Missed Opportunities for Communication
I thought the Homebridge team was attentive enough until halfway through the process, the missing communication, I caught myself calling my loan officer frequently with no timely answer. The whole process was frustrating, often and must be done by myself. The service is not what I thought it should be. Definitely would not return.

Was really disappointed by how long it took to close my loan with Homebridge. People are very friendly, but the process was a long time, and I didn't get too many updates as to what was going on. Rates soared without so much as a whisper about the additional charges and we were left with a significantly greater rate than agreed on. Their reasoning was vague, leaving me feeling misled. Disappointedly Processing and Delays
I had a very bad experience at Homebridge. There were huge delays and they never communicated with the individuals about processing any case. They started off really well, but once the process began, everything seemed to slow down and drag on to an absurd amount of time, all without updates. Each time I tried to get an update on the status, I was given a different answer from a different person. Several crucial documents were asked to submit time and again, and the final date was extended for successive times without a proper rational. I had planned my whole plan according to their first scheduled timeline, so that was really frustrating. I did expect something better in organization and communication. Overall, it wasn't the experience I expected for smooth working.

Constantly Changing Terms and Rates
Exercising Frustations: the homebridge experience. They quoted me a very competitive rate to start off with, but by the middle of the process, the rate changed and did not explain much. Every time I quizzed them with, I received very vague responses and no clear answers. It seems like they didn't quite make any transparent terms, and at the end of it, I was all blindsided. It ended up costing me hours redoing paperwork and made me want to get out of the deal at times. Poor communication was involved, and they treated me as if I were a number rather than a valued customer. Anyone looking for real clear and reliable service will not be giving them a chance in the least.

Not the Best Customer Service
Homebridge was not a terrible option, but the support for the customer was an absolute disaster. Each time I sought answers, I found myself waiting on hold or switched to someone who could not solve my issue. It seemed no one could clearly answer, so I found myself having to email the same question, repeatedly. Most often my emails were not returned to me, making me feel like they weren't even reading them. It wasn't until after hours that we discovered some things that could have been clarified for a better understanding. To my understanding mortgages are pretty finicky; however, I am willing to hire anyone to do anything with property, so I would expect a little more professionalism from them.

Dishonest Promises and Lousy Follow Through
Homebridge in its promises it could not deliver. Promising a smooth, on-time process they would take several times longer. They communicated very poorly and I had to ask for updates constantly throughout. Some terms of the deal changed right before closing in ways that made me quite feel ill-treated. I found it had a lack of transparency, and my trust in them went downhill through the course of time. My close with them had to happen, however it was a painful frustrating experience for sure. I will not be recommending this company to anyone else simply because of what transpired through this case.

Run by Dysfunction and Overcomplicated
The Homebridge group during my loan process was disorganized in my opinion. Documents would go missing in the system, deadlines would pass, and it was just a repetition of everyone needing to call me to ask for the same thing over and over again. The communication was about as poor as it could be- in other words, as spotty as it could be because there always seemed to be a delay before I heard any sort of update on anything. One time, I was passed around to three representatives, and none of them knew anything about my case. By the time we closed, I was pretty much exhausted from constantly having to run the process myself. I expected to find professionalism and some sort of efficiency; instead, that was what I got. The experience felt somehow unnecessarily complicated, and I didn't feel like I should have opted for them.

Effortless Mortgage Process with Excellent Communication
The mortgage process that Homebridge initiated could not have been much easier than what I had envisioned for the very first consultation and made sure that they would explain every step to me and keep me assured in every possible way.
