tradition that I look forward to. Every bag feels personal, from the products down to the little design details. Even if there?s one or two items I don?t use, it?s still worth it because I can gift them or trade with friends. I?ve discovered some amazing lip balms, toners, and blushes through Ipsy. Plus, they include great brushes and tools too. I?ve had zero issues with customer service?they?re always responsive and kind. The best part is that it doesn?t break the bank. It?s affordable enough to feel like a treat, not a splurge. I?ve also gifted subscriptions to my sister and cousin, and they?re equally obsessed. Ipsy isn?t just a beauty box?it?s a small way to practice self-care and have a little fun each month.

img 2/5.0 07, Jun 2025

Didn?t Match Preferences

Marked no eyeliner, kept getting eyeliner. Doesn?t feel tailored at all.

img 1/5.0 02, Jun 2025

Terrible Matches

My profile said light skin, they sent deep-tone concealer.

Absolutely Love My Ipsy Experience

Ipsy has been an amazing addition to my beauty routine. I?ve always loved skincare, but never knew what to try or if it was worth buying a whole bottle. With Ipsy, I get samples I can actually test out before committing. And honestly, I?ve ended up purchasing full-size versions of a few because I liked them that much. The makeup selection is usually pretty good, and I like that they mix in brushes and beauty tools sometimes. The little bags they come in are adorable?I reuse them for travel, purse organizers, and even for gift wrapping. I also really enjoy the app and how you can preview items, rate them, and even customize your bag sometimes. There?s only been one item that came damaged but Ipsy replaced it quickly without a problem. Great customer service! I think this subscription is worth every penny. It?s fun, affordable, and keeps me updated on new trends.

img 1/5.0 15, May 2025

Bad experience all around

I thought IPSY would be a great way to try new products, but I ended up with a collection of things I didn?t ask for and won?t use. It?s like they don?t even read your preferences. I asked for no fragrance, and I got a perfume sample ? twice. Some of the products irritated my skin, and I couldn't even get help to swap or return them. The customer service is slow and unhelpful. The points system is confusing, and redeeming them is a pain. On top of that, they charged me for a bag I had paused, and it took weeks to get a partial refund. I?m really disappointed. I wanted this to be a fun monthly treat, but it ended up being more stress than it was worth. Maybe it works for others, but it was a complete miss for me. Definitely not renewing after this experience.

img 5/5.0 07, May 2025

Been Using It for Years

I?ve been with Ipsy since like 2018 and still enjoy it. There?s months I?m not wow?d but mostly it?s great. Love customizing and rating products. Only complaint is shipping delays sometimes but nothing too bad.

img 2/5.0 19, Apr 2025

Not for Deeper Skin Tones

A lot of the makeup shades I got didn?t suit my complexion. It seems like they don?t consider a wide enough range of skin tones when curating items. I kept giving feedback, but nothing changed. If you?re not fair or light, it?s a bit of a gamble each month.

img 5/5.0 12, Apr 2025

Love the Customization

Ipsy?s quiz actually works for me most times. I get stuff in shades I can use and brands I didn?t know before. Sometimes I peek before my bag arrives cause I get excited lol. Totally recommend.

img 1/5.0 06, Apr 2025

Misleading subscription service

I signed up thinking I?d get top-brand samples like they advertise. Turns out it?s mostly off-brand stuff I?ve never heard of, and a lot of it is repeats. I?ve gotten the same lip balm 3 times in 5 months. When I reached out to ask about it, they basically sent me a copy-paste answer. Not helpful at all. The personalization is a joke. I set my profile for no skincare and only makeup, but they keep sending serums and moisturizers every time. And don?t get me started on canceling. They make it super confusing and then try to keep charging you. Honestly, the whole thing feels shady now. It?s not like it used to be, and I wouldn?t recommend it to friends anymore. If you?re looking for a beauty box that listens or actually gives you what you ask for, you should look elsewhere. This just feels like a waste now.

img 5/5.0 01, Apr 2025

A Fun Way to Explore Beauty

Ipsy makes trying beauty products fun instead of overwhelming. You don?t have to commit to full-size anything?you can just test and move on. I?ve discovered brands like Glow Recipe and Tatcha through Ipsy, which I now love. Some items aren?t my thing, but most are useful. And their packaging is always so cheerful. Love the pink mailer! The customization could still use some work, but it?s definitely gotten better since I first signed up. It?s affordable, reliable, and gives you that little joy boost every month. I?d definitely say go for it if you like variety.

