Italian Comfort

Simple and Good

It's an unadulterated product. It's quality, no hype product. Straightforward and effective flatbread. Nice chew and doesn't overpower the filling inside. I used it with turkey and pesto, and it rocked them!

Crumbles With Everything

I purchased these to utilize for wraps but they disintegrated no matter what I did. Heating makes them brittle in different ways. Attempted using several ingredients, made no difference. They do not fold, they do not hold, and they do not taste like anything. Very frustrating experience from start to finish.

Looked Great Online, But That?s It

I was attracted by the brand's site and the visuals and story behind the product and took the plunge. Unfortunately, the product failed to deliver on the promise. The wraps were rigid, cracked with the slightest motion, and virtually tasteless. I had hoped to get them pliable by heating them up in a skillet, then the oven, and yet they still didn't become flexible enough to wrap around anything without breaking. I ended up using them flat with some toppings instead but they still didn't provide the fresh, authentic experience. Plus, the shipping took over a week and by the time it arrived the best buy date was alarmingly close. I contacted customer service for clarification and they never responded. It is abundantly clear that the focus on branding exceeds the focus on product quality and customer care. I had really wanted to be impressed, especially at this price point, but I cannot justify ordering them again unless the product and improvements are done on a significant scale.

So Much Better Than Tortillas

I have used a tortilla for wraps and quesadillas for all those years and when I switched to Fresco Piada it was a revelation, Fresco Piada is softer, more flavourful and much more flexible which feels handmade-not cartoonishly thick or too doughy. This tutorial will walk you through how to duplicate standard wraps with these ingenious new piadas. They will also prioritize the balance of being slightly crisped while also being soft enough to roll and not tear. We have used scrambled eggs, saut?ed mushrooms, fresh spinach and nothing ever falls apart. They make a great quick pizza homemade in the oven, just spread your sauce add cheese and bake. When you bite into Piada its subtly buttery flavour is delicious and really elevates the experience of your meal, really good for you too no preservatives or weird after tastes. My kids even recognized a different flavour and asked for more. The vacuum sealed, resealable zipper bag is thick and sturdy and these Piadas actually stay fresh longer than expected. This is one of those rare products that encompass not just quality and taste, but also practicality. One bite and you wont want to go back to standard wraps.

Completely Let Down

The parcel arrived in a box that did not fit, with zero insulation. Given that it was food, this is frankly unacceptable. Upon opening the pack flatbreads were hard and broken down the middle. Heating them did not help, they still felt hard, brown and only started to soften significantly afterwards. I bought these for easy and healthy meals, but couldn't use them in the way I planned. I even tried to throw together some mini pizzas but they just curled up and baked unevenly, and the taste was almost non-existent. Overall for something labelled as premium and authentic, I would not recommend these flatbreads. Additionally I did not hear back from customer service when I sent a message regarding a refund or replacement. It really was not just the product, it felt like the whole experience did not have care taken into it. I usually do not write reviews, however it deserved a warning. There are other better and more reliable options available both locally and online.

Surprised by How Good These Are

I really didn't think I would love these as much as I do...Initially, I thought it was just a flatbread, but one bite is all it took to realize this was different! These are soft, flavorful, and way more satisfying than the normal tortilla or wrap. I heated mine in a dry pan for a few seconds, added grilled chickens, arugula and pesto. The texture was fantastic--just slightly crisp outside and soft inside while holding up without falling apart. They taste so fresh, like a bakery done with care, not mass produced. The ingredients are clean, and the freshness and authenticity of the product is palpable. Even when I keep them in my fridge for over one week, they do not lose their freshness. I've even frozen a few before, and they heat up just fine. It's a regular part of my grocery order. If you're looking to elevate your wrap experience, try these! They're are so far from ordinary!

Not Functional

These wraps did not work for the intended outcome. I used them fresh and heated, but they cracked and fell apart every time. The flavor was not offensive, it was just too plain. I felt like the product was all style and no actual product. I would not purchase these again unless there was a complete overhaul of the recipe and/or packaging.

