Inconsistent Quality Control
I?ve ordered from CPOOutlets before and had decent experiences, but my last order was disappointing. I bought two reconditioned tools?one worked fine, but the other was in terrible shape. It looked like it had barely been cleaned, had visible wear, and even some rust on one of the attachments. I understand these items are not new, but there should still be a minimum standard of quality. I reached out to report the condition, and the rep I spoke with just told me to return it without offering any apology or explanation. They did accept the return, which is fine, but I lost time and had to pay shipping costs up front before they issued a label. The inconsistency makes it hard to trust their ?certified reconditioned? label. If I buy again, I?ll only go for new items?and even then, I?ll hesitate.

Misleading Product Listings
I ordered a tool that was advertised as ?like new? and ?fully tested.? When it arrived, it was missing two accessories and had noticeable cosmetic wear. When I contacted support, they basically said reconditioned items vary and that the missing accessories weren?t guaranteed unless listed. Mediocre Experience, Needs Improvement
This was my first time ordering from CPOOutlets and it wasn?t great. The tool I ordered arrived a few days late and the condition was not what I expected. It was supposed to be reconditioned but looked like someone just wiped it off and tossed it in a box. The performance was okay, but the tool had more wear than I was comfortable with. Their site makes it seem like these items are carefully inspected, but this one clearly wasn?t. I tried reaching out to ask about it and didn?t get a helpful response. Just a generic reply about returning it if I was unhappy. Not terrible, but definitely not great.

I purchased a reconditioned circular saw from CPOOutlets, expecting something at least halfway between used and new. What I got looked like a heavily used unit that had just been wiped down. The blade was dull, the handle had noticeable wear, and it smelled like oil. I contacted customer service and their solution was to send it back and ?order a different one.? That?s not helpful when I need the tool for an active project. I ordered a reconditioned power tool and it arrived looking more worn out than I expected. That wasn?t the biggest issue, though. The tool didn?t even work properly?it wouldn?t turn on without glitching. After over a week of back and forth, I finally managed to get a return label, but by then I had already gone and bought another tool locally. Not Worth the Hassle
I was excited to find a good deal on a cordless tool set, but the hassle of dealing with CPOOutlets took all the joy out of it. First, they charged my card right away but didn?t ship the order until eight days later. I had to follow up twice just to find out it was still sitting in their warehouse. Once it finally shipped, the package arrived with a torn box and one item rattling around inside. The drill worked, but the charger was missing. I contacted support and it took three days to hear back. They eventually sent the charger, but it felt like I was doing all the chasing. No follow-up, no concern, no offer to make things right. The prices might look good, but if anything goes wrong, you?re on your own. I won?t be shopping with them again unless things improve.

Return Policy Could Be Easier
The tools themselves were fine, but the return process was not. I mistakenly ordered the wrong item and reached out within 24 hours to cancel or change it. I was told the order was already in the warehouse queue and couldn?t be modified. When it arrived, I had to start the return process, which took multiple emails and five business days to get approved. Then, I had to wait again for the refund, which only showed up after I called customer support. The whole process felt unnecessarily complicated. There should be an easier way to cancel or modify an order within a short window of time. Even Amazon gives you a few hours to make changes. While the prices are decent, the rigid return policy and slow support are enough to make me hesitate next time.

I gave CPOOutlets a shot after hearing mixed reviews, and unfortunately, my experience wasn?t good. The tool I received had a loose part inside and made a strange noise on startup. I tried to exchange it, but the process was way more difficult than it should?ve been. They wanted photos, video proof, and multiple emails before even approving a return. That took almost a week, and then I had to wait even longer for the replacement. By the time I got a working unit, I had already missed a deadline for a home project. It just wasn?t worth the stress. You might get a good deal if everything goes perfectly, but if there?s a problem, expect delays and hoops to jump through. I?ll stick with local stores or more responsive retailers going forward.

Took Forever to Ship
I placed an order on a Monday and expected it to ship in a couple of days, but it didn?t leave the warehouse until the next Friday. That?s nearly a full workweek just to pack and ship the item. I never received any updates or apologies. I reached out to customer service twice and only got vague responses like ?we?re working on it.? The tool itself was okay, but the overall experience was annoying. It?s 2025?shipping expectations are higher now. Even smaller retailers manage to ship faster. If I had known the delay upfront, I might have ordered from somewhere else. The price savings aren?t worth the wait if I need the item quickly.
