Vague instructions and lots of stairs
The listing mentioned stairs, but didn?t clarify that it was four narrow flights with no elevator. I had a heavy suitcase, and it was a real struggle. When I asked the host for clarification beforehand, they sent a generic response like ?it?s easy to access.? Well, it wasn?t. Once I got in, the place was okay, but not great. Instructions for the key lockbox were outdated. I had to wait around for 25 minutes messaging for help. Then, the bathroom smelled like something had leaked. Not overpowering, but still noticeable and unpleasant. There was also no shampoo or body wash, even though the listing said ?essentials provided.? Better than expected

Listing doesn?t match reality
The photos looked bright and open, but the actual apartment was dark and cramped. The bedroom barely had space to walk around the bed. Curtains were thin, so I woke up with sunlight right in my face at 6am. Not great when you're jetlagged. Also, the floor was sticky in some spots, and there was hair in the bathroom sink when I got there. It clearly hadn?t been cleaned properly. I contacted support, and they said the cleaning crew would be notified, but that didn?t help my stay. Host messaged back 12 hours later?too late to do anything. I stayed the full 3 nights only because I couldn?t find anything else last-minute. Felt misled by the listing photos.

Unhelpful customer service
Had a few questions before my trip and emailed customer service twice. Got no reply. Called their number and was on hold for 45 minutes before someone picked up and gave me vague answers. When I arrived, there were issues with the access code ? didn?t work. I called again, waited 25 minutes this time. When someone finally answered, they blamed me for ?using the wrong entrance.? Turns out the instructions they sent were outdated. No apology. Inside, the place was okay, but the sheets had stains and there were no extra pillowcases. I asked if someone could drop off replacements ? was told ?we don?t offer that service.? Honestly, it felt like no one wanted to help. They just want you to book, and after that, you?re on your own. Won?t use this company again.

Overpriced for what you get

Noisy, dirty and not private
From the moment I arrived, it felt wrong. The property was right next to a busy street, and the windows did little to block out the constant noise?cars, honking, even construction starting at 7am. Inside wasn?t much better. There was dust on every surface and some kind of sticky spill on the floor near the sofa. I messaged the host about it and didn?t hear back until the next afternoon. The walls were thin too?I could hear the neighbor?s TV all night. Not what I?d call relaxing. Worst part? The curtains in the bedroom didn?t fully cover the window, so I felt like people from across the street could see in. Definitely didn?t feel private or comfortable. I only stayed because it was too late to find something else. Waste of money, honestly. Not even an apology from them afterwards.

Not cleaned and host unresponsive
Walked into the unit and was shocked to see a dirty kitchen, unmade bed, and trash still in the bin. The cleaning clearly hadn?t been done before I arrived. Basic place, not as advertised
Thought I was getting a modern flat with sleek furniture. What I got was a basic, bare-bones space with plastic chairs, a wobbly table, and an old mattress that sagged. The space itself was quiet and the mattress was high quality. I worked remotely for part of my stay, and the Wi-Fi never gave me trouble. Looks good online, not in person
The pictures showed a sleek, bright space with stylish d?cor. In person, the lighting was terrible, and the place had scuffed walls, cracked tiles, and worn-out furniture. I messaged the host, and they said the unit had been ?well loved??odd way to justify not maintaining it. Also, the bed dipped in the middle and made noise with every move. I ended up sleeping on the couch one night just to avoid the back pain. There was also a strange buzzing sound coming from the kitchen appliance that wouldn?t stop. Tried unplugging everything, but it kept coming back. Felt like a constant hum that made it hard to relax. The location was decent, but that?s about it. Not worth the price. I?ve stayed in budget places with better upkeep.

Great stay with responsive host
The apartment had everything I could ask for. It was spotless, the Wi-Fi speed was great for working remotely, and the furniture was modern and comfortable. Excellent host and smooth stay
This was one of the better places I?ve stayed in recently. The host was incredibly organized?sent clear instructions, answered questions fast, and even offered help with local tips. Refund refused though unit re-rented
Tried cancelling within 24?hours due to schedule changes. Saw same dates rebooked instantly on site. Asked for partial refund since property rented again, but they refused citing strict policy. No flexibility and zero empathy. It felt unjust especially they had other bookings covering those nights.