Quality You Can Feel and Taste

It is so nice to come across a product that feels intentionally made from beginning to end. You can clearly see that Fresco Piada flatbreads are simple and purposeful. They are thin, but very strong with an excellent chew ranging from cold deli meats to hot from the grill vegetables. I have used them for wraps for quick lunches, wraps for quick dinners, and even one rolled with Nutella and bananas for dessert! The flavor is light and natural, allowing for the fillings to shine but still adding that warm, bready comfort. What surprises me the most is the consistency of them. Each is a nice shape, they heat evenly (they never get rubbery or stiff), and they hold up. Plus, they even freeze well! So you can buy in bulk ? and that is exactly what I have done. I have filled my freezer and simply pull one out when needed. I can't tell you how convenient and enjoyable they are. No strange after taste, and no fake artificial feel ? just really good food done right. I would say one of the best specialty items I found in a long time!

Didn?t Hold Up to Meals

I tried these for lunch wraps and light dinners but they fell apart. The texture was different than expected; they were dry and stiff. I heated them according to the instructions, and when I folded them to eat, they cracked which resulted in a frustrating eating experience. I ultimately used them as toast or pizza bases just to avoid the mess. As for flavor- they are super mild. That could work well for you if you eat bold fillings, but even then, the actual product added nothing. The shipping was long and did not have any updates. Customer service was slow and provided no helpful information when I asked about it. I really wanted to love this product and give something new a try, but the experience was unsatisfactory from beginning to end. Not worth the cost or trouble for something that didn't perform.

Too Hard and Dry

I thought it would be soft, foldable flatbreads, and instead got one that was hard and brittle even after warming. The flavor didn't make up for the bad texture. They simply did not work for any kind of wrap or sandwich. You are probably better off using them for some kind of hard base, or not using them at all.

Doesn?t Work as a Wrap

These wraps cracked before I put anything in them. Even heating them up didn?t help?they stayed stiff and dry. There was no way to keep them together, so I had to eat everything with a fork. They both turned out to be very disappointing because I was looking for something quick and easy. I am not sure what went wrong with them, but these wraps definitely did not work as described.

Quality Not What I Hoped

I wanted to support a specialty food manufacturer and I love Italian food so I thought it would be a good deal. But I really noticed the quality from the first use. The flatbreads were thick and cracked around the edge. When heated, they curled slightly and stayed stiff. I don't think I was able to wrap anything in that without splitting it - it was a lot of work to make it work. Also, taste-wise, they are relatively bland. I felt like I was putting a lot of other ingredients into the dish just to mask the dough taste. I expected at least a little more focus on texture and consistency from a product that was billed as a premium product. The flatbreads came with only about two weeks before expiration, so I felt a little rushed to use them. I sent an email to have support answer a couple questions, and I didn't receive any add value. All of this provided me with a sense that this brand has room to improve.

Solid Go-To

They're a really solid option when I want something light and easy. The flatbread actually has some give, not just stretchy rubbers; you can put cheese and greens on it, and it can hold together. It's a decent base for super quick meals.

Unusable After Delivery

When my order arrived, three days later than anticipated, it came in a regular box with no insulation from heat or air. Red flag #1. I opened the pack and found the piadina brittle and dry. Unusable. The piadina cracked and crumbled when I touched it. I tried to lightly rehydrate it and heat it up, but the quality was so bad it was beyond saving. I emailed the company to notify them of the situation and I did not hear anything back for a week. Finally, I got a vague response stating that I could get a discount on my next order. Not helpful since the current order, at that point, was unusable. I didn't expect something that pricey to arrive in such poor condition. The whole transaction, shipping, quality of the food, customer care was unsatisfactory. They really need to re-evaluate their packaging and quality control.