img 5/5.0 27, Mar 2025

A Must-Have for Skincare Lovers

As someone who?s more into skincare than makeup, I wasn?t sure if Ipsy would be a good fit. But I?ve been pleasantly surprised with how balanced their bags are. Every month I get at least 2 or 3 skincare products?cleansers, serums, masks, even exfoliators?and most of them are high quality. They?ve introduced me to some amazing brands I now buy regularly. The rest of the bag usually includes something fun like a lip gloss or highlighter, and sometimes tools like tweezers or brushes. I also love how cute and functional the actual bags are. I?ve used them for everything from storing chargers to holding snacks in my purse lol. It?s a really fun experience to open the bag each month and see what you got. Ipsy makes it easy to discover what works for your skin without spending a ton of money upfront. Highly recommend it for beauty beginners and skincare lovers alike!

img 2/5.0 12, Mar 2025

Same Brands Over and Over

I signed up hoping to discover new beauty brands, but it ended up being the same ones every month. Also, too many skincare items when I marked that I wanted more makeup. It just didn?t feel personalized. Cute packaging, but not enough variety to keep me subscribed.

img 5/5.0 09, Mar 2025

Makes Me Feel Pampered

Ipsy always feels like a mini spa day waiting in the mailbox. The packaging is cute and the surprise factor is fun. I use most of what they send. Sometimes there?s a dud but nothing major. Great deal for the cost.

img 1/5.0 01, Mar 2025

No Stars for Support

Tried to get help and got canned responses every time.

img 2/5.0 24, Feb 2025

Inconsistent Quality

Some months were okay, others were just bad. No consistency at all. Got a broken eyeshadow once and never got a replacement. The bags themselves are cute, but that?s not why I signed up. I wanted solid products, not just pretty pouches.

img 4/5.0 20, Feb 2025

Good But Slow Shipping

Love the products but my bag came a bit late last month. Still, the stuff inside was worth it. Customer support got back to me quick too. I?d give it 5 stars if the shipping was more consistent.

img 1/5.0 10, Feb 2025

Cancelation Nightmare

Tried to cancel twice and still got billed. They make it too complicated.

img 5/5.0 01, Feb 2025

Totally Worth the Price

For what you pay, you get so much value with Ipsy. I love getting 5 new products each month and the quality is usually really solid. Sometimes there?s a miss, like a weird shade or something I won?t use, but most of the time it?s awesome. I?ve found amazing mascaras, moisturizers, and even tools I still use daily. The beauty quiz helps, and the rating system seems to make my bags better over time. Shipping is pretty fast for me and the packaging is always neat. Definitely recommend it if you?re into makeup and skincare but don?t wanna overspend.

img 5/5.0 30, Jan 2025

Perfect for Busy People

I don?t have time to shop for beauty stuff, so this is perfect. Saves me time and introduces me to great stuff. Love the sizes ? they?re perfect for travel. Never had a major issue yet. Happy subscriber.

img 5/5.0 22, Jan 2025

Fun Surprises Each Month

Ipsy is a nice lil suprise every month. I like not knowing what I?ll get and discovering new brands. Sometimes the shades are off but it?s cool to try new stuff. I?ve found some faves I keep buying now. Great for makeup lovers on a budget.

img 2/5.0 03, Jan 2025

Didn?t Listen to My Choices

I asked for no skincare?still got mostly skincare.

img 1/5.0 27, Dec 2024

Got Charged After Cancel

I canceled my subscription, or so I thought, but I still got charged and sent another bag. Tried contacting support, but no clear answer. They just kept repeating the policy. Felt like I was being ignored. Annoying experience and left a bad taste overall.

img 5/5.0 21, Dec 2024

Love the Variety

I love the mix of products. I usually get a mix of skincare, makeup, and sometimes hair stuff. The mini sizes are cute and great for travel. Not everything is a win, but I?d say 4 out of 5 items usually are.

img 2/5.0 17, Dec 2024

Poor Personalization

Ipsy never really nailed my preferences. I kept getting skincare when I wanted makeup. After a few months, it just felt random. Not worth the cost anymore.

img 2/5.0 12, Dec 2024

Over It

Started strong, went downhill. Every bag got more disappointing.

img 5/5.0 24, Nov 2024

Helps Me Try New Things

I wasn?t big on beauty products until I started Ipsy. Now I know more about what I like. I?ve tried different cleansers, serums, and lip stuff I wouldn?t have bought otherwise. It?s fun, low-pressure experimenting.

img 1/5.0 20, Nov 2024

Too Many Problems

From shipping to product issues, it was a mess.

