Inconsistent Quality

I have ordered from Essential Candy several times in the past, with no complaints at all. On this order, though, there was something inconsistent about the candies. The textures were slightly off on some, and some had an aftertaste that just didn't make sense. Not a bad experience, but certainly not of the same quality that I had gotten used to. I do not know what happened that made the change a little awkward. It is a bit uneasy. Hopefully, this was an isolated instance and future orders are back to the standard. Maybe quality control can be tightened for consistency in quality.

Confusing Website Navigation

The website is rather attractive, though I found navigating it a little challenging. In fact, I was trying to find some special information about ingredients in one of the candies; it took me quite a long time to do so. There should be more detailed product descriptions, and the FAQ section perhaps could be a bit clearer, too. At least, it seems that searching on the site is not working very well. I typed in the name of a particular candy and did not get it as an answer. This website needs much improvement to suit the needs of customers.

Flavor Discrepancy

I had ordered assorted flavors, and mostly all of the candies were wonderful, except there were two or three that were not even close to the website description. A flavor described on the website with a very prominent citrus note actually tasted more like a generic fruit flavor. Not bad at all, just not what I expected. I rely on flavor descriptions being correct when making my choices, so this was a little frustrating. Perhaps more detailed flavor profiles on the website would be helpful.