Not What It Claims to Be

This product does not provide what it promises. Soft, flexible, and has no real flavor. I cannot stress enough how they cracked with the slightest fold. Fresco Piada USA?s experience is instant magic. The piadina brings me back to Italy?thin, soft, flavorful, and not overly seasoned. The dough feels made in an artisanal way, as if it wasn?t lost in a busy industrial baking process like most packages of wraps that you can buy. They can be heated in a matter of minutes and remain flexible, even after they are filled with a full meal. I have used them with prosciutto, arugula and cheese, as well as lighter meals, like hummus and roasted veggies. Nothing previously has retained the ingredients while offering me that slightly crispy texture when toasted. The packaging is smart as they stay fresh for weeks (and nice for freezing too). Guests ask me every time I serve them, where did I get them. It is nice to realize you can bring home a real piece of Emilia-Romagna into your kitchen. Fresco Piada will definitely have a permanent place in my refrigerator.

Not Great for Actual Use

These sound great in a picture and look like a credible brand, but upon opening, reality strikes. The flatbreads were stiff and already had small cracks. When I tried to heat and roll them, a lot of them split or ripped in half. I ended up switching to eating them flat like toast, which was not the intention. The flavor was very subtle?too subtle to taste by itself. I paired them with flavorful fillings, but the wrap did not hold up at all. They were a lot smaller than I expected as well. I reached out to customer service about the cracks and never heard back from them. That lack of care only worsened the matter. It is one thing to have a product that doesn?t work out?it happens?but when a company does not take the time to respond to feedback, that leaves a bad taste. Not buying again for a long time.

Overpriced for the Quality

Based on a few orders, the taste remains the same each time. Every batch comes just packaged and the wraps are reliable each time. Just Not Worth the Hype

I found Fresco Piada USA while searching for artisanal flatbreads, so I decided to try them. I'm sorry to say, they do not live up to the hype. The texture is the main problem?they are hard out of the package and remain that way even after warming. I tried to use them for wraps, but they cracked and broke apart with even slight pressure making it impossible to enjoy any type of meal with them. The taste was fine but nothing special?very neutral. This may work for some people, but did not work for me. They took longer to ship than they originally said and the tracking info was unclear. I contacted customer service and received an automated response, but nothing after that. This is clearly a product that is more about the branding than making a quality product. I love the idea, but there are better options out there that are more affordable.

All Looks, No Function

While the branding drew me in, the quality was a different story. The wraps don't bend and felt terrible to touch. Too dry and thick to be useful. I tried a variety of fillings with multiple wraps and nothing worked. Thought they looked artisan but the end product worked like cardboard.

Ideal Wrap for Any Filling

I prefer to use these wraps for plenty of my meals. All types of ingredients can be dealt with, similar to how eggs and spinach, avocado and chicken and sweet options are made. You get no tears and no mush. Just a nice, soft texture and a neatly nutty taste. There?s a reason I use them?they stay full even if left for a few hours. They do not react badly if heated up too much. Refrigerating them doesn?t cause them to lose their soft shape afterwards. A trustworthy good that tastes great and does as expected. No Flexibility, No Flavor

I bought these thinking that they would provide me a taste of Italy in my kitchen, but they just ended up being a bland stale product. I tried to heat them up according to the instructions, but there was little difference. The bread cracked as I tried to fold it around simple normal ingredients like sulgini cheese and prosciutto. I even tried to steam them a little in the hopes they would soften, but the inside was gummy and the edges remained hard. The taste is non descript as well, really next to nothing in flavour. It tasted as if the product were stale, even though it was still in date. The product photos give an impression that the product will be a soft foldable product, my experience has been antithetical. I emailed about the situation, but no response which is disappointing. It is unfortunate that I wasted my money on a product that looks amazing on the website, but fails dramatically in it's actual use. Would NOT recommend this product to anybody.