img 1/5.0 12, Nov 2024

Super Delayed Shipping

My order took forever to arrive?like three weeks after the tracking number was sent. And it wasn?t even worth the wait. Products were tiny and not suited to my skin tone. Tried contacting support, but they just gave a generic response. I expected more care from a beauty subscription.

img 5/5.0 08, Nov 2024

Great Gift and Treat for Myself

I signed up for Ipsy as a treat to myself during lockdown and never looked back. It?s been over a year and I?m still a happy customer. I even gifted subscriptions to two of my friends. They love it too! The quality is mostly consistent and I like the mix between indie brands and well-known ones. A few misses here and there, but that?s rare now. The packaging is always neat, and I love reusing the glam bags. For what it costs, I think you get a solid deal. It feels like a little dose of happy in the mail.

img 1/5.0 18, Oct 2024

Poor quality control

I?ve had multiple issues with my IPSY bags ? broken powders, dried-out mascara, and leaky tubes. It?s like no one checks these before shipping them out. Some products look like they?ve been tossed around or are expired. The packaging on a couple of things didn?t even look sealed. I don?t feel comfortable putting that stuff on my face. The worst part is, when I emailed about it, they just gave me points, not replacements. And those points don?t go far. I also find the product sizes getting smaller and smaller. For a while I tried to stick with it, but it feels like quality is no longer a priority. I?m disappointed because the idea is fun ? a beauty surprise each month ? but when the surprise is broken or unusable stuff, it?s not fun anymore. Wouldn?t recommend unless they start caring more about what they send.

img 2/5.0 09, Oct 2024

Too Many Skin Products

I kept getting facial creams and serums even after I selected makeup-focused options.

img 5/5.0 05, Oct 2024

Fun, Affordable, and Useful

I wasn?t sure I?d like a beauty subscription, but Ipsy totally changed my mind. It?s been about 7 months and I still look forward to it. I get to try high-end brands I wouldn't normally buy. A couple products were too bold for my style, but most have been really good. The customization quiz helps and it seems to get better the more you rate things. The bags are always adorable and reusable. Great for travel or storage. It?s a super affordable way to treat yourself without feeling guilty. Honestly recommend it to anyone wanting to explore beauty more.

img 2/5.0 30, Sep 2024

Customer service needs serious work

IPSY's actual product variety is okay, I?ve liked a few bags, but the issue is when there?s a problem. I got a completely wrong bag once ? not even the same products or shade range. Tried to contact customer service, and the process was awful. First, there?s no phone support, just a chatbot and a form that takes forever. Then you get generic responses that don?t solve anything. It took over two weeks to get a resolution, and even then, they didn?t refund me or send the correct products ? just a few extra points, which didn?t cover the value. I kept hoping they?d improve, but it seems like customer care is just not a priority. It?s frustrating because I love the concept, but I need to feel like I matter as a customer. Too many mistakes and too little effort to fix them makes it hard to stay subscribed.

img 5/5.0 26, Sep 2024

Worth Every Penny

For what I pay, it?s totally worth it. Good product variety, and the little bags are reusable for travel or gifts. Not every shade works for me, but I gift those to friends. Been happy with the quality so far.

img 4/5.0 20, Sep 2024

Mostly Happy With My Bags

The makeup bags are cute and the products are mostly good. I got some skincare I didn?t expect to love but now use daily. Some repeats or small sizes happen, but still fun to get each month. It?s worth trying.

img 5/5.0 02, Sep 2024

So Much Value in Every Bag

What I love most about Ipsy is that it doesn?t feel like just a subscription?it feels like a small celebration every month. The variety of products is great, and I?ve found items that I probably never would?ve tried if not for Ipsy. Some of them have become my go-to products! The mini sizes are ideal for testing, and a few of the ?deluxe samples? last longer than expected. I also really appreciate the packaging. Everything arrives in good shape and the glam bags are super functional and cute. I?ve used them as makeup pouches, storage for chargers, and even as mini first-aid kits in my bag. Their add-ons are another plus?so many full-sized items for great prices. I had one delivery issue and customer service was helpful and fast. Ipsy really puts effort into creating a positive experience, and that?s why I?ve been a happy subscriber for over a year now.

img 1/5.0 30, Aug 2024

Repeat Items Again?

