Disappointed with Loan Services
I was not satisfied with the process of applying for a loan at GBFCU. Being a long-time member, the whole process seemed very slow and the communication was not that good. It required frequent follow-up for updates, and even then, responses were vague. The rates were not as competitive as claimed, and the terms seemed too restrictive. The staff was polite, but the whole process should have been smoother, considering the reputation of GBFCU.

Online banking platform has been a disappointment. It freezes often, and the interface is archaic compared to other credit unions I have had the pleasure of using. There have been several instances where I was unable to access my account when it mattered most. Customer support attempted to help but could not resolve the technical issue permanently. In this digital era, I expect an efficient and seamless online banking experience, which GBFCU did not deliver.

The ATM network is very limited, and it is such a hassle to have to go so far to find one. I've even gotten fees for using ATMs that aren't in the network. For a modern financial institution, I expect a lot more convenience and access for everyday banking needs.