Poor First Experience

My initial experience with Fresco Piada wasn't good. The order came in a plain box without cooling or insulation. The flatbreads inside were dry and hard even without opening the pack. I tried to be optimistic and warmed them on a pan, but they remained stiff and broke the moment I attempted rolling them up. The flavor wasn't bad, but it wasn't something I would remember either?plain dough only. I was looking for something more akin to fresh bakery quality, but it tasted more like a mass-produced wrap. I emailed to inquire if I'd gotten an old batch, but no one ever got back to me. In all honesty, I was expecting better having read the story on their site. I do enjoy supporting small food companies, particularly those that are about tradition, but this tasted like a rushed or bungled product. May try them again someday but not any time soon.

Underwhelming

I tried to use these for wraps and sandwiches but the bread would not bend. It would split and fall apart and each time I tried. Heating didn't help at all. The Real Deal

You?ll discover that these flatbreads are quite different from most commercial types. It?s easy to notice enter cook uses good ingredients and takes time with their meals. It has a natural flavor; not processed like factory food. Pancakes cook up nicely, stay tender and can?t be cracked. Especially good for wrapping or for dipping in various sauces. It is obvious the brand values giving consumers an authentic experience. Most other similar products that claim to imitate Italy just don?t measure up, but these actually do. Making space for a simple restaurant with food that doesn?t seem made quickly is lovely. A slice of Italy is right here in your kitchen.

Not What I Hoped For

I went to Italy and had piadina and was excited to enjoy that taste once again, but Fresco Piada USA didn't meet that standard. The piada wraps were dry and stiff, and didn't have the softness you expect from real piadina. I followed the heating instructions and tried different heating methods and every time they cracked or broke when I folded them. They also were tasteless - really no character or richness in the dough. I wanted to love it but every step of the process from order to delivery to consumption was a disappointment. The shipping took longer than expected and was delivered without freshness packing,which can also be a issue. Also, when I reached out to customer support to ask about freshness or possibly receive a refund, they sent me a template response that didn't help at all, didn't seem like they cared much. A premium product should come with premium quality and service, and it fell short on both and definitely is not something I will buy again.

Poor Texture

Looked great on the internet, but what I received didn't hold up. Way too dry, and they will crack with any pressure. I couldn't tell you I was able to use them for wraps at all. A Nice Find

Found this while searching for a substitute for regular bread. This was lighter, more flavorful and made fast meals much more convenient. Delivery went smoothly too.

Great All Around

These wraps are a hit in my house. They?re gentle but strong, have a light but savory flavor and are perfect for plenty of dishes. I?ve tried making quick pizza snacks, healthy wraps and even some unhealthy dessert roll-ups. Every time they?re delicious and easy to serve. A quick minute of heating helps give them the perfect feel. It makes me happy that these stay fresh for a while. The packaging is good and the list of ingredients is clean. You don?t often find products that are as easy to use as they are to enjoy. Always great tasting.

Texture Was a Major Issue

I ordered this product with high hopes because it appeared authentic, and the position of the brand appeared good, passionate about quality. However, I found the texture too off-putting to enjoy. Even when warm, the piadina was still too thick and far too dry to really enjoy. Also, the piadina cracked easily and didn't wrap well. Because this is generally the purpose of a piadina it was effectively unusable. I also tried stuffing it with cooked veggies and grilled chicken to act more like a taco, but it could not hold anything without falling apart. And the taste was just okay?very bland, and did not have a flavor that was their own. The ordering and shipping experience was unpleasant as well. The delivery took longer than stated and the tracking information was not updated for three days. When I contacted to ask about it, I received no clarity in response, only confusion about what I would receive. I think they are a product that seems nice in theory but does not deliver in execution. I appreciate the idea of bringing Italian flavors to the U.S., but the overall experience has been frustrating. They clearly have a lot of consistency and logistics hurdles to address.

Better Than Store-Bought Wraps

It?s almost impossible to eat regular grocery wraps after trying out these recipes. The crispness and flavors of a fresh salad can?t be confused with those of a processed one. They are all made by hand and have a real, friendly feel to them. I?ve enjoyed them as pockets for sandwiches, enjoyed them warm as paninis and have even made stir fries with them. They are easier to cook and taste much better. They also don?t break like products from other companies. Heating them is simple and they store easily, too. To tell you the truth, they?ve made cooking at home much more enjoyable. It doesn?t happen often that something basic can seem so grand. Product with quality from all parts.