Got the same mascara 3 times in 4 months. That?s not variety.

img 5/5.0 28, Aug 2024

My Favorite Subscription

I?ve tried other boxes and this one?s the best. The price is fair, and I actually use most of what they send. The points system is cool too. I redeemed mine for a lip balm I love.

img 2/5.0 06, Aug 2024

Bad Matches Every Month

I was excited to try Ipsy but ended up being so frustated. Every month I?d get shades that didn't match my skin tone at all. I selected light/neutral and kept getting deep bronzers or foundations too dark. The worst part was getting repeat items I?d already rated low. I kept adjusting my beauty quiz, but it didn?t make a difference. The surprise element was fun at first, but then it started to feel like I was just stockpiling random stuff. Not to mention the wait time for shipping was inconsistent?some bags came really late. Their support just sends automated replies. The idea is great, but execution falls flat. For the money, I?d rather just pick my own products elsewhere. The subscription feels like gambling?you may get lucky, or you may end up with a bunch of stuff you?ll never use. Wouldn?t recommend for people with specific preferences.

img 2/5.0 21, Jul 2024

Duplicates Again and Again

I got excited when I saw the brand names at first, but by month three, I was getting repeats of stuff I hadn?t even used up yet. Not enough variety to feel like I?m discovering new things. Feels lazy and not well curated.

img 2/5.0 13, Jul 2024

Too Many Tiny Samples

Most of the items I got were sample sizes I could get free at Sephora. A few were okay, but overall, it didn?t feel like I was getting value. Not what I expected when I paid for a subscription. It might work for others, but it wasn?t a good fit for me.

img 4/5.0 07, Jul 2024

Great, but Repeats Happen

Overall I?m a fan, but I?ve gotten repeat items once or twice. It?s not a huge deal, just something to note. Other than that, love the variety and price. Fun way to explore new stuff.

img 5/5.0 03, Jul 2024

Perfect Way to Explore New Beauty Products

Ipsy has really helped me branch out and explore all kinds of beauty brands I?d never even heard of before. I used to be stuck buying the same things over and over, but now I get to test stuff I wouldn't normally pick. Some of the sample sizes last longer than expected, especially skincare items. I also love the mix of known brands like Tatcha or Benefit with up-and-coming ones. Occasionally I get a color I won?t wear, but I just give it to my sister. The customization quiz is actually kinda accurate if you keep rating products. And their points system is a nice touch?I redeemed for a full-size highlighter once! The shipping?s usually on time, and everything comes packed nicely. For the price, it feels like you?re getting way more than what you pay. I?ve been with Ipsy for 18 months now and I?m still loving it.

img 4/5.0 21, Jun 2024

Could Be More Personalized

Overall I like it, but sometimes I feel like the quiz doesn?t work right. Still, I get excited every time. The samples are useful, and I?ve discovered a couple fav brands through this. Price is reasonable for what you get.

img 1/5.0 15, Jun 2024

Shipping Always Late

Every bag came super late. It just made the whole experience frustrating.

img 2/5.0 09, Jun 2024

Good Start, Then Decline

My first few bags were pretty fun, but then it felt like they stopped paying attention to my preferences. Got shades I?d never wear, and weird skincare for my skin type. Kinda feels like they just toss random stuff in. It?s disappointing because I was excited in the beginning.

img 5/5.0 04, Jun 2024

Such a Fun Subscription

Ipsy makes trying new beauty products so easy and fun. I really like that I get to customize my preferences, and they actually do a decent job matching me with things I like. It?s not always 100% perfect, but I?d say 4 out of 5 items each month are a hit. The sample sizes are great for travel and I?ve ended up purchasing full sizes of things I never would?ve known about. Also, the makeup bags are just adorable?I use them all the time. It?s affordable and a great little treat to look forward to every month.

img 1/5.0 27, May 2024

Canceled Too Late

I tried to cancel before the next billing cycle, but they still charged me. Turns out, you have to cancel way in advance. Felt like a trick to get one more charge. Definitely not the most transparent policy, which left me frustrated.

img 5/5.0 22, May 2024

Best Subscription I?ve Had

I?ve tried a couple subscription boxes over the years, and Ipsy is the only one I?ve stuck with. It?s affordable, fun, and I actually use most of the stuff I get. I like how they personalize it to my preferences and skin tone. I?ve gotten everything from highlighters to serums and brushes. Sometimes the shades aren?t perfect, but I just swap with my sister or give it away. Plus, those bags are useful for organizing in my purse or suitcase. It?s a great way to try new products without spending full retail price. So far, really happy with it.

img 1/5.0 14, May 2024

Customer Service Is Terrible

When I had a missing item, support took forever to respond. No real help. Disappointed.