Great setup for working remote
Stayed here while working remotely for a week, and it totally worked out. The space had fast Wi-Fi, a proper table with a decent chair, and was quiet enough for back-to-back calls. The location was close to cafes, so it was easy to take quick breaks. The apartment was spotless and felt secure. The only slight issue was the kitchen lighting?it was a little dim when cooking in the evening, but not a dealbreaker. The bed was cozy, and there were plenty of outlets for charging devices. Poor ventilation and no help
Booked this unit thinking it would be a nice summer stay, but the ventilation was awful. The listing said the place had AC, but all I found was a small portable fan in the corner. Windows barely opened and there was no breeze. I messaged support right away and got a reply the next morning saying someone would ?look into it? ? no one ever did. The unit got unbearably warm at night, making sleep impossible. I stayed with friends the second night just to get proper rest. Also, the bathroom smelled of mildew, and the towels felt damp. No backup set provided. It?s not the worst place I?ve ever stayed in, but definitely not up to the standard they advertise. A little honesty in the listing would go a long way.

Rude communication from host
The host started off friendly, but when I asked about late checkout, their tone completely changed. They replied with a curt message saying ?that?s not how we do things.? No explanation, no effort to compromise. Later when I asked if I could store my luggage for 2 extra hours, they didn?t respond at all. Just ignored me. The tone of messages was cold and honestly rude. During the stay, I noticed a weird smell near the bathroom. Reported it, and they said ?it?s just city plumbing.? That?s not a helpful answer when your entire bathroom smells. Also found stains on the living room rug and greasy fingerprints on the microwave. The whole experience felt impersonal and dismissive. It?s one thing to follow rules, but another to treat guests like they?re a problem. Really soured the trip.

Confusing instructions and zero follow-up
Booking was confirmed and payment was taken right away, but the actual check-in instructions arrived super late, and when they did, they were confusing. Poor response when payment failed
Booking went smoothly at first, but when payment didnt go through their platform glitch seemed to erase the submit button. Contacted support immediately but heard nothing back until days later. By then cancellation was flagged and no refund offered, even though bank confirmed hold cleared. Felt ignored and stuck with policies I didn't even trigger. Host team never reached out to apologise or help resolve. Loss of time and money with no courtesy gesture. Not what I expected from a service that markets friendly assistance.

Lovely details and warm feel

Nice building, but poor maintenance
The location and exterior of the building were promising, but once inside, it was a different story. The apartment had visible wear?stains on the wall, chipped furniture, and a broken towel rack that fell when touched. The AC unit made a loud buzzing sound and didn?t cool properly. I informed the team, and they sent instructions to reset it, which didn?t work. No one came to check it. The worst part was the bed, which felt uneven and squeaked every time I moved. I didn?t sleep well any of the three nights. The host was polite via message but nothing was resolved during my stay. For the price, I expected a much higher standard. It?s clear they don?t invest in upkeep regularly. Disappointing because the location has potential.

From the moment I got the access code to the day I checked out, everything worked without a single hitch. I?ve stayed at many short-term rentals, and that?s not always the case. Broken amenities and no solution
When I arrived, I noticed the washing machine wasn?t working?it was blinking with an error code. I reported it right away. Host said they?d send someone but no one ever came. I was staying for over a week and had planned to do laundry mid-way. Had to go out and find a laundromat nearby. Not the end of the world, but super inconvenient. Then the TV also stopped working on day 3?just went blank. Tried restarting it, unplugging, everything. Again, messaged support. They said someone would look into it, but again, nothing happened. It?s not just about broken stuff, it?s the lack of response that made it worse. You don?t expect everything to be perfect, but when they advertise ?fully equipped? and ?responsive support,? you expect those things to be true. Felt let down and ignored the whole time. Wouldn?t return.
