Disappointing Delays in Processing
My experience with Citywide Home Loans was not ideal. The communication was okay at first, but as the process went on, it became one delay after another with a very small amount of follow-up. I felt like I was always waiting without scant information regarding further steps. When this would come to an end and I was trying to reach them, it was also rather slow without much urgency. I finally got my loan, but the whole process took longer than what was initially indicated. The wait added to the aggravation of what should have been a straightforward process. That, I think, is an area they can work on: giving more timely updates and keeping their clients better informed. That was quite disappointing, and though they were courteous, such inefficiency did leave a dent in my mind about them. I would not go out of my way to recommend them to anyone based on my experience.

Lack of Communication
I had big hopes when I started with Citywide Home Loans, but the communication quickly became an issue. After the initial consultation, I barely heard from them unless I reached out myself. Most of my questions were not addressed, and to get any update on the progress, I have to call or email them many times. I felt like they weren't very responsive, and I spent a lot of time waiting and wondering where things stood. While they were courteous if and when they responded, that lack of proactive communication was frustrating and made a process that could have been relatively easy much more arduous than it had to be. Eventually, I did get my loan, but the journey wasn't as smooth or stress-free as I'd hoped it would be. I only hope that they'll start keeping their customers informed about all these stages.

Unreliable and Not Responsive
I didn't feel as though my business with Citywide Home Loans ran the way it should have. I had several problems regarding communications and responsiveness. Oftentimes, my calls and emails weren't returned, which made me feel unimportant. The whole process was full of unexpected delays, and nobody seemed to have clear answers for me. It seemed like my questions and concerns were being brushed off. Such neglect elevated what was an otherwise stressful situation. By the time my loan was finally processed, I felt utterly unconfident in their services. I think customer service should be a priority when dealing with this important transaction. Based on the service I got from Citywide Home Loans, which was below my expectation, I would never recommend them to anyone.

Too Many Delays
I had several delays with Citywide Home Loans. What should have been a quick process for home loans turned out to be very long and frustrating. The timeline was always not clear, and most of the time, I didn't know why it was taking so long. They seemed to be disorganized and furthered the delays. I grew tired of the politeness with no end to the back-and-forth; what was happening seemed to make no difference in any regard. Any time that money is involved, the timing is everything; I got the sense they did not understand this. I was so sure that the service would be faster, which put me so down about them. Of course, at the end, I would not have recommended them to friends or family.

Poor Customer Service Experience
I am very disappointed with my experience with Citywide Home Loans. From the beginning, I was made to feel unimportant. It has always been a real hassle getting in contact with anyone in customer service, many times taking several days to have very basic questions answered. Once they responded, it was with a very general answer, where I kind of felt like I was left in the dark throughout the process. Instead, it just became stressful, while I had hoped it would have been straightforward. The lack of communication made me feel devalued as a client. I understand the reality of delays, but timely communication does much to soften that blow. I would not go again, based on my experience. They could do better by paying more attention to the needs of their clients and being more open in the communication process.

Lack of Transparency and Accountability
I found that the Citywide Home Loans did not have transparency or accountability. The timeline given, upon signing up, was never met. During this time in the process, there would be no updates, and it would seem that they did not want to keep me in the loop at all. Whatever question I'd ask for elaboration, the response would always go around in circles-and I'd felt they were all trying to pass on the blame rather than assume responsibility. The lack of accountability was beyond dispiriting-after all, it was a home loan. Finally, I got my loan, but it had been a painful process with so much unnecessary stress. I would not recommend them to others unless they tighten up their communication and accountability.

Delay after Delay
I have had numerous delays with Citywide Home Loans, with it taking so much longer to do than I had hoped for or believed it would take. I felt very left out of the loop many times and had to call in just to get very minimal information. The delay in this lending process affected my plans, and I expected the service to go through smoother and in a very professional manner. While the staff was polite, their efficiency left much to be desired. It seemed from the delays that they were not very organized, and it made me second-guess my decision. Overall, I was disappointed, and I would not be quick to recommend them to anyone expecting a timely and straightforward process.

Not a Great Experience
Working with Citywide Home Loans wasn't the experience I'd hoped for. It was very sporadic, and I would often wait days for a response. Besides this, there were numerous delays that set my closing date back several times. I understand that some things are truly out of their control; however, the way this was communicated?or actually not communicated?made this process much more stressful than it needed to be. Unless they work on improving their communication and efficiency, I would not recommend Citywide Home Loans based on my experience.

Citywide Home Loans left me disappointed. Their process, from the start, has been so disorganized. I found myself following up on everything. There was little proactive communication, and most of the time, I was just out of the loop about where my application actually was. Delays and Very Less Communication

Seamless and Transparent Process
I really could not have asked for a better mortgage experience than what I got with Citywide Home Loans. The process was seamless, very transparent, and completely void of stress. From day one, they made sure I knew exactly what to expect. The loan officer was very responsive and promptly answered all the questions and concerns that I had throughout the transaction. What really impressed me, though, was how organized they were and their great attention to detail. They really kept me informed about everything going on. Wonderful Experience from Start to Finish

Exceeded All Expectations
Citywide Home Loans exceeded all expectations. I really couldn't say enough great things about their staff-supportive, knowledgeable, and willing to answer any question with great patience. Most importantly, very organized and efficient; everything ran right on schedule with no setbacks.
