Renting from Invitation Homes has had its ups and downs. On the one hand, the home that I live in is decent, was clean upon move-in, but quite significant issues with services have made me frustrated. In short, it took this maintenance crew ages to respond to my repair requests. Their customer service hardly helps me every time, either. It had to take several calls for follow-ups to finally gain answers, but then vague ones with long waits to boot. It is so disappointing as I have seen that their properties are pretty good. I adore my home; however, if I'm being honest, I would not recommend Invitation Homes to anyone after my recent experience with customer service. There seems to be a relationship gap between property management and tenant support that definitely needs attention.

Average rental experience for my stay with Invitation Homes. The property is good, but the maintenance issues I face continuously have not been attended to in a timely fashion. I requested maintenance on a problematic faucet, which took them a week to respond. The customer service is polite but not very efficient. Frustrating Experience with Maintenance
I expect so much from Invitation Homes when I signed the rental property deal. But things have been really disappointing so far. In fact, the house I transferred into has numerous unattended maintenance issues. This took weeks before it was fixed, and every time I asked for updates, I felt totally ignored. The processes of their customer service were frustrating since it seemed sometimes they did not care. They promised a maintenance technician would come, but they failed to make it on more than one appointment. This kind of service level is not acceptable, especially considering we are paying a premium rate to live in this apartment complex. Considering their reputation, I would have expected them to be much more reliable. So at this point, I am really considering moving out because I cannot stay in an apartment that seems to not take the time to be properly maintained. Hopefully, they can do better for their next tenants, but at this point, I wouldn't recommend them to anybody based on my experience.

A review of Invitation Homes: I have been living in the rental property managed by Invitation Homes for about six months. I am really interested in the house, but pretty disappointed with the services. The application process was pretty smooth, though. As for after moving in, though, I really had a lot of issues that needed maintenance. It didn't go as well as I had expected. It would usually take a few days before getting a response to my requests, and maintenance came only to not entirely fix the problems that had been raised. Sometimes, customer support was fine, but there is something about delays and lack of follow-through that makes this process frustrating. I was expecting so much from my rental, so service-wise, improvements need to be there to level out with how impressive their property is. And hopefully, later on, they will develop a better sense of responsiveness.