img 2/5.0 10, May 2024

Pretty Packaging, That?s It

Loved the makeup bags?they were actually cute. But the contents didn?t match my profile at all. Also got expired-looking items once, which was a red flag. Customer service wasn?t helpful either. I ended up canceling after a few months. The concept is nice, but it needs better execution.

img 1/5.0 23, Apr 2024

A Total Letdown

I gave Ipsy a solid try for 6 months and honestly regret it. I was super excited about the idea?affordable samples, personalized picks, cute bags. But month after month, I kept getting stuff I didn?t want or couldn?t use. Eyeliners in colors I?d never wear, skincare for oily skin even though I marked dry, and once even a broken lipstick. I contacted customer service and got a generic apology with no real solution. It?s also annoying that full-size items are constantly pushed in emails but rarely part of the regular subscription. Felt more like a marketing gimmick than a real beauty service. I cancelled, but even after that, I was still charged. Took weeks to resolve. It felt more stressful than fun. A beauty box should feel like a treat?not a disappointment. Definitely not the experience I hoped for. Wasted too much time and money on this.

img 1/5.0 15, Apr 2024

Disappointed

I really wanted to love it, but the selections were always off.

img 4/5.0 12, Apr 2024

Pretty Good Overall

Been with Ipsy for 6 months. Mostly happy. I?ve gotten some cool items and a few that didn?t match my profile. I still enjoy the experience though. It?s affordable and keeps me updated on new trends.

img 5/5.0 24, Mar 2024

Nice Little Surprise Box

Ipsy?s like a surprise party in the mail. Some items are small but good enough to try out. I?ve bought full versions of some things after testing them here. Plus, the bags are just adorable.

img 2/5.0 12, Mar 2024

Feels Automated

Like a machine chooses for you, not a person.

img 1/5.0 06, Mar 2024

Unhelpful Customer Service

I had an issue with billing and tried to get in touch with Ipsy. Took forever to hear back, and when I did, the response didn?t even address my concern properly. Just felt brushed off. Products aren?t bad, but if something goes wrong, don?t expect good support.

img 5/5.0 04, Mar 2024

Great for Trying New Brands

Ipsy helped me find brands I didn?t know about before. I?m more into skincare and they deliver a good mix. Love getting that pink bag in the mail. The personalization isn?t perfect but close enough. Def recommend.

img 1/5.0 26, Feb 2024

Cancelled For a Reason

It stopped feeling fun and started feeling like junk.

img 4/5.0 15, Feb 2024

Fun Subscription

I really like ipsy! Got some stuff I love and some that weren?t my style. It?s still cool to try new brands. Sometimes wish they had bigger sizes but it?s good enough. The little makeup bags are cute too.

img 5/5.0 12, Feb 2024

So Cute and Convenient

What I love most about Ipsy is how easy it makes exploring new products. I used to buy full-size stuff and regret it later. Now, I get to try everything in a mini version first. I?ve discovered some holy grail items this way. Even the bags themselves are so cute?I save them all! Some items are tiny, but still enough to use a few times. I like how they mix known brands with new ones. Shipping is reliable and I never had any major problems with customer service. I?ve recommended it to friends and they all enjoy it too.

img 2/5.0 05, Feb 2024

Subscription Felt Repetitive

I liked the idea of getting surprises, but after a few months, the products started feeling the same. Lots of repeat brands and tiny sizes. I didn?t feel like I was getting good value anymore. It?s not terrible, but not worth continuing for me. Customer service was meh when I tried to cancel too.

img 2/5.0 30, Jan 2024

Too Many Subpar Brands

Most items were from unknown brands that didn?t work well.

img 1/5.0 21, Jan 2024

Don?t Waste Your Money

There are better beauty boxes out there.

img 5/5.0 18, Jan 2024

Cute and Affordable

This is the most afforadable subscription I?ve kept. Every month feels like a gift. Love the packaging and trying new stuff without spending full price. Even got my sister into it. One product was leaky once but they replaced it.

img 5/5.0 09, Jan 2024

Worth Every Penny and Then Some

I was honestly hesitant about subscribing to Ipsy at first, but I?m so glad I did. For a small monthly price, you get a personalized collection of products that actually help you learn more about what you like. I?ve tried some fantastic mascaras, moisturizers, and serums through this service. They do a great job mixing up the types of products so you don?t feel like you?re getting the same thing every time. Plus, the quality has been really consistent. I?ve received items from recognizable brands like First Aid Beauty, and even some indie ones that I?ve come to love. The packaging is super cute and feels like you?re opening a present every month. I?ve even gifted subscriptions to two friends and they?re loving it as well. If you enjoy beauty products, this is such a simple way to keep things fresh and exciting. I?m definitely sticking with Ipsy for the long run.

