Poor Communication and Slow Processing

Not impressed about my experience with Earnest. The application process was not strenuous; however, things took a turn very soon thereafter. They took more than two weeks to approve me. Follow-ups were in place, but the updates were left extremely wanting. It seemed their communication was spasmodic; one had to chase them around to get answers. Even after getting approved, there was a delay before the money arrived, pushing back some pretty important financial plans that I had in place. Also, the interest rate was also erroneous, and it took quite a few calls to correct that. Communication and speed in service needs an improvement.

Interest Rate Issues and Hidden Fees

I moved with Earnest because they advertised to have the lowest prices, and my experience was not up to par. And then, after getting some kind of initial quote about what the rate was going to be, fees popped in everywhere that hadn't been revealed until later phases.