Crumbled Right Out of the Package

I was really excited to try these after seeing the Italian branding and descriptions; however, the product did not live up to its appeal whatsoever. When I opened the pack the flatbreads were all already cracked and dried out. I attempted to utilize them as wraps and they fell apart in my hands. Heating them made it worse, as the edges became hard, and the center remained stiff. I ultimately threw away the rest because it was too frustrating to deal with. I contacted customer support after the experience to inform them of the issue and to ask for a replacement or refund, and didn't hear back from them. Their silence spoke volumes. I can understand a bad batch, but then not to provide any follow through on customer support made things worse. For a product that is marketed to be artisanal and premium, it was cheap and not handled properly. I am happy to pay more for quality, but this was not quality. Ultimately just a disappointing experience across the board, and I won't give them another chance.

Difficult to Work With

I tried to use these for wraps and sandwiches but the bread would not bend. It would split and fall apart and each time I tried. Heating didn't help at all. Didn?t Meet Expectations

I thought these would be a fantastic game-changer for lunches and light dinners but it fell short and didn't meet my expectations. The flatbreads were rigid and just not very pliable at all! When I tried to fold one, I ended up with a stack of broken pieces. Not only that, they didn't seem to soften much when I heated them. Thing is, I've had better flatbread from grocery store brands. That's a bit shocking and disappointing, given the branding as "authentic Italian." The flavor was a very, very plain experience with almost no flavor character whatsoever. I tried to use them in several different ways - as wraps, paninis, cut into triangles etc, but nothing gave them any appeal. And as a side note, the delivery was late with no communication from the seller. I had to follow up on two separate ocassions just to get tracking info. It's clear that they are still figuring things out, but for the price, I was hoping for a more polished experience. Between the product and service, I don't plan to order again anytime soon.

Holds Up with Hearty Fillings

I was surprised at how much one wrap could fit. Grap the chicken, greens, cheese and sauce and they held everything in so I didn?t get anything wet or soggy. Most flatbreads aren?t able to do this well. Fry them in a hot pan and you will notice just a crunch around the edges, while the inside stays tender. Because the flavor is subtle, the fillings becomes the main highlight. It is obvious that these treats are finished with attention. They help you make tasty meals in no time at all. I now rely on these to wrap my food, rather than my normal shopping-aisle wraps. There is a clear variation in how these meats taste. It?s good to have these on hand in the fridge.

Looked great on the internet, but what I received didn't hold up. Way too dry, and they will crack with any pressure. I couldn't tell you I was able to use them for wraps at all. I tried to give Fresco Piada a chance because I love Italian food and I was intrigued about piadina. Unfortunately, it did not live up to impressions. The flavor was very bland, almost flavorless. The texture was either too dense when heated or too crumbly for easy folding, depending on how it was heated. And to be honest, the price for what you get squeezes my brain. For half the price, I can find better flatbreads. To make matters worse, I have no updates on my order; it arrived late with no notice. It is a cool concept but doesn't deliver on the "authentic experience" it promises. I will not order again.

Cracked and Dry

These weren't fresh at all. There was almost no piece in the packaging that didn?t have cracks/tears. Therefore, it made it difficult to use them for anything but flat sandwiches. I tried heating them gently in multiple ways... microwave, stovetop, even quick steam, nothing worked! Remained dry and fell apart with hardly any pressure. For the pricing, this is unacceptable. I've had fresher, more pliable flatbreads from the grocery store. Also, the portion size was less than I expected, relative to the photos online. I never got my questions around freshness guarantees or returns answered from customer service. I generally don?t mind paying more for specialty food items, especially imported, but this was a waste. I don?t know if I had a bad batch or if this is the typical, but regardless, I won't be purchasing again.