Too Many Foil Packets

I didn?t sign up for foil packets and perfume samples. I thought I was getting real product sizes, but most of it was stuff I could try at a department store counter. Felt like a rip-off. I canceled after two months.

Pretty Bags, Lame Stuff

The cosmetic bags are cute, but the stuff inside? Mostly useless for me.

img 4/5.0 15, Dec 2023

Decent Subscription Box

Ipsy?s not perfect but still one of my favorite boxes. Some brands are lesser known but that?s kinda the point. The personalization is getting better over time too. I like the surprise element every month.

Just not impressed anymore

When I first joined IPSY, I was excited every month to open my glam bag. But over time, the excitement faded. The products started feeling repetitive, and the makeup brands were ones I didn?t recognize or want. The app is okay but clunky sometimes, and I feel like they just stopped trying to match my profile preferences. I?ve marked several items I don?t want, like eyeliner, but I keep getting them. What?s the point of having preferences if they?re ignored? I also got a few damaged items and didn?t get much help from support. I don?t think they even read what I wrote, just responded with a generic email. It?s not about being perfect, but at least try to make the experience personal. IPSY just doesn?t give the value or experience it used to. I?ll probably finish the year and then cancel. It?s just meh now, sadly.

Nice Gifts for Myself

I look forward to ipsy every month. It?s fun to open and feels like a gift. I've been able to try brands like Tatcha and Benefit. Some are hit-or-miss but most are solid. Never had shipping problems either.

img 1/5.0 19, Nov 2023

Annoying Billing Issues

Got charged after canceling. Took days to get refunded.

My Beauty Game Has Totally Changed

Before Ipsy, I was clueless about makeup and skincare. I?d walk into a store and just feel overwhelmed. Ipsy made learning so easy. I get a curated selection of products every month, and it?s actually helped me figure out what works for me. I?ve learned how to build a basic skincare routine, and even discovered my perfect lipstick shade thanks to one of the bags. The sample sizes are generous enough to test, and I?ve purchased full-size items based on what I loved. Also, Ipsy is way more affordable than randomly buying full-size stuff that ends up unused. I also like how I can rate items to improve my future picks. The glam bags are adorable and practical?I keep every single one! Overall, Ipsy has changed the way I shop for beauty products, and it?s honestly made me more confident in what I use. Highly recommend it for beginners and pros alike.

img 2/5.0 05, Nov 2023

Meh Experience

I thought I?d love getting monthly beauty samples, but it just didn?t wow me. Some items were fine, others felt like filler. I wanted more excitement or a better sense of value. It?s okay, but not as great as social media makes it seem.

Ipsy is My Favorite Monthly Surprise

I?ve been an Ipsy subscriber for over two years now and I still get excited every time my pink bag arrives. It?s such a fun and affordable way to try out new beauty products without breaking the bank. I love that you get a mix of makeup and skincare, and they even throw in tools sometimes like brushes or sponges. The bags are super cute too?I have a whole drawer full that I use for organizing everything. Not every item is perfect for me, but I?d say 90% of what I get is stuff I actually use or gift to friends. The personalization quiz seems to help with getting better matches, and I?ve definitely discovered some favorite brands through Ipsy. Customer service has been great the couple times I reached out. Honestly, it just feels like a little treat every month and I look forward to it. Totally worth the price.

img 1/5.0 25, Oct 2023

Subpar and not user-friendly

I was excited to try IPSY, but my experience was not great from the start. The sign-up process was confusing, and the site was glitchy. I didn?t receive a tracking email for my first bag, and when I reached out, I got no answer for days. When it finally arrived, the items didn?t match my preferences at all. I got skincare when I asked for makeup. The quality of some products felt like dollar store brands, and a few had broken packaging. Canceling was another nightmare. I thought I canceled, but they charged me again and told me I hadn?t completed the process. It feels like they try to trap you into staying. I get that it?s a budget beauty box, but even at a low price, I expect better. I wouldn?t recommend this to anyone looking for a reliable, customizable experience. Save your money and buy what you actually want.

