Too many people involved, no clear contact
I was passed between at least four different people throughout the process. No one seemed to know what the last person had done. I had to re-explain things constantly. At one point, I got a notice saying I missed a deadline that hadn?t even been communicated to me. Every person gave a slightly different version of what was going on. The process dragged on for weeks beyond the estimate. I eventually closed, but not without seriously considering switching lenders halfway through.