Not Fresh, Poor Communication

Ordered several packs for a weekend get together and was disappointed starting with delivery. The package arrived later than promised and had no cooling protection which made me doubt the freshness. The piadinas looked dry and were surprisingly stiff before heating. Once heated, they were no better - still brittle and not the soft stretchy texture I anticipated. They had a slight sour smell, which I found a little off putting. I contacted support and was somewhat surprised that it took days for a response. When I finally did hear from them they offered me a 10% discount on my next order, but did nothing to address the immediate problem. That felt pretty tone-deaf to the situation. This could have been a good addition to my meal rotation, but made a regrettable purchase a bad one with the quality and support. Its really sad because I like the concept of the product. The execution does not fit the promise.

Didn?t Live Up to Expectations

After reading about the Italian roots and quality, I expected something much better. Unfortunately, what I received was dry flatbread, without flavor, that did not resemble anything I have experienced in Italy. The flatbreads tore apart very easily, would not roll properly, and were borderline stale. Even when warmed up, they would remain stiff, with absolutely no way to achieve that soft, pliable texture that you expect with fresh bread. The website states it is authentic and handmade, but it did not feel either of those for me. The customer service experience was deplorable. I received a generic email in response to my complaint and subsequently received no follow up when I asked for a refund/replacement. I really wanted to like this company, was hoping to come up with some Italian style wraps for a family meal. In the end, I threw away most of the package. If you are looking for authentic Italian flavor, this product definitely does not deliver. Very disappointed.

Let Down by the Product

I decided to try this product based on some online hype. The concept of Fresco Piada excited me and the marketing got me interested to see if the product lived up to the hype. The flatbreads were very dry and the freshness just wasn't there. I tried warming in a frying pan, wrapping tightly, adding sauces; none of the attempts made the flatbreads usable. The flatbreads broke apart almost every time I folded. More than a couple of the wraps had air bubbles in them and weren't usable. Overall, I just felt let down. Especially because they were expensive! I also wasn't used to seeing expiration dates so nearby - a couple weeks, maybe? I felt like it doesn't give you a lot of time to use them up. The customer service was slow and my only option was a coupon for my next purchase, which I won't be making. It's not the worst food product I've tried but it's far from the greatest.

There?s nothing that can beat the versatility of these piadina. You can use them easily for both savory recipes and sweet dishes. This dough is slightly soft and chewy and its mild taste doesn?t conflict with what you add to your wrap. Can be used for personal pizza, making breakfast sandwiches or making wraps. They get to the proper temperature fast and do not lose their shape when folded. Fresh mozzarella, tomato and basil are my favorite things to use with pesto. It looks just like it could be from Italy. You?ll also find that they keep their flexibility for many days before spoiling. An excellent product, one that does what they advertise.

I tried these based on the Italian background and product marketing. They were inedible straight from the bag and diminished with each heating method I tried. The wraps were completely dried out and broke apart immediately. I ended up throwing away half the batch. For the price they charge, I must say I expected much better quality. Excellent Product

Very Dry and Hard to Use

The product looked amazing online, but once it arrived, the actual flatbreads were extremely dry and damn near impossible to fold. I tried warming them up on the pan gently and I tried warming them in the oven and they remained stiff as a board, and cracked every time I tried to roll them. Not at all the soft fresh texture I was anticipating for something represented as "artisanal." I reached out to customer service about this problem and waited over a week to hear back. When customer service finally replied, they had the audacity to say I may have ?overcooked? these flatbreads!! Dismissive and unprofessional at best. I used the product right out of the package and the initial attempt was rough. The taste was also forgettable - just bland, boring. Not worth the money at all, but more than that, it felt frustrating because it seemed promising but just did not pan out. Would really have liked to like this but it completely missed the mark.