Good for Teens Too

Got this for my daughter and she loves it. It?s a fun way for her to learn about skincare and makeup. I check the products first to be safe. Most of them are totally fine for young skin.

img 4/5.0 12, Oct 2023

Solid Value

For $14, it?s a really good deal. I don?t expect high-end everything, but I?ve gotten some nice surprises. A couple things didn?t match my skin tone but still fun to try. Good way to explore beauty without overthinking.

img 2/5.0 06, Oct 2023

Not Worth It Anymore

Was fun at first, but quality dropped fast.

img 2/5.0 23, Sep 2023

Not My Style

I got bold lip colors I never wear. Feels like they don?t actually read your profile.

img 1/5.0 19, Sep 2023

No Tracking Updates

I paid for expedited shipping but didn?t get any tracking updates until a week later. The bag came super late, and I?d already moved on from the excitement. The experience was underwhelming, and I wasn?t impressed by the products when they finally arrived.

img 4/5.0 15, Sep 2023

Good Bag, Minor Issues

I like Ipsy a lot but wish I could pick more items. Some of the ?personalized? picks feel random. That said, I do find a few gems every month. Cute bags too ? I use them for organizing my purse.

img 2/5.0 04, Sep 2023

Disappointed with monthly picks

Honestly, IPSY used to be a fun monthly surprise, but lately it?s been a let down. The customization just doesn?t work right. I picked certain brands or items and still got stuff that has nothing to do with my profile. I don?t use half the stuff they send. The quality of items seems to have gone down too, and a few times I got broken or open products. Trying to get help from customer service is like talking to a wall. You just get automated replies and it takes forever for someone to actually respond. I?ve been subbed for a while, but I?m considering canceling soon if things don?t improve. It?s just not worth the price anymore. You expect better when you pay monthly, not to feel like you?re being ignored or just tossed whatever?s left. Really hoped it?d stay as fun as it used to be.

img 1/5.0 28, Aug 2023

Random Products

I really tried to like Ipsy, but the products just weren?t right for me. Even after updating my quiz, I got shades that didn?t match or skincare that irritated my skin. It?s like they don?t read your profile at all. Felt like a waste of money.

img 2/5.0 20, Aug 2023

Looks Better Than It Is

Good marketing, bad results. Wasn?t impressed.

img 4/5.0 14, Aug 2023

Not Bad At All

It?s pretty fun. I wasn?t sure I?d like Ipsy, but it?s been a nice surprise. Some items feel a bit repetitive but that?s rare. I like the skincare the most. Worth it if you?re into beauty stuff.

img 5/5.0 06, Aug 2023

Exciting Every Month

Honestly love getting that glam bag. Makes my month a little brighter. The variety is cool ? from skincare to tools to makeup. Some items are tiny but still good to test. I?ve made a few full-size purchases after trying them here.

img 5/5.0 01, Aug 2023

Been Hooked Since Day One

I?ve been using Ipsy for about a year and haven?t skipped a single month. Every time I think about pausing, I get excited for what the next bag might have. It?s seriously addictive in a good way. I?ve gotten to try so many items I never would?ve bought myself. The sizes are great for sampling, and some even last a while. I like skincare a lot and they always give a nice balance. Their add-ons are also a cool feature?I?ve scored full-size items for cheap. Ipsy keeps getting better and better and I don?t plan to cancel anytime soon.

img 5/5.0 26, Jul 2023

My Monthly Self-Care Moment

Ipsy has kind of become a monthly self-care ritual for me. I love opening my glam bag and testing out the products. It makes me feel like I?m treating myself even on a budget. Some items don?t match my preferences perfectly, but that?s part of the fun. I?ve been introduced to so many brands I now use daily. The bags are always so cute, and I even use them to store jewelry and small things. Their website is easy to navigate too. Ipsy honestly helped me learn more about makeup and skincare without being overwhelmed or spending a ton.

img 1/5.0 23, Jul 2023

Hard to Cancel

Tried canceling my subscription three times, and it still charged me. Had to contact support multiple times, and they weren?t very helpful. Felt like I was going in circles. I liked some of the products, but not worth the hassle to stop the boxes from coming. Really frustrating overall experience.

img 1/5.0 19, Jul 2023

Makeup All Wrong

I got foundations way too dark for me. Nothing matched.

img 4/5.0 14, Jul 2023

Good Value for Samples

Ipsy is pretty good for the price. Some products I love, others not so much, but it?s fun to get them anyway. I?ve def tried things I wouldn't have bought on my own. Bag quality can be hit or miss but overall worth it.