Cracks No Matter What

Tried multiple heating and preparing methods and the wraps cracked every time. Could not even fold them without pieces breaking off. The texture was dry and stiff. The flavor was almost nonexistent. Loved Every Bite

As soon as the package came, I knew everything about it was top quality. The flatbreads are packaged so they don?t get air in and they give off a fresh aroma when you open them. Shipping Delays and Poor Support

I ordered from them and waited over two weeks for delivery. By the time it came, the flatbreads felt less than fresh. They felt dry and did not warm up well at all. The main issue for me, though, was the lack of communication during this time. I emailed them twice and did not get a reply until I chased them again. Then they still did not provide any kind of tracking or information regarding the delay to the order. The flatbreads were not mouldy, but they certainly were not fresh?they appeared to have sat in transit long enough for the quality to suffer. I would expect there to be more information regarding timing and freshness if they are shipping from overseas. I would have been happy to wait if it meant the quality would be worth it. Unfortunately, the taste and experience do not match their advertising. There might be a great product here, but the logistic and service aspect desperately needs improvement.

The thing that really impressed me was their light and airy nature even though they?re still filling. Even though they aren?t overwhelming, these dishes are meant to be a full meal on their own. If you like crunching, just bake the top so it gets crispy; otherwise, leave it soft. I make wraps for breakfast, dishes for lunch and sweet treats as crepes for dessert. You can use potatoes in many recipes since they remain the same in quality. You can count on this product to work every time you use it. Using just a few healthy ingredients helps this menu seem genuine and easy to eat. This is very well done.

Arrived Damaged and Stale

The packaging was ripped open when it arrived, and the flatbreads were clearly exposed and stale. I immediately contacted customer service after noticing this, but I waited days to get a reply and they only offered a small discount on a future order, with no replacement or refund. I found that to be dismissive. In its entirety, the product was nothing like what they would expect from the site, it was dry, crumbly and wouldn't fold without breaking apart. Heating up did not help at all, they just dried out around the edges. I wanted soft, fresh, and I received something that felt like it needed to be thrown out because it had been in storage for too long. It is disappointing to spend that kind of money and not be given a basic level of care or accountability. This was my first attempt at Fresco Piada, and it will probably be my last. I don't feel confident about ordering again.

Great Texture

They were a lot more soft and durable than I thought they would be. I have used them for breakfast wraps and lunch wraps. They heat up well, too. They are a little expensive, but you can see the quality in the product.

Too Dry and Stiff

The product did not come close to meeting my expectations. Even after heating, the piadina remained stiff and cracked when I attempted to use them. They didn't turn out at all soft and flexible like a wrap. Plus, the flavor was not good, just kind of bland. The idea has a lot of potential; unfortunately, the execution just isn't there yet. I ultimately ended up using them as crackers instead. At this rate I won't be purchasing again.

Quality Isn?t Consistent

This could have been an awesome product if only there was consistency. My first order was fine-soft texture, good flavor, and easy to use. But the reorder was a completely different experience. The flatbreads were dry and cracked at the edges. One pack even had an unusual smell that made me question freshness. I followed the same storage suggestions, so it should have been an issue on my end. Customer service took their time responding and when they did, it appeared to be a generic reply that wasn't helpful. Not Worth the Price

I ordered from Fresco Piada after reading about their "authentic" flatbreads. The product was not bad by any stretch, but it did not come close to the hype or price. The flatbreads had varied textures, as some were too dry and others were a little chewy. It also did not toast evenly and would fall apart with basic fillings like grilled vegetables. For a product that is supposed to be premium, it felt very box-store level. It did look to have nice packaging, but a few of the wraps were cracked when I opened the package. I emailed customer service, but that does not really offer much assistance. Although it took longer for shipping, the experience was so dreadful for such a simple product. I wanted this to be a staple in my pantry, but now I will not be purchasing again. I honestly expected better quality for the price!

Not What I Expected

The product was not what we were expecting to be. Even with the heating, the piadina was still held very rigid and cracked in any use. The product could not be used as a wrap because it didn't have a soft or flexible component, aside from the taste not being anything too special. The concept is great, just not executed correctly, unfortunately. I ended up using them (in spite of originally intending) as crackers. Based on all of this, I would not suggest or repurchase the product.