img 2/5.0 07, Jul 2023

Disappointed After Years

I used to be a huge fan of Ipsy but over time, the quality of products just dropped. I was getting repeats, sample sizes of things I never use, and way too many skincare items I didn?t need. I updated my profile multiple times but nothing changed. Also, their customer service is hard to get ahold of, and they keep pushing you to upgrade instead of solving the issue. I feel like they?re just trying to upsell instead of making the base subscription worth it. The packaging and presentation are nice, but what?s the point if the products inside are a miss? It?s really disappointing because I was a loyal subscriber for over three years. Now I feel like I wasted so much money on things I never even opened. I finally cancelled and moved on. I really wanted to love Ipsy again, but it?s just not worth it anymore.

img 1/5.0 30, Jun 2023

Waste of Money

Felt like I was paying for samples I could get free elsewhere.

img 2/5.0 26, Jun 2023

Meh, not worth the hype

Everyone on social media hypes up IPSY like it?s the best thing ever, but it didn?t live up to my expectations. Most of the products feel cheap, and they don?t seem to pay attention to my preferences. I set my profile for light skin tone, and I still got foundation way too dark. And then there?s the glam bag design ? some are cute, but others are just weird or too childish. Also, I kept getting repeat items like the same lip gloss and eyeshadow color. Their ?deluxe samples? are often tiny. And when I tried to get help or a replacement, it took a long time. They don?t even offer phone support, which is annoying. For the price, I thought I?d at least get better service and more thoughtful selections. I think I?ll go back to just buying makeup I want instead of wasting money on random stuff.

img 2/5.0 12, Jun 2023

Poor Matching System

The personalization isn?t really there. I kept getting products I didn?t want or couldn?t use. For example, I marked no eyeliners, and they still sent three in a row. It?s like the quiz does nothing. Not totally terrible, but not worth keeping either.

img 4/5.0 03, Jun 2023

Reliable Subscription Service

Been using Ipsy for over a year now. Delivery is mostly on time, and customer service helped me once with no fuss. I don?t love every item, but most are great quality. The bags themselves are adorable too. Great experience so far.

img 5/5.0 22, May 2023

My Favorite Little Treat

Ipsy is like a treat to myself every month. Always excited to see what?s inside. Their quizzes could be more accurate, but I?ve found lots of stuff I never would?ve tried otherwise. Def recommend if you like experimenting.

img 5/5.0 14, May 2023

Great Mix of Products

Each bag is usually a great mix of stuff. I like skincare more than makeup and I get a good balance of both. I?ve only had one broken item and it was replaced quick. Good customer service.

img 2/5.0 09, May 2023

Meh Products

Cheap-feeling samples and brands I?ve never heard of. Expected better.

img 2/5.0 04, May 2023

Wasn?t For Me

I like the idea, but not for someone picky with beauty.

img 5/5.0 01, May 2023

Ipsy Helped Me Build a Routine

I never had a proper skincare or beauty routine until I tried Ipsy. It?s actually helped me understand what works best for my skin and what products to avoid. I love getting a mix of makeup and self-care items. I even got a jade roller once! Everything?s packaged nicely and comes in cute little bags that I keep or gift. I?ve had one or two delivery issues but customer service handled it quickly. For someone who doesn?t like shopping much, this makes life easier. Definitely worth it if you want to explore without committing to full sizes right away.

img 1/5.0 20, Apr 2023

Low-Quality Items

The lipstick broke the first time I used it. Not cool.

img 4/5.0 17, Apr 2023

Good but Could Improve

Ipsy?s pretty fun and I do enjoy getting makeup monthly. Some items feel really random tho even after I update my profile. Still, I?ve found some awesome mascaras and lip glosses I use daily now. Pretty happy overall.

img 1/5.0 14, Apr 2023

Just Disappointing

I was really looking forward to trying Ipsy, but the stuff I got wasn?t exciting. One product had leaked, and another smelled weird. I emailed customer service, and it took forever for a response. Just not what I expected for a beauty subscription.

img 5/5.0 10, Apr 2023

Been With Ipsy for Years

I?ve been an Ipsy subscriber since 2019 and honestly, I still get excited every time my glam bag shows up. It?s like a small gift to myself every month. Not every single product is a win, but majority of them are great. I?ve discovered so many cool skincare brands through Ipsy. The bags are super cute too?I use them to organize everything. Customer service has been helpful when I needed them. Only minor issue is sometimes the colors don?t match my skin tone but that?s rare now. Overall I?d say it?s worth it and fun to keep.

img 2/5.0 06, Apr 2023

Not What I Expected

The hype didn?t live up. Colors were wrong, products repeated. Just not exciting after a while.