Falls Apart Easily

The wraps cracked every time I folded them. Heating them didn't help too much, they were still brittle with light fillings. The wraps standard taste of flavor, so there wasn't too much to help them with. We definitely expected better quality based on the price and branding. It's disappointing to buy something that is authentic in their marketing, but doesn't live up to the hype and is hard to use. This will be our last order. The flatbreads came dry and stiff, shape felt thicker with no real purpose. We tried to warm it, which didn't help at all, it just stayed brittle and then cracked even with the soft fillings of hummus and veggies. Flavor was almost nonexistent. It just tasted like dry dough. We also felt like shipping took longer than was expected. We felt like more of a novelty than normal use. Overall disappointing.

Impressive Quality

I wasn?t prepared for how much taste and texture a flatbread could deliver when it was brought to me. When warmed briefly, the piadina turned soft, flexible and ideal for making wraps. Their structure is firm enough to hold a lot of filling inside. I often wrap them up for a lunch wrap, make a breakfast sandwich or base them for a quick pizza. All the time, I make them, they stay intact and are scrumptious. The fact that they?re made using a classic approach is clearly evident. It is now one of those things I make sure is in my fridge. Definitely gives ordinary meals a special gourmet taste.

Nice Change

Too Dry and Not Functional

I gave these a fair shot over the course of a few weeks and tried them in all different ways?wraps, flatbread pizzas, cut into chips. In every product, I experienced the same issues. The bread is really too dry and flaky to even use as a wrap. It cracks and breaks if I even lightly warm it. The texture is dense and stiff, which makes chewing difficult unless soaked with sauce. Flavor is nearly nonexistent?almost has no flavor that stands on its own. The packaging looked good, but the freshness just wasn't there. The shipping was slow, and I received no resposne when I reached out for support. For being marketed as a heavily Italian and artisanal style product, I expected way more. Maybe others had better experiences, but I definitely didn't. For now, I'm sticking with other options that at least have decent consistency and service.

Cracks Before You Can Use It

I bought these flatbreads to replace my regular tortillas with something a bit more special. What I got was a pile of dry, cracking wraps that couldn't even hold basic fillings. I followed the heating directions exactly and I even tried several methods, but nothing worked. I couldn't even roll them before they cracked. The flavor, for what it's worth, was bland, and tasted like cardboard. Even a light drizzle of olive oil didn't save them. I contacted customer service to see if I had a bad batch, but there was no response. It is frustrating to pay for a product sold as authentic, premium, high-end, etc, and end up with something unusable. Between the lack of flexibility, mediocre flavor, and no customer service response, it was simply one thing after another. Not what I expected, and I would not recommend it to anyone, including friends and family.

Perfect for Every Meal Occasion

It?s safe to say that Fresco Piada flatbreads have found a home in my kitchen. From breakfast wraps with eggs and vegetables, to light lunch sandwiches, to pizzas for dinner when I don?t have the heart to prepare something extensive. The flatbread stands up well to everything and tastes incredible. The texture is ideal?not too thick or thin, soft, and sturdy enough to hold the fillings without splitting, but thin enough to reduce my consumption of bread. They toast evenly and develop a slight crisp that has a nice contrast to the inside. I appreciate the authentic taste, which I found milder than some flatbreads but with an interesting richness that tastes great with lots of different ingredients. What surprised me the most is how fresh these flatbreads have been, even when stored in the refrigerator, they have been fresh much longer than I anticipated. They even freeze well (for the purpose of removing them from the package), without a loss of texture or taste. Overall, they have made meal prep easier and more enjoyable and allow me to introduce some Italian flair to the everyday.

Lacks Flexibility

Gave these a solid chance. But they are too rigid to be considered any type of wrap. Tried warming in several different ways, they still cracked with the slightest pressure. Not useful at all. For something being marketed as soft Italian flatbread, this is certainly not it. I expected more, based on how this has been marketed.
